What’s a girl to do when she loses her job, her best friend goes missing, and she starts to see, hear and feel things that aren’t there?
Moonlight Grove is a small, peaceful town full of familiar faces. It’s perfect. Until my best friend, Lucy Warren, goes missing.
Enter Simon Caldwell.
The man is attractive. A bit mysterious, and a new face in my sleepy little town. He’s a paranormal investigator who’s come to Moonlight Grove looking into reports of the supernatural kind. It all sounds like good TV to me. When I begin experiencing things I can’t explain, he may be the only one who can help.
Maybe there’s more to Lucy than meets the eye. What if her disappearance is linked to all the crazy things happening?
With Simon’s help, I’m determined to find her and to ignore the way he makes me feel while I do it.

I received this book from the author for a honest review.
When Britni said she was writing a paranormal, I was stoked. Paranormal is my JAM! So when she sent me the copy I was so excited and planned a whole day to sit and enjoy the delicious story she would weave.
The story is about Sierra, a hottie named Simon, and her missing witch friend named Lucy. Sierra goes to Lucy’s house and discovers her friend is missing but also finds the tall drink of water snooping around her place. The two have instant attraction and want to know what happened to Lucy.
The story is a lot of world building and preparing you for what is to come in book 2 and 3. Yes we get resolution BUT there is a shoe drop moment where you need to prepare for the next book. Is it a cliff hanger? Not really but there is MORE to come. Does that make sense???
The cast of characters from Aurora and Owen helping to find Lucy plus all the crazy history of the town is interesting. I liked the spin she took with the town and what is up with Lucy. I will say this is a bit of a slow build because there is so much more to come. You need to get to know the cast and the backstory for the future stories. I am curious about what is said at the end of the book to Sierra and what that all means!!!

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I was so excited when I saw Britni wrote a paranormal I jumped on this bad boy like there was no tomorrow. Really Britni does some amazing writing and this was all that and more.
Sierra is a hot mess, really the girl losses her job and when he seeks out her BFF to help her get a job she realized she is gone. JUST GONE…no one wants to help find Lucy or even believes she is really missing. But the crazy doesn’t end there now Sierra is hearing and seeing thing that she just does not understand.
When she goes to Lucy’s house she runs in to the hottie Simon Caldwell. There is something different about him but he is willing to help Sierra find Lucy and doesn’t think she is crazy. Simon is a paranormal investigator who is in town because of increased spiritual activity.
On their journey to find out what happened to Lucy and where she is Sierra is introduced to new people. I cannot say if they are paranormal or not but I have my hunches. I do not do scary movies and this one had me wanting to close my eyes especially when they were in the old building and crazy things stated happening. I need to know more about the individuals involved in this story not just Sierra and Simon but ALL of them. I’m so ready for more of this series.
Britni Hill is a new adult and contemporary romance author. She spends her days as a hair stylist, and her nights with the characters in her head striving to write real, page turning romance.
Britni lives in Indiana where she was born and raised. She has a rescue pup she adores and an unhealthy love of binging on cheesy, teenage dramas. If she isn’t writing, she’s reading or watching horror flicks with her boyfriend.
