ARC for an honest review.

Poppy was witty and entertaining. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from the story from Heath and Poppy’s unconventional first meeting to the surprise ending. The two characters come across with strong personalities and continuously fight to control the story’s progression. There was no way of knowing what direction this story would take with all of its twists and turns that kept me on my toes to the very last page. The whole story felt real. I could visualize it as if I were watching a movie. I don’t think I will be forgetting Heath or Poppy anytime soon. It was a great story with an unbelievable ending!

I am touched to see the great reviews. Keep them coming, please. Wet is a 3 part series and is not a standalone–sorry. I know some people hate sequels but I never intended this story to grow to the proportions that it did, it just took on a life of it’s own.

Now that all the Wets are out, I’ve been working on the sequel to Jungle. I also have a Wet Part 4 in my mind, and a totally new book idea. Unfortunately, I’m a slow writer, but I’m aiming for a new release by December 2016. Fingers crossed!

Waking in Time by Angie Stanton
I received this book from the publisher for an honest review.
So when I saw the concept of the book I raised an eyebrow. I mean time travel through the time? I loved it. I am a huge historical fan so I figured this would be a great fit for me. Then when I read that the couple time traveling are falling in love but not traveling together…well my interest was even more piqued.
Abbi is sad and heartbroken that her grandmother has died. But she does what she had planned and goes to her grandmother’s college. She is hoping to “feel” her grandmother while living in campus. When she wakes after almost her first day she is starting to travel though time. She is really confused and is wondering what the heck is going on until she runs in to someone who will be helping her in her journey back through time.
Then we meet Will……YUMMY!! Will and Abbi have a history together. They are star crossed lovers who fall in love but then are pulled apart. When they keep writing notes to each other as they time travel. It was super sweet to see these two.
The mystery…oh yes my friends there is a mystery in the story. We know that Abbi has to find the…….nope not getting it from me but she has to find something very important to her grandmother. I loved the twist of the answer to her grandmother’s question. It was really sweet.
My only issue what that the story was a little bit slow in the beginning. It seemed to take me a while to get into the story. By the half way mark I was really invested and wanted to know what was going on. I think that it may have been a little too much set up/description for parts and so it dragged a little bit.

So all of you Western Palm friends know that Blake is my Lip Ringed Hottie Right? WELLLL his buddy Adam might be giving him a run for the money. I mean pierced, MMA hottie annnnd with tats. Yes Please!! Sorry Blake this Pretty Girl is all about your buddy right now.
Adam is cocky and arrogant but 110% in for pursuing Abby. He knows she is skittish and will need to go slow with her but he is invested because he knows she is different. She will keep him on his toes. This Firecracker is far from a Stage 5 Clinger like previous women.
Abby is a hot mess. Her ideal couple has split. If they can’t make it, no relationship can. This causes her to push, push, push Adam away. She knows she has feelings for him but dang if she will own up to them even when it destroys her to deny there is a “them.
I loved Adam and was happy that he pushed Abby just as hard as she fought their relationship. He wouldn’t play her or string her along but he sure let her know what the plan was. He just hoped she would get on board and agree to it!!
I am a huge fan of this series. I love how each book intersects with the others so we can see old scenes and relive old drama!! Trust me when I say my throat punching hate for Jason was there. My love for Blake was still present and now my wiggly eyes over Adam have been quenched!!

My head shook absentmindedly as I tried to comprehend all that he had told me.
