OMG i am so stunned by this book. I mean I knew it was Sass and Tank’s book BUT the way it was told totally rocked my socks off. I mean who can have a main character be in a coma while we the reader are falling in love even more with him? Uhm Chelsea can that is who. Yes my friends, Tank is in a coma 50% of the time. How can that make this awesome you ask? Well we KNOW how Sass feels after book 1. She bared her heart to him for it to be shut down. What we dont know is that he admitted alot to people before he was injured protecting her and Doll. We are inside his brain during his coma and we are hearing him proclaim his love of Sass.
While Tank is struggling to get back to his Button (I loved that name FYI) we are seeing Sass flounder. Nick aka Mr. Perfect Prince Charming is not so perfect but Sass will not fail because she will not be an ol’lady. She will not not be a priority to the man she gives her life to…so she settled for Nick.
When Tank gets out we know right away, Sass is in for it. We see their dynamic several times before Sass finally leaves to be with Tank. Now I am skipping over some MAJOR stuff because people I want you to read this book. When I knew I fell in full on love for Tank was when he claimed Sass in front of Nick…defo a SWOON moment if ever for me.
Now i know that some people felt their romance was rushed but I think it was true. Sass was not sure if she wanted a life with Tank even though he told her he was in it for the long haul. When Sass sees some stuff she realizes she is done fighting it and they admit their love. Yes there wasnt a lot of sexy time or dating but we KNOW they are both head over heals. So I am good with howt he story ends and the way their story went. I cannot wait for the next couple of books. The set ups have been pretty awesome so far.
