Numb is anything but Numb. I can’t even begin to start with how this book makes me feel. This author knows how to provoke some of the strongest emotions from you. I am not a crier but I absolutely recommend have tissues on standby…I may or may not have shed a few tears. This is INTENSE! That is all the warning I will give you.

Dale and Max were pregnant. Dale was a major d-bag to Max and Max lost their baby. While Max is coping with the loss of their child Dale is in a coma from a gunshot wound. Max is crumbling inside and fueled with rage and hate for Dale but has this undeniable pull to Dale. Her attraction to Dale is making her insane and mad at herself. Dale comes to and can’t remember the bad things with Max. But he can’t figure out how to show Max how sorry he is. He hates himself for causing her so much pain and the loss of their baby. All the while the “Organization” is still out there and the ring leader is still at large and wreaking havoc. Just wait for twist! OMG!!!
The sheer intensity of the love/hate relationship that Max and Dale have is overwhelming….and HAWT! The characters will attach to you and you will feel like you are part of the story. Many times I found myself yelling at the characters to just see the light! But we know how well that works, lol!
This is an absolute must read and I feel like Numb is one of the most intense of the series. Get ready for a wild ride!!!!
