I listen to this book in one day. It drew me in and I didn’t want to hit pause. I was looking for something different I am a shifter and MC gal I’m usually not a sports type girl but this one may have changed my mind.

Luke came from the wrong side of town but was able to rise above it and made something of his life. After his parents died he finds himself responsible for his 14 year old sister. A big change from what he was use to in his life. He is use to fast cars and easy women. He finds himself face to face with a feisty librarian when he forgets his sister at the library.

Violet is getting by day by day and paycheck to paycheck but she is doing well for herself. She befriends a 14 year old girl, Frankie, which comes by the library daily that she finds she has a lot in common with between books, music, and the loss of both their parents. Violet finds Luck is there to bail her out of trouble when her car breaks down and forced to spend time with him.

I loved the back and forth Violet had regarding the relationship with Luke. It felt real and could see this occur in life. Quite book girl finds herself in the fast and the furious world of a man and his car. You could not have two more opposites than Luke and Violet….Luke lives life by the seat of his pants and the faster the better….Violet likes quite time and to be alone. The side characters were great too. I want to find out so much more about them. My heart went out to Frankie for having to deal with her aunt and everything that her aunt put her through. I cannot wait to read Mitch’s story but the one I am really interested in is Kurt and Leelee. I loved Leelee from the moment she arrived at the races. I want a friend like her. I cannot wait to see how things go when these two go head to head.

I purchased the ebook.

I am a huge fan of holiday, syrupy novellas with inst-love.  When Britni publishes one, I grab it.  This book was the perfect little Easter Egg for me to read while sitting around on a Friday night.

This is a sweet story about Madison or Aunt Grace (though we don’t know why she is called that but I guess we all can figure it out) who is helping her sister out for a few days.  Family is family and Madison runs to hang with Sophie for a few days.

During one of the outings Madison meets up with a grump dad and his adorable son.  They two chat and run into each other the next day.  When Grumpy Dad finally starts to talk, the two start to feel some tension.  Slowly the kids are making plans and the adults are not really sad to be spending time together.

The story is sweet, sexy, and full of fun.  I absolutely love the story of Dane and Madison.  The epilogue made my heart so happy seeing them 1 year later.  I would love a story about his buddies at the bar!!!

Britni Hill is an author with books ranging from new adult to contemporary romance. She spends her days as a hair stylist, and her nights with the characters in her head striving to write real, page turning romance.

I purchased the audio book of this novel.

I love reading or listening to a “new to me” author. When I saw this author will be attending my favorite author event and she wrote about sports characters, I had to grab a book.

This is a great 2nd chance love story. Who doesn’t love a 2nd chance story???? I am a sucker for it for sure.

Becca and Scott were love at first sight kinda kids. But as life threw curves balls and Becca’s insecurity got the best of he,r she leaves the love of her life. Now 8 years later Becca realizes she is missing the man of her dreams. She decides to not avoid seeing Scott when he visits this summer. She is prayig he too will want to try and rekindle things.

Scott has it all. He has homes, money, and is important on his hockey team rocking the captain title. The one thing he doesn’t have is Becca. She is the one who got away. He is determined to get her back and make her see she is the right woman for him, and he is the right man for her.

The story is a sweet but sexy story of the two reconnecting and figuring out if they are the one for the other. I loved seeing Becca and Scott opening their eyes and making room in their heart for the other. I also love the side story of Becca and Scott’s best friends who too have seem to have found a love connection whether they want to admit it or not.

The story has some insta-love elements but since these two date for high school and college it is easy to see them slip back into their relationship routines. One of my favorite things about the characters are their abilities to want to best for the other half. Scott is out to show Becca how important she is and Becca is all about supporting Scott in his time of trial during his hockey season. They both really do compliment the other and their history is shown really well.

The audio voices in the book were amazing. I loved listening to the differing voices for Scott and Becca. I hope when the rest of the books are done, they continue with the two people because they did a great job bringing the characters to life for me.

I read the first chapter and was messaging Jillian how hilarious this book is. Seriously I snort laughed so many times in this book!

