The epic conclusion to King’s story.

I was chasing pure darkness.
Succumbing to the needs I’d forced to the far edges of my soul.
Running like a madman towards evil.
Then I found her.
She breathed life into me when I hadn’t thought there was any life beyond what I knew.
She gave me hope after I’d forgotten what it was.
She helped quiet the demons raging deep inside me.
Now I will lay myself bare for her.
I will bleed for her.
I will love her madly, deeply, passionately, completely.

This is the conclusion to King’s story. All the ugly and all the beautiful, by the end of this duet you will come to understand the man behind the club.

King’s story is told over two books – King’s Wrath & King’s Reign.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Omg Nina what have you done to me. I never thought I would love King as much as I do after this.

King is violent, ruthless and fierce when protecting his MC and ones he loves. Yes he has his alpha bad ass side but his overprotective loving side is amazing granted it doesn’t show often. King needs a strong woman who can hold her own and have his back when needed. Let me tell you King has met his match in this woman.  I fell in love with King and his woman. I did get frustrated with King and the whole she is mine, I gave her up she deserves better, and then nope she is mine.  I can understand her trying to keep him at arms lengths. These two had great chemistry when they did get together and to see King when the playful banter between these two came out was amazing.

I was thrilled to see King finally get his one and only. She is a spitfire that King needs but she balances him. Not only does she get him even all his crazy and she is cool with it. She truly gets him in every way and would not change him. I for one love her for that.

I love seeing the characters evolve in each book and fall in love with them a little more each time. I am excited to see what will come next from Nina.

Some of my favorites

“You can lie to me as much as you want, but the truth is plain to see in your eyes. I’m not going anywhere. You will be mine.” He then let me go, stepped away, and with one last look, he walked out of the kitchen and out of the house. He left me in a state of need like no other I’d ever been in. And I knew he would get what he wanted. Because if I stopped lying to myself for even a second, the truth was right there to see and feel. I wanted King just as much as he wanted me.

King didn’t say a lot and he certainly didn’t make apologies, but his actions meant more than words.

She placed her hand on my arm. “We might bitch and grumble at you, but deep down we don’t mean it. You have always been there for us, and the shit you’ve done to help won’t ever be forgotten. That’s family, right? We get each other through the crap, regardless of any bad decisions we might make along the way. God knows you’ve stood by me through all the bad choices I’ve ever made. I love you, big brother.”

My man wasn’t one for a lot of words, but the ones he did give were worth every breath he took to say them.

“My job is to take care of you, and I don’t give a flying fuck how long I’ve known you, you are mine now, and I will go to the fucking ends of the earth for you.”

“I will never be like other men. When I know what I want, I don’t fuck around. I make sure I get it. And while I may have fucked up with you once, that shit won’t happen again. You take whatever time you need to wrap your head around this relationship. I’m not going anywhere.”

She said she loved me more than she hated me, but I didn’t think she did. Love didn’t lead to actions like hers. It was a false love. It was the kind of love rooted in fear and doubt.

The emotions coursing through me were unlike any I had ever experienced. For the first time in my life, I had felt fear. It was a foreign feeling to me, and not one I ever fucking wanted to feel again.

USA Today Bestselling Author Nina Levine is an Aussie author who writes alphas with a side of dirty and sassy women who don’t hand their hearts over easily.

When she isn’t creating with words, she loves to create with paint and paper. Often though, she can be found curled up with a good book and some chocolate.
