I received this book from the author for an honest review.

WHOOOOO!!!! I LOVED ME SOME FREDDY!!  I mean Dee AKA Demeter was pretty awesome but Freddy….sigh…he was perfection.

So Freddy is not looking for any one-night stands.  He is looking for substance. When Dee comes to Aries club to see her daughter, Persephone, she is stunned by the sexy younger man giving her the eye.  Hey Dee hasn’t seen any “action” thanks to psycho/stalker Zeus and given her aging looks no one seems to care one bit about her needs/wants.

Freddy is enthralled by this woman.  They two have quite a deep relationship but soon Zeus is all “God of the mountain tops” demanding she stop this relationship.  Dee is destroyed because she knows how awful Zeus can be.  Freddy is not having it and he pushes Zeus a little harder then he should have for the woman he loves.  Soon Dee learns a lot more about the man she loves and all the secrets that come about his true identity.

I loved the story and I actually loved seeing Hades and Dee coming to an understanding about their love for Persephone.  But what I fear is what Zeus is going to do seeing everyone not following his orders when it comes to all things he considers HIS!!

Tricia Andersen lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with her husband, Brian and her three children – her sons, Jake and Jon, and her daughter, Alex. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in English and from Kirkwood Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Communications Media/Public Relations. Along with writing, Tricia enjoys coaching and competing in track and field and traveling to cheer on her children in their various activities.

I received a copy of the book for my honest review.

HOLY SHITBALLS!!! I knew that Kate and Tiago would couple up.  I also knew that Pam would take me on a wild ride through the story.  And…..what a wild ride!

Kate had been kidnapped, trained and tortured 4 years prior.  When Tiago kidnapped Kate, he took the next closest thing to Tate.  Tiago recovered from Lucia’s attack while he kept Kate isolated trying to break her.  What Tiago found was a strong feisty spirit that drew him to Kate.  Tiago’s darkness included watching his “victims” be raped by his guards.  He was going to watch Kate’s rape until she begged to not take that last thing from her.  Tiago was then lost to Kate and she would be his and only his to take.

Tiago was drawn to the blade and the bleeding it caused.  Yet…he was an artist with his cutting of Kate.  Her spirit and mind decided that whatever he cut would be beautiful and in the end it was.  No matter how much Kate didn’t want it, she was drawn to Tiago and saw the tenderness that no one else did.  Tiago worshipped Kate.  Although Kate didn’t know until she and Tiago were separated, Tiago had given up his corrupt ways all for Kate.  It wasn’t until Cole told Kate of the value of the stones in her barbell studs that she found out.

Quietly Kate made arrangements to look for Tiago as she knew in her heart he was out there somewhere.  Tiago found her before she left.  Pam takes you on a dark ride through Tiago’s heart and past….and then shows there’s a way to open closed hearts.

Pam….I thoroughly enjoyed reading Take as well as this entire series.  I can’t wait to see how you weave the rest of the Freedom Fighters lives.  KUDOS!!!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Wow! What a book!  I think as Kylie steps away from her Stage Dive series, more people are falling in love with her depth of writing and abilities.  Don’t get me wrong, I loved the series but seeing her write this and the others she has released since shows her amazing skills.  She is hitting different subject matters and knocking it out of the ball part.

This book is amazing in that you wonder how would you be able to deal with SEEING the person who destroyed you yet doesn’t remember?  Could you still hold that grudge?  Could you forgive and move past it with this “new person”?  I don’t know how I would react to be honest!!

This is what Ed is dealing with.  Clem was that person to him.  She was mugged causing amnesia so she forgot everything.  She can’t be left alone and so he comes to help her sister care for her.  He is having a difficult time because he hates her and loves her but is confused by what to do for THIS Clem.  This is not his Clem and yet it is!!!

What I loved was seeing the couple get on and over what happened in the past.  They are able to fall in love again but not really again because it’s a new Clem and a changed Ed.  It loved this 2nd chance love story.

In the living room (that way I can keep an eye on the boy) and I must have Coffee and something salty to snack on. Cashews or corn chips usually work.

Talking with the other authors and readers. I get to meet so many new peeps. And the food at the afterparty! It ranks right up there with the people.

I love writing on my back patio while the dogs and the child frolic in the yard. A glass of wine and sour patch kids are a must.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

When KI passed out the form for this, I had to jump.  I mean a novella taking place in Vegas…yes please.  We all know what happens in Vegas NEVER stays in Vegas right!!    All the stories that take place in this anthology are happening during a citywide Blackout in Vegas.

