I try to put an artistic spin on everything I do but there are two things I continually fail at miserably:
1. Cooking (seriously, I can burn water)
2. Sewing (buttons immediately fall back off)

I consider myself undomesticated, though I love baking and make a mean BTS (Better than Sex) cake. When in observation mode I’m quiet, however, my mouth is usually open with an encouraging glass-is-half-full pun or, quite possibly, my foot.

I am a Bearcat, an interior decorator, a cat mom, and I’m fluent in sarcasm.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I write in coffee shops or cafes. Dayton has a new place called Epic Coffee Shoppe and it’s, well, pretty epic. Chai lattes are a go to when I’m out but at home I love a glass of red wine when I edit. Cookies or brownies are nice too.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

Meeting new people (both readers and authors) and BOOKS!

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

James Rollins. I found one of his books at a yard sale and it jumpstarted my drive to write (after I read his currant books of course). I want to say thank you and have him sign my shelf of books.

What author would you love to write with?

This one is hard. A Dayton author I would love to collaborate with would be Aliya Dalrae even though she writes paranormal and I don’t (yet). We have similar senses of humor and would be snort-laughing throughout writing process. I’d also be happy to collaborate with Carolyn Brown. She’s nice (I met her and her hubby at the RWA national con last year) and knows what she’s doing.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

There are many memorable things I could list: the feeling when I was first live on Amazon, my first library event, when a paperback arrives and I hold it for the first time… but my favorite so far is the first time a reader contacted me and talked about my characters as family. She knew my story almost as well as I. It was awesome to know I lifted her spirits and made her giggle.

Welcome to book 2 of Anna Hague’s Love Strictly Tested series.  The book picks up right were the first left off except this time the story is about Emma aka “Angel’s” bff Sabrina.

Sabrina decides to do her Master Thesis on BDSM to better understand her bff and to make up to her and her husband about misjudging the lifestyle so quickly.

Poor Sabrina.  I don’t think I have ever seen someone so repressed as her.  She is a 30 year old woman that is basically scared of her own shadow and everything makes the woman throw up.  However as she learns about the lifestyle she is introduced to Cameron Terry.  We’ve met Cameron before in Angel’s book, he is Jordan Angel’s husband nemesis.

As I was saying, as she learns about the lifestyle she also learns about herself.  

Hague, has done a amazing job taking a repressed woman and making her blossom into someone almost completely different fans she has done that with the help of a well written male character in Cameron.  He helps Sabrina find that woman that she has hidden deep within herself.

Also, as we read about Sabrina and Cameron, we also see glimpses of Angel and Jordan and how they find out the story that she told the reporter in book 1, will come back to bite them in the butt.

After the ending that I just read i cant wait to see what happens in book 3.

I’m hooked!

If you don’t believe in supernatural beings or witchy things, this might change your mind. I am loving Black Magic Voodoo and am looking forward to continuing the saga!

Hi! My name is Lauren Helms, and I’m a romance author! I write flirty and nerdy contemporary romance. My first three books are part of my Gamer Boy series. My next release is a standalone, but part of the multi-author series, 425 Madison. I’ve been an author for three years now, and I still love it!

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite place, but its the only place, my desk at home. And while I’m writing, I don’t eat. But when the words aren’t flowing I snack on candy.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

I’ve only been to one signing. It was a small event at my local library. I enjoyed talking with readers and meeting author authors. I’m really excited about the Author Indy Event this September.

My unicorn authors are Lauren Layne and Colleen Hoover.

I would love to write with author Cassie Graham.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

That would have to be when I meet someone (in real life AND online) who I don’t have connections with, and they have read my books and loved them. It makes me feel like people are actually reading my words.

Wyatt is a dragon shifter and is freaking amazing!!!! He seems very quiet and reserved but he has quite the past. After the craziness of the previous book he is taking some much needed time off that he never allowed himself in the past. He is going to hang out with Black Mountain Pack. He believes he is the last of his lineage but then again….maybe not. The story of the dragon shifters and their mates is pure gold but heartbreaking nonetheless. As Wyatt goes in search of what is tugging at his heartstrings he finds someone that may be able to save the dragon shifter race. Natalie lives in a town that is full of shifters. This town is a place of peace for them and the humans that are aware of their existence. She has been given a reading of her future and she is not sure if she should take it to heart or not. In the midst of these two and their feelings, the resistance has reared its ugly head. Wyatt is alone and has to seek help from Leo and the Black Mountain Pack to cut the head off the snake all the while trying to help keep his soon to be mate safe. Wyatt’s and Natalie’s story is a slow burn that is thrilling and full of mystery. An absolute page turner. The history of the Dragon shifters in this book is one of my favorite ever. It’s very intricate and super interesting. A must read! Loving me some Wyatt!!!!

When you find yourself with a cruse of being able to turn into a wolf you need to have a few things in your life 1) being able to find your mate and 2) Having a brotherhood people that understand and help shape you into who you are. My name is Alianne Donnelly, and I write fiction across multiple genres with varying degrees of romance. Most of my books are fantasy or science-fiction. I love to incorporate fairy tales, history, and mythology into my stories.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

My favorite place to write is a south-facing room in my house. It gets tons of natural light all throughout the day. I sit on the couch an have an inspiring view of an overflowing bookcase right in front of me! 🙂 I tend to crave salty snacks when I write so chips of some kind are an absolute must to have within reach at all times.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?