Cricket is so damn funny and off the wall, but I loved her so much.  Once you get past her wild and crazy side you see a woman who wants to be loved for her but is so scared of being loved.  Her life hasn’t been great, and she hides it well.  However, her insane attraction to her friend’s brother changes that for her in an instant.

Theo is a total sick in the mud.  He goes boxing with his sister and takes notice of the wild instructor immediately.  When she just shoves her way into his life, he is not happy but also not unhappy about it.  The only issue is…he can’t get involved with her given he is investigating her father’s dirty dealings.

The dates the two go on…had me in stitches!!  I mean shut up!!  I couldn’t stop giggling while reading!!  The story of Theo’s investigation takes on the majority of the end of the story but seeing them try to be together through it all was well worth the read.

Seriously I would love to read a book about Jessica, Theo’s sister, because this insane family needs more wild in their lives.

Amelia, Niko, Miguel are a hot yummy story full of denial, love, acceptance, and full on brattiness.  LOL

When we first met Amelia, she was a mess. She had been bound and set to be sold in to trafficking.  She has been saved but still working on getting back to a more normal self.  She has become very close to Molly who was also with her in the cages.  When Molly gets lost in the jungle and Amelia also gets lost looking for her Niko and Miguel soon realize their change at happiness as a group will be lost.

Niko and Miguel had been “playing” together and both wanted more but were afraid of how they felt.  Miguel knew but Niko fought it.  When they both feel for Amelia, they have to confront their feelings for what the three could have.

Miguel was on board for having both.  Amelia was freaked out and full of her own trauma.  Niko was afraid to admit what he felt for them both.  The three have a lot of work and learning to communicate.  The guys also need to teach Amelia about the lifestyle they love. They need to get her motivated to want to try “things”.

There is a lot to this story between the growing love the group has, the magic being used, the bad dudes making an appearance, and of course people fighting the fates for what they love.  I loved the story and how this books moves the series ARC further. But Diego is still my baby daddy….sorry guys!! LOL

when Dean finally leaves the ranch for his cousin’s wedding in Vegas, he figured a few drinks a tipsy bridesmaid on the dance floor and then he’d be back on the ranch back to his daily routine. Little did he know that Tessa was going to also be at that wedding as a bridesmaid, he’s had his eyes locked on her since he meet her at Christmas on the ranch but, the only problem that is stopping him from hooking up with Tessa is that she just happened to be his boss’s little sister and they treated him that she is off limits. But Tessa also wants Dean, and she isn’t about to let her brothers get in the way of that, drunk and in Vegas. hehehe oh this one is so far the funniest of the coupling, Charlie the oldest brother has been hooking up with one of the locals, they were just there for each other and wanting some company. I received this book from the authors for an honest review.

I met this author after I saw a TikTok of hers about a different series.  I am so thankful she has allowed me to read that series and is giving me her new series to read as well.

This is a great series starter with some amazing characters we meet.  I admit as much as I LOVED the main H/h in this book, book 2’s couple has me clawing to read their story.  I mean I messaged the author to say NOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW.  She even agreed with me about their story being a great read to come.

Ok so this series starts with Jace in the shrink’s office not wanting to admit how he is feeling about the death of his partner and best friend.  He is reassigned to a small town for 3 months to get his stuff together essentially.  He goes to the town and immediately sees Camille.  He gets the official “Hands off” by her dad…ya know…his new boss the Captain of the force.  Unfortunately, circumstances will force them to be thrown together 24/7 which makes hands off near impossible.

Camille is having a hard time.  She knows what people think of her and she is a broken women thanks to her ex-boyfriend, Stuart.  She is attracted to the new detective until he talks.  Then his mouth makes her remember what a jerk he is.  LOL

This story has a LOT of chemistry. The slow burn of Jace and Camille is HAWT.  LAWD, when they finally crash and combust, loooook out!!!

The side story of the missing girls is a low theme in the story until its not.  Then we are running to figure out who, what, and why of what is happening.  I admit I was so wrapped up in the Jace and Cami when I realized what was happening, I was like RUN FASTER!!! Get going!!!!!

But Easton and Ellie….I cannot wait!!
