Twinsie Jo’s Review:
HOLY BALLS ON A CRACKER.
I don’t think I can love this series even more. Okay. I lied. This series is by far one of my favourites, if not THE favourite. With each book, I go in blind, not wanting to read the blurb for fear of getting spoilers. It’s been fun doing it this way.
This is the 3rd book in the series and I enjoyed reading Mason’s POV. I just love Samantha and I find myself wanting to be her friend. My heart breaks for her each time something tragic happens.
By the end of this book, I was yelling, demanding that what I thought happened didn’t actually happen. It’s been a long while since I’ve yelled at a book. Thank you, Tijan for that.
Mason and Sam have been through so much. With Logan included, these three can’t seem to catch a break. When a certain something goes down, the guys team up to bring down *shudder* Kate. I can’t stand her. By the end of the book, a part of me did feel sorry for her and I gained respect for Sam when she “saved” her.
Logan…oh Logan. A little secret is revealed by the end of the book and I totally knew it. Not because it was predictable but because I feel like I know Logan and know what he’s thinking. Lol. I can’t believe how much I’ve connected with these characters. I will be sad when the series ends but for now, I’m going to enjoy book 4.

WHAT AN EPIC DB Tyler is!! OMG!! I mean we get a picture of that when we see him and Morgan getting cozy in New York. We also see a glimmer when we see him walk away from a chick at the park knowing she means something to him but when we see his story unravel….I couldn’t kick him in the privates enough!!!
I get that he was devastated by Mia leaving him BUT WOW!! Epic JACKA$$!! He decided that no one will ever hurt him again. He starts hitting the sheets with any warm, available body that agrees to no strings. UNFORTUNATELY He meets a woman who doesn’t agree to his terms and that will cause major problems for him later.
Mia wanted to be a dancer and she leaves the love of her life to pursue her dream. She never gave Tyler a chance to try and make it work..she just walked out. She is now back in the area and looking to make things right and maybe be friends….yeah uhm not gonna happen Mia. Tyler makes sure to wear his super DB suit whenever he knows he will see her.
Life changing drama happens and they are both thrown back to Cherryvile. Tyler and Mia both want to be with the other but fear, hurt and the unknown keeps them at odds. The fight to be together is a long fought one and JUST when we think our couple has found their way back to one another…GAME CHANGERS!!!
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
I am falling hard for the Cook brothers each one seems to be better. I loved Taylor but Tyler is giving him a run for his money. I also enjoyed Mia’s spirit and determination.
Tyler was the playboy and moving up in the corporate world. He had his one love and she broke him when she decided to follow her dreams and leave him behind. He would never give his heart away again only of relationship he was involved in was a no strings attached one. He even got involved with someone he knew was off limits but couldn’t say no to. That is until he found out his only one love was back in town.
Mia had the lead in the Nutcracker; she finally made her dreams come true. Except she was still missing something, Tyler she regretted leaving him and seeing him again brought it all back. She started to let her walls down and let him back in. Now that they reconnected could things were. Both had grown up and taken different paths. Could Mia deal with Tyler and his past mistakes or would it be their demise.
Watching Tyler and Mia get a second chance at love was heartwarming. Loved watching the time they were able to spend together while in Cherryville. The Epilogue was the best I enjoyed seeing how things played out and ended up for the best. I also enjoyed seeing how Taylor, Morgan and their family were doing. Watching Garrett and Mia’s bother/sister relationship was amazing to know that no matter what was going on Garrett was always there for Mia either pushing her to do her best or giving her advice when she needed it. These boys get better and better with each book and I cannot wait for Trevor and Sharron’s story.

“I felt every thing that Tyler and Mia felt. Every up and down, every smile, every tear, every laugh and every anger. This book literally ripped my heart out, put it in a heavy duty blender on high and then pieced it back together again. I love second chance books and this one just moved to the top of that list.” ~Tabitha (Amazeballs Book Reviews)
“I am falling hard for the Cook brothers each one seems to be better. I loved Taylor but Tyler is giving him a run for his money. I also enjoyed Mia’s spirit and determination.” ~Melinda (Twinsie Talk Book Reviews)

