The Beta of Blackhawk Pack, Mako would sacrifice virtually everything for his pack, including his life. But when a beautiful mage arrives to stand in as healer in the aftermath of near destruction of the pack, Mako is suddenly struck by the Hunger.
When Robin comes to the Blackhawk Pack, the last thing she expects is the Beta of the pack to claim her as his mate, something she has no time for. Her mission is to find and exact revenge on the anti-mage who killed her grandmother.
Robin and Mako fight their Hunger-fueled, primal attraction tooth and nail, while looking for answers and retribution in the midst of great danger for them and the pack.
Will Mako succumb to the legendary Wolf’s Hunger? And will Robin surrender to his mating call that’s becoming impossible to resist?
From New York Time’s Bestselling Author A.K. Michaels
A Wolf’s Hunger is a series of standalone Shifter books each with a HEA and absolutely no cliffhangers.
Full of passion, intrigue and Paranormal Romance. Jam packed full of suspense, romance, thrills and hot Shifters.
The plans we have for our life and what fate has in store for us never seem the same. Love me some Mako! The pack is in the middle of a terrible situation and they are being selective in who they trust with and within their pack. Robin, a mage, pops in unexpectedly and announces that she is their new interim healer. Mako starts in with the hunger and has no idea what this new feeling is. He has found his once in a lifetime mate. The pack was burnt by their previous healer/witch so they are skeptical of Robin. Robin, being the mage that she is and growing up in a pack, doesn’t trust the wolves. Mako and Robin fight the attraction but in the midst of this there is a traitor and the pack is being attacked. This is where I leave you with what the story is about. The push and pull between Mako and Robin is unmistakably hot and romantic. This author can take these incredible characters and pull you into their world while making you feel every iota of their rage and hate, passion and love. I was sucked in from the very beginning and could not put it down. Love, love, love me some Mako!
**This is a stand alone but I recommend reading Saint first as Mako picks up right where Saint leaves off. I believe that if you read Saint first some of the backstory will have more meaning for you. **

I have been many places and done many amazing things. My motto has always been that you can choose to watch life pass you by or be the one spinning the world. You have to get out and live. Life won’t come to you!
Writing is just one of my passions that I’m lucky enough to be able to express. I also love music, reading other people’s books, but most of all spending time with my kiddos.
The characters in INK are very near and dear to my heart. Some are very closely fashioned after real people in the real world. Many of the experiences that Shay has had actually happened, of course there haven’t been any murders – oh wait there were but not like in the book. That’s a whole other series!
INK is currently slated to be a 6 book series (0-5). I hope that you enjoy INK: Fine Lines and fall in love with Aiden and Eli just like I did!
