Abby lost the love of her life too soon, they didn’t get to get married and he didn’t get to see their child born.  Yet, she knows he’s still there and does her best to instill in their daughter the love that he had for her.  She is moving on with her life of running her business and raising her daughter and is slowly learning that is ok to ask for help. Well, slowly learning because the Montgomery family has added her to their ever growing brood and telling her daily that it’s ok. Lol

Ryan, is a artist at Montgomery Ink Too.  He has a hard time letting anyone in too, but for a totally different reason.  He is attracted to Abby, but will never act on it if he has his way.

You can’t stop fate though.

Ryan has once again shows us why she is a great author by giving us a couple with real world issues, instead of a couple who just has no problems what so ever, have a great love and live happily ever after.  Abby and Ryan want each other and have to deal with their obstacles before they can.

She also shows us that family is not always about the blood that runs through your veins, but about the love that is in your heart and that is what the Montgomery family is all about.

GAH!!  I love paranormal and this series is so going to make my heart happy!!!  When I was offered the chance to read this I jumped because paranormal is my heart and soul.  Friends!!  I am soooo happy I did.  I loved the world Valerie created.  I loved the characters and I am soooo excited for more from them.  I am not sure who exactly I want to read next!!

Marcus is an empty, lonely immortal.  He lost the mate to an evil enemy and so he is walking the world looking to avenge her.  He is happy to aide his best friend and future king of their race when his sister tells him he has yet another mate.  This is so NOT what our man wants or feels he needs!

Cassie is so loving and hating the erotic dreams she keeps having over this faceless, FANGED man.  When Marcus strolls in to the bar she is at, BOOM she is a hot mess…literally HOT! *wink*  She is losing her mind over how she is attracted to this stranger.

The story of the two of them fighting the draw plus also crashing into each other is such a great read.  They can’t stop fate and it seems fate needs them to be together due to the future war that is erupting.  Their love is also at risk, because the bad guy and his evil accomplice need what they have to conquer the world.

I seriously can’t tell you enough how much I liked this story and how I look forward to the continuing story of trying to stop the war.

Tainted Reasoning, Dark Sovereignty Book 2  by Anna Edwards

I received the book for my honest review.

What can I say?!  Anna pulls us deeper into what remains of the Secret Society.  We learned that Nicolas was not like his evil father.  He married Victoria. Nicolas and William slowly started righting the wrongs of the Secret Society.  Victoria’s bestie, Tamara, was instantly drawn to William.  William grew up being hidden from the world by his father as well as being told he brought shame to the family…being less than the wonderful human being he was deep inside.  Just like Nicolas, William’s heart was good and that good would come out with Tamara.

William thought his rough, strong sexual desires and acts were evil. Oh baby, bring it on!!!  Tamara discovered that rough, strong sex is what she desired as well.  Tamara walks along side William and shows him he is not the only one who has Autism.  Tamara volunteered at a school that caters to those with Autism and brings William to visit as a surprise.  Seeing William open up and realize he is not a disgrace, was beautiful.

Viscount Hamilton is a *&%# bag.  Talk about warped.  Damn!  I anxiously await Joanna and Theodore’s story.  As evil as Hamilton is and all he has done, I have confidence that Anna will make sure he is properly castrated!!

Ok, this is the bit where I have to sell myself. Why is it so much easier to write about sexy blokes! Anyway.

I am a British author, from the depths of the rural countryside near London. In a previous life, I was an Accountant from the age of twenty-one. I still do that on occasions, but most of my life is now spent intermingling writing while looking after my husband, two children and two cats (probably in the inverse order to the one listed!). When I have some spare time I can also be found writing poetry, baking cakes (and eating them), or behind a camera snapping like a mad paparazzi.

In 2015 I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. It was also around this time that I became one of the founding members of a dramatic/erotic/dark roleplaying group on Twitter. It was wildly popular with both English and American followers. The writing helped me to overcome my depression by giving me an outlet to channel my thoughts into and not sit around worrying all day about things that would never happen. I took over responsibility for management of the group and responsibility for the development of our storylines. As well as playing at least ten different characters in the group ranging from an innocent virgin, bloodthirsty assassin and even a male lover. The success of the role-play spurred me on to writing novels.

I have a love of travelling and like to bring this to my stories to give them the air of reality. Surrendered Control, my first book released in November 2016, combines two of my favourite travel destinations. India is where I lived for eighteen months with my husband and two children. My young son was only six months old when we travelled there. It was a fabulous time for us all and they learnt so much about the differing cultures, as well as, much to my husband’s chagrin, spending lots of money in the silk shops. The Control series will feature lots of international travel.