This was a super intense read but a quick read for any fan of her writing….and I am a fan for sure.

Reid, hottie movie star, who crashes in to Harper, regular insecure woman on vacation.  The characters are pulled together while they are in the elevator and they just can’t seem to shake off what they are feeling.

This was a great quick read a in a great collection of novellas.

K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology, Amazon Bestseller Becoming Mrs. Lockwood, and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. I’ll write anywhere but I love writing at Starbucks. I usually get a Chai Tea Latte but I don’t need food. If I don’t have coffee or a latte, then it’s water.

Meeting readers and my peers! It may take me a bit to come out of my shell but I LOVE watching people and being in my element. Book signings are life!

Holy Hells Bells!!

Jaron Mercer is so much like his father, Greyson, in so many ways!!

Piper!! Holy shit did I fall in love with her like I did her parents, Max and Dale!!

If this story is any indication of how the rest of the kid’s books will be, we are going to be in for a hell of a good read!!

Jaron and Piper’s story is only the beginning and you get to meet them in this anthology. They have some serious issues of loving each other for a long time but never really acting on the feelings until Paris. The two of them have finally lit that fuse and now they can’t stop what is meant to be.
This is a short and quick story, but it leaves me LONGING for the rest because trust me friends, this book is JUST the beginning of their long love story!!!

Meeting my publisher and editor. They both happen to be from Australia but I was lucky enough to meet them at a convention a year or two ago. They keep me sane through writing. And it’s my favourite moment as an author.

A.D. Ellis
I’m an Indiana girl born and raised. I have a teen girl and tween boy. Most of my time is spent teaching alternative education in the inner-city of Indianapolis. I love to write, read, and crochet. I’ve been binge watching Glee and American Horror Story recently. I’m in love with pizza, tea, pulled pork, chocolate, and wine with friends.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

If I’m at home, I’m likely on the couch with a blanket, my laptop, earbuds in, and some hot tea.
If I’m feeling unfocused, I’ll go to Starbucks for a chai tea latte and vanilla scones so I can blast music in my ears at a corner table and get some words down.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

Meeting readers is amazing. It’s so fun to hear from people who love my stories as much as I do. And meeting new readers is great because they get to find stories that may end up being their favorite.
And spending time with author buddies, meeting new author friends, just the feeling of fun and relaxation.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

I don’t really have one. I feel like I’ve been lucky to meet so many of the authors I love to read. There are plenty I’d be thrilled to meet, but no ONE author is on my list. (I did recently meet a unicorn author for Jillian Jacobs 🙂 He was her unicorn author AND he writes about a unicorn. Hahahahaha…. That was fun because I didn’t have to be nervous, I was just like, “Hey, my friend loves you and would kill me if I didn’t get you to sign this and take a picture.” Fun times.)

What author would you love to write with?

I’m actually doing my first collab project with Declan Rhodes right now and it’s been tons of fun. I’d be open to writing with almost anyone as long as we meshed well. We wouldn’t have to write exactly the same, that would be boring. But our styles should correlate. And we’d have to have patience and flexibility.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

There are SOOOO many, I can’t pick just one. All the signings, meeting readers, spending time with friends, writing days with author buddies.
Actually, there are TWO best memories:
1) when I first started writing M/M, I needed help/research and a reader put me in contact with her son. That was in 2015 and he’s one of my very best friends to this day. We talk daily and plan trips together. He’s an amazing person and I’m so blessed and grateful to have him in my life.
2) At a signing in 2016, I saw this guy and there was truly something magical about him. I told him later that he lit up the room, made everyone want to be his friend, and had a general “fuck off” attitude at the same time. I didn’t understand the pull, but I was drawn to him and HAD to know him. As bad as it sounds, I sleuthed out who he was (I’m a damn good detective!) and as I was leaving the signing that day, I contacted him. So, yeah, it could have been taken as stalkerish and creepy, but luckily he didn’t see it that way (much) and he’s one of my very best friends to this day. We talk daily, take road trips, and he’s an incredibly important part of my life.
So, overall, my best memories are the ones that have brought dear friends into my life. Without this author journey, I wouldn’t have my author friends, my reader/blogger friends, or these two guys who are such important friends to me.
