Ginger Ring is an award winning author with a weakness for cheese, dark chocolate, and the Green Bay Packers. She loves reading, watching great movies, and has a quirky sense of humor. Publishing a book has been a lifelong dream of hers and she is excited to share her romantic stories with you. Her heroines are classy, sassy and in search of love and adventure. When Ginger isn’t tracking down old gangster haunts or stopping at historical landmarks, you can find her on the backwaters of the Mississippi River fishing with her husband.
When you are writing, what are some go to’s that you needs? IE Foods to eat, noise level, place to sit.
I hope to have a desk and office someday but for now, I write in the living room with the TV on for background noise. My cat is usually on my lap and I am drinking either hot chocolate or root beer depending on the time of year
What are you favorite things about attending signings?
Meeting readers that enjoy my books, makes all the long hours writing alone worth while. It’s great being around others that enjoy reading as much as I do and I always come home with a bunch of new books to read. I also love a lot of the new destination signings. We enjoy checking out all the historical sites and if gives me new ideas for stories.

When you are writing, do you have a consistent schedule where you write every day at the same time or are you a sit and go on different days to get it done kinda person?
No, I work full time so I have to settle for my days off and weekends. I went on a writer’s retreat last fall and that was great. I had the whole weekend to write with others. I really felt like I accomplished a lot and my writing improved.
What is your favorite memory so far as an author?
Meeting people that enjoy my books and winning awards. I’m not a best selling author but it makes me feel like I am. <3 <3 <3
Do you have a book that is your most prized possession? What is it and why is it so amazing?
All my books are my favorite. I can’t pick just one.