I have always been an avid reader. Mainly murder mystery in the past but with Beautiful Bastard I discovered a whole new set of novels and I haven’t looked back since. I like my heroes hot and hunky with a dirty mouth. My heroines demure but with spunk. And my books in a kick arse series.

Hi! My name is Tricia Andersen. I write all sorts of genres with mostly have to do with MMA. When I’m not writing I am a crazy wrestling/track mom who likes to do Jiu Jitsu and hang out at her favorite bookstore.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I love to write on my loveseat in my living room. I usually don’t need food but I must have a cup of coffee.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

I love getting to talk with readers and other authors. It takes a bit to get out of my shell, but once I do I don’t stop talking.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

Karen Marie Moning. She’s my fave. ❤️

What author would you love to write with?

Patricia Briggs. I think our story styles could mesh.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

I can’t remember which event it was but the first time a reader came up to me and told me they knew me and loved my books was the best moment ever. It was probably the first time I really felt like an author.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

Lately, my kids have had a lot of events and band practices so I’ve mastered the ability to write in my car. While I don’t usually have food with me in the car, I almost always can count on one of my kids to have a pack of gum on them.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

My favorite thing about attending signings is getting to meet readers and other authors in person. Sometimes we talk to a person online for years before getting the pleasure of meeting them face-to-face and those are always great moments.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

Linda Howard is my favorite author ever, and I’m dying for a chance to meet her one day. I reread her books every year and can never get enough of them.

What author would you love to write with?

My author pal Carly Bloom is such a great writer and we share a similar sense of humor. I’d love to write something with her one day, though I suspect we’d end up laughing a lot more than writing.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

Last year I was asked to go to my publisher’s warehouse and sign hundreds of copies of my books at one time. And then, as the guest author, I got to sign their wall. That was pretty fun.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Two author friends, who go by the name Elizabeth Hayley, tagged me on Facebook about possibly reading their friends new book. Hey, I love those ladies and their books crack me up so if THEY are in love with someone then I will love them too, Right?? I reached out to the author and asked for an advanced copy. OMG am I glad I did. I was laughing soooo hard at some many different lines in the book. I was even texting my friend/blogger/bestie Melinda with lines saying “you have gotta read this book”……
So this story begins with our main character at the bar with her besties Gina and Dale celebrating her birthday. She sees a hottie checking her out but decides against it. She strolls to the bathroom when said hottie finds her annnnd is not so hot….more slimey gross. Well she tries to shake him but he won’t take the hint so a Southern Gentleman plays the part of her “boyfriend” to make slime ball take the hint. Well another situation arises and Mr. Southern Gentleman needs her help again so she ends up lip locking him AGAIN!!!! Well Gina and Dale dare our girl to follow Mr. Southern Gentleman down the hallway to jump his bones but instead she sees slime ball getting killed. Well she runs and gets attacked by Jake, the Southern Gentleman but escapes him. She goes to the police station to report the murder but GASP Mr. Southern Gentleman appears and GASP he is a FEDERAL AGENT!!!!
SOOO Jake and our newly named Emily go into the Witness Protection to help take down Slime Balls killer. Well the chemistry between the two is awesome and she pretty much pouts and offers a no strings attached night but dang it if the bad guys don’t find them. So Jake and Emily go off radar. Jake is hiding Emily without the FBI’s approval. He takes her in to Deliverance country to hide out with his family. They are supposed to be boyfriend/girlfriend…… Which is news to Emily because they fight NONSTOP!!! Which makes the book insanely funny and fullllllll of sexual tension.
So while hiding out Emily and Jake fight over her jealousy of his ex, his jealousy of her flirting, her not being able to be domestic at all, him being overly alpha at every turn of the second hand on your watch, her only thinking about herself, him not taking her feelings into consideration, and on and on and on!! Now sometimes when I read a book like this I am like “seriously, enough already” but not once in this entire novel did I feel bored with them. I was in love with the characters and the story. I was shocked at how fast I flew through this book. I was so busy reading that when I hit 45% I was stunned and then next thing I knew I was at 88%. I mean WHERE DID IT GO!!! The story was just flying by and I wanted to know what would happened but I didn’t want the story to end.
The epilogue made me really happy and laugh a lot. The epilogue had everything about the story you wanted to know…like about the boys, the ex, Junior, Henry and Floss and the rest of the town you have come to love.
The story has so many twist and turns. It is soo full of sexual innuendo and sexual chemistry. I yelled at both characters while also yelling with them at the other person. I have to tell you I CANNOT wait for more from this author and this series.

