ou are cordially invited to the event of the season…
Please be our guest as the National Association of the Lycan Brotherhood hosts the seventy-eighth annual Gathering. The biggest event of the social season, the Gathering has become the favorite method of networking among packs and bringing together fated mates. At the Gathering, shifters from across the country show up to show off and to see who’s the true leader of the pack.
The black-tie welcoming dinner will be the perfect chance to meet Killian O’Shea, Alpha of the Appalachia pack. Killian’s rough, tough, and built for fighting, which is a good thing as he’s got a road-blocking Alpha standing between him and his destiny. Lyra, Killian’s newfound mate, likes the way he disregards the rules keeping them apart. She’s ready to risk it all for the bigger-than-life Alpha who makes her heart race.
Come and enjoy tales from the biggest shifter event of the year as wolves from around the country fall in lust, in love, and in fate at the Gathering.
Each Gathering Tale is a stand-alone short romance, though reading them in order introduces characters as the author intended.
I grabbed this book off Amazon for free.
SO I am a huge paranormal girl an when I saw this was a free book in a serial I thought why the heck not. I know some people are not fans of serials but I love them. They are short and quick reads so a blogger like me can fit a few in a day to read.
Shifters are favorite genre of mine. This book is about a lot of shifters gathering to mingle in hopes of finding mates. Killian is the alpha of a apck of shifters who haven’t come to these gatherings for many years t de to dwindling mates being found he decided to give it a shot.
He walks in and immediately finds his mate. Lyra is unfortunately stuck with a DB of an alpha who thinks woman can and should be forced to submit to him and in his bed.
The story is how the two are trying to sneak off to in fact “mate” and claim each other before her alpha discovers them. He can nd will keep them apart because he has the ability to deny Lyra to this man even though he knows what Lyra and Killian are to each other.
A storyteller from the time she can talk Ellis grew up among family legends of hauntings, psychics, and love spanning decades. Those stories didn’t always have the happiest of endings, so they inspired her to write about real life, real love, and the difficulties therein. From farmers to werewolves, store clerks to witches—if there’s love to be found, she’ll write about it. Ellis lives in the Chicago area with her husband, daughters, and two tiny fish that take up way too much of her time.
