I closed my eyes, hoping for some sleep, anything to stop the images flooding my mind. I could still smell her, and me, on my skin. I felt sick to my stomach. I needed a drink; I needed to eat to quell the nausea. The first thing I did when the train arrived in Victoria Station was to buy a disgusting bagel from a fast-food burger outlet. I drank down a full fat Coke, something I never drank normally, without taking a breath. My hands shook as I guzzled down the food. I must have looked like a drug addict coming down from a high. It hit me like a kick to the stomach and I doubled over. That was exactly what was happening.

I was coming down from such an intense high; it may well have been cocaine rushing through my veins instead of the unbridled passion I’d experienced.

Mackenzie Miller should have been a class A drug. He was as addictive, as powerful, and as damaging.

When my body returned to some form of normality, I headed out to one of the waiting taxis. Other than to give my address; I didn’t speak. I didn’t answer any of the questions thrown at me.

As we pulled up at my apartment block, and I fumbled inside my purse for money, the driver looked in his rearview mirror again.

“Are you all right?” he asked. I looked at him and caught sight of myself in his mirror.

My eyes were red with the tears I’d shed. I placed the money on the tray in the glass panel that divided us.

“No,” I said, and then climbed out.

About the Author:

Tracie Podger currently lives in Kent, UK with her husband and a rather obnoxious cat called George. She’s a Padi Scuba Diving Instructor with a passion for writing. Tracie has been fortunate to have dived some of the wonderful oceans of the world where she can indulge in another hobby, underwater photography. She likes getting up close and personal with sharks.

AHHH  SO when the last book ended Moira was mated to the top shifter in the community, Blaze, and his mate of 500 years, Dante, who is a force to be reckoned with himself.  This book is about Moira trying to figure out where to fits into the guys life.  Sure she is their mate but what else is she?  What else do they expect of her?  She is a small town country girl living in a big city mansion.

The whole book is Moire kinda falling inside of her head and worrying that maybe the guys made a mistake.  The guys are so lost.  Their confident, sassy shewolf is a mess and they don’t know why.

When Moire’s heat cycle hits she has to make a decision : claim my men for what I want and need or wait and cause myself more and more pain and heart ache.

I am so loving this serial series.  I am kinda sad there is only 1 left in the boxed set I purchased.

This book we finally get to see Blaze again.  WE met the president of the gathering in Gideon’s book.  He and his mate Dante have been mated happily for over 500 years but it seems they are destined to be a triad and they haven’t found the 3^rd part to complete them.

Moira is sad and happy.  She is happy so many in her pack have found their mates but because she has taken on the main alpha role to let Killian and his new mate get to know each other, she is left mateless again.

Moira says screw it one the last night and decided to go to the end of the gathering party.  She is is annoyed that yet again she is left dealing with a DB alpha but she can FEEL her mate…..she sees two men but is confused.  Which one is her fated.  After a mix up and even more heart break Moira goes back to her room to sulk.  Little does she know tomorrow’s meeting will change her life!!

The trio are a hot read but we feel for Blaze and his worries and concerns.  I am looking forward to the last book which is actually more of these characters.

After I grabbed book 1 for free off amazon, I went ahead and purchased the 4 book set.  EEEP I am loving it.

This serial is something new for me.  I have never read a book with an Omega before so I was stoked.  Kalie is an Omega for her very small wolf pack.  Her duty it to mate and produce more Omegas.  This is why she is at the gathering.  She is here to meet a Beta from another clan.

Gideon is looking for his mate.  He helped Killian get his mate but he needs to run and find his.  He is stunned when on his run he sees the beautiful red head and knows she is his fated mate.

After a little incident to two meet and get to getting to know each other.  However, Kale has a duty for her people.  She must meet with the Beta and his Alpha for a lunch.  WELL that meeting didn’t go over well since the other alpha was a DB and her mate was not happy seeing his woman with another wolf.

I loved seeing where the lunch date did take us and hope to see that beta again really soon!

Gideon and Kalie’s claiming scene, or scenes as it were, were super hawt!!!  Can’t wait for the rest of the books!

I grabbed this book off Amazon for free.

SO I am a huge paranormal girl an when I saw this was a free book in a serial I thought why the heck not.  I know some people are not fans of serials but I love them.  They are short and quick reads so a blogger like me can fit a few in a day to read.

Shifters are favorite genre of mine.  This book is about a lot of shifters gathering to mingle in hopes of finding mates.  Killian is the alpha of a apck of shifters who haven’t come to these gatherings for many years t de to dwindling mates being found he decided to give it a shot.

He walks in and immediately finds his mate.  Lyra is unfortunately stuck with a DB of an alpha who thinks woman can and should be forced to submit to him and in his bed.

The story is how the two are trying to sneak off to in fact “mate” and claim each other before her alpha discovers them.  He can nd will keep them apart because he has the ability to deny Lyra to this man even though he knows what Lyra and Killian are to each other.