I love Paranormal add the fact it’s a quick novella and I am allll over that

Hannah and Tanner are both tired of being alone.  Hannah fears spending the rest of her life as a pack spinster.  Tanner fears being alone because he is just too “different” from the other wolves in his pack.

When meddling pack members get involved and bring Tanner to Hannah’s pack for the early scenting ceremony no one knew what they were starting.  It seems fate and the Gods are also at play for Tanner and Hannah.

Hannah wants Tanner but is not just gonna be the good little mate and take is mating mark without laying down the rules.  Unfortunately, they get side tracked and the bad guys swoop in stealing Hannah.

I loved the twist of this paranormal shifter story.  I loved the Norse Gods and their mythology being brought forth into the story.  I am going to grab another book in the series to see if they continue to Tanner/Hannah story because if so this Pack has some trouble coming their way.

Rocky Mountain Meltdown by Harley Easton

This was a sweet and quick read.  The story is about an author who along with her rival are checked into a ski resort for the weekend of writing and working.

Tessa is none to thrilled for the burly lumberjack, Bryce, who seems to keep judging her but is thankful for the hot as heck ski instructor, Kevin….or is she.

It seems our burly and grumpy lumberjack has a few secrets in the closet in regard to Tessa and her writing.

The story made me laugh at the antics of our rival author because who doesn’t love to see an enemy get their much deserved paybacks!  But seeing the connection between Bryce and Tessa develop and the ending chapter was a sweet ending to the story.

This story was probably my favorite of the set of stories.

Eva was left her uncle’s diner in a small rafting town.  Eva is quite happy to live her life in solitude because she doesn’t feel she is good enough to be with the person she really desires.  Her fear and insecurity make her push him away at every turn.

Charlie is the owner of the main rafting group in the area and he is head over heals for Eva.  He has no idea what he did in the past to make her run but he is dead set on claiming her for the new year.

The couple have major issues because Eva thinks so many wrong things about Charlie is doesn’t really believe him when he tells her the truth.  When a scary situation with Charlie makes Eva run to help him, she slow opens her heart to what he might be….a really good guy.

I really enjoyed seeing Eva open up to Charlie and seeing him help her overcome some of her insecurities within herself.

As much as I love the BDSM Genre I always start a new for me Author like I’m stepping into a cold pool, one toe at a time.  That being said I will also say that I am so very glad that I was given this story.

Yes the BDSM scenes are Hot but  they are simply lovely, not on your face hot.

Emma aka Angel  is telling her story, how she feels that she found her true self within this Dom/Sub relationship.

Something that anyone will tell you is,  not every BDSM relationship is the same, it’s like Baskin Robbins with  41 flavors of kink and you totally see that here.

Jordan, Angel’s Dom, is not a Dom that likes to inflect pain of but when Angel wants to try the flogger, he finds a way to give her what she needs while still being the one she relies on.

I adored hearing how Emma and Jordan meet and fall in love.  The struggles that the couple face are struggles that any couple face and the miscommunications that they seem to have sometimes are too.

This story gives me a feeling of truth, finding love is easy holding onto that love is where the work comes in.  I can not wait for the next part in Angel and Jordan’s story.

Hi!!!!
I’m Elena M. Reyes and I write about dirty-talking alphas and the strong women they love. I also love long walks on the beach and margaritas. Actually, all booze is more than okay in my book; except gin. That is a huge no go. Lol

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

Favorite place to write…in the shower. Literally, I get the best ideas in there. As for food, all I need is COFFEE. Lots of it. Like amounts that should be illegal. 😉

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

Meeting people. I enjoy talking with everyone/discussing what we love about the books we read. The genres we enjoy the most–which for me is paranormal–and what is a must read at that moment. BTW it’s a huge surprise to people that I am a paranormal junkie!!! <3

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

KATY EVANS!!!! I lover her. She gave me REMINGTON TATE and that alone is enough of a reason. He is EVERYTHING. <3

What author would you love to write with?

That’s a very hard one, but I will say that the authors I want to work with the most are all my closest friends. I admire these women. See the talent and respect their drive. 🙂

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

The first time a reader asked me for my autograph. I didn’t understand it. Why would they want my signature? Why would they stand in a line for me? That single moment just left me walking on a cloud. Still has me smiling.