Synopsis:
*Dreamy Sigh* I just love me a nerd covered in Tats……Dylan always made me kinda give him an extra long stare when I was reading the other 2 books. The nerdy quiet McCain boy who had glasses and works on model cars made me wonder what he was “really like”. Well imagine my surprise to find out he is my future book boyfriend!!!! Sorry I read this first so I have staked my claim!! *hand over Michelle’s mouth when she tells me to share him*Ladies I don’t share!!!
Dylan has had his heart stomped on. It seems his ex didn’t appreciate the nice guy and romantic in him. She wanted a guy to be unappreciative of all she had to offer…. SMH, Classic wanting to tame the bad boy….Doesn’t she know they are bad for a reason?? Oh well her loss!! Well Dylan decided to NOT be the good boy but a jerk….WELLL If he can follow through with it anyway!!
Bea will not fall for love every again. Anytime she believes in someone, they hurt her or stomp on her heart. Nope love ‘em and leave ‘em is her style. When she meets Dylan she is climbing him like a monkey to a tree. Dylan was a bit freaked out with this but he was ok with it too…..what guy wouldn’t be???
The two start a friends with benefits relationship but have to keep it on the DL since they work together…oh yeah that was awkward as heck when your booty call is becoming your work mate and possible future boss!!
As Dylan tried to deny it, he is falling for Bea and her sass. As much as Bea tried to push him away, she cannot be without Dylan. When life gets in the way and Bea has to deal with her family and her past, Dylan is her rock. Dylan’s good guy is winning her over one kiss at a time…..Sigh…….
I will say there were times when I was ready to throat punch Bea because WHY is she acting this way towards Dylan and his offers of love and hope. *Sob* be ready for her story….as she slowly unfolds it you will understand and see why she is so slow to trust and put hope in anyone that could hurt her.
I received a copy of the book for an honest review.
I have been waiting for Bea and Dylan’s story since Love Rekindled. As much grief as Bea gave Brad and her spunk I knew this on would not disappoint and boy oh boy was I right. I loved Dylan’s caring side and Bea was spunky and sassy.
Dylan was getting over an ex that stated he was too much of a nice guy and she needed a bad boy. He was the nice guy on the inside but on his exterior said tattooed bad boy. Dylan was the brother of the Olympic Swimmer Tanner McCain. Bea was the best friend of Tanner McCain’s girl Piper Ashby. This put both of them at the wedding of Brad Ashby which gave Bea the perfect opportunity to get Dylan where she wanted him…her bed. All was good one night stand and walk away the next day until a few months later they were now co-workers.
Bea was all for having a good time no stirrings attached, relationships were not her thing. Bea didn’t have the best of times growing up she had mommy and daddy issues. Between seeing her dealing with her mom issues and dealing with the stuck up family of her father was heartbreaking. Bea learned to only rely on herself because everyone always let her down.
Watching these two fight their feeling s seeing Dylan deny that he wanted Bea and watching Bea push Dylan away any chance she could I wanted to shake both of them at times. They were like magnets that were pulled together and then spin around and repel. Loved that Dylan went back to his nice guy and was there when Bea needed him and it was great to see a little Alpha peek out at times when he was trying to protect Bea. Both their stories were sad but seeing what Bea went through and to come out standing strong on her own was amazing. Both Dylan and Bea had trust issues they had to overcome but seeing them work through things and watching Dylan be there for Bea through it all was great. I absolutely loved the epilogue but then again I am a sucker for a great epilogue.
EXCERPT:
SYNOPSIS:
The equations are simple.
Piper Ashby + Brad Ashby = Twin Siblings
Brad Ashby + Tanner McCain = Best Friends
Piper Ashby + Tanner McCain = Off limits
Tanner and I abided by the rules. We stayed on our designated sides of the relationship circle.
Ignoring swarming butterflies.
Brushing off skipped heartbeats.
Settling on lingering stares.
Here’s the secret … a hand extended over that invisible line once, exponentially changing the equation. I was convinced we could make our relationship work until Tanner broke the trust he embedded in me from the age of seven.
One deceit of mega proportions and the relationship we built for that short month vanished. I swore never to speak to him again and it’s worked. Until now—two years later, when my brother’s wedding places me face-to-face with the best man—Tanner McCain.
Leaving one equation to be solved. Can love surface twice?

The moment I laid eyes on the new photographer at work, I had his number. Cocky, arrogant and super wealthy—women were eating out of his hand as soon as his tight ass crossed the threshold of our office.
When we were forced to go to Paris together for an assignment, I wasn’t interested in his seductive smile, his sexy accent or his dirty laugh. I wasn’t falling for his charms.
Until I did.
Until Paris.
Until he was kissing me and I was wondering how it happened. Until he was dragging his lips across my skin and I was hoping for more. Paris does funny things to a girl and he might have gotten me naked.
But Paris couldn’t last forever.

The bridge between Kate’s primitive village and Ian’s contemporary world is long and wide. Due to a horrifying event that ends in her self-imposed banishment, Kate finds herself at the mercy of Ian and his friends–the boys of Eden with their unnatural abilities and dark secrets. Kate has no idea if life outside the Village exists, but Ian promises her she will have a future in Eden if she will trust him. With Diana by her side, she takes the first step in faith.
The journey is harsh, full of relentless rainstorms, illness, clandestine troublemakers . . . and no sign of another village. Kate begins to doubt her decision to leave everything she’s ever known behind. When Diana’s daughter, Tabitha, is struck with a sickness that forces Ian to leave them behind and go for help, Kate’s hopelessness soars. But quiet and confident Justin takes the reins in Ian’s absence, and Kate feels a subtle bend toward him. Only then do the secrets surface, leaving Kate in a miserable state of shock as her faith in Ian falters.
Meanwhile, inside the modernized walls of Eden, Ian must face horrific truths about the source of his superhuman qualities. Truths that will test whether Kate can ever trust him again.
As for Kate, will entrusting her heart to a boy from Eden place her in graver danger than ever before? Will Eden finally be enough? Or will her heart continue to ache for something greater?
Be ready to commit because after you finish Breeder and jump into this journey you are going to NEED to ready Master! If you like YA and Dystopian books, then this series is for you. This author has already given you characters that are incredibly relatable in a primitve world that goes perfect with Breeder. Then this journey starts in The Archer and swallows you whole. Kate’s village is nothing in comparison to the technology that Ian’s city has. The further on their journey the more Kate realizes there is a huge difference. There are many, many lies and truths that unfold and has everyone questioning their reasoning and faith. The story is told from Kate’s and Ian’s point of view. I have to say that I was really getting upset with Ian and his friends but then when you get to see where Ian is coming from it made me question exactly how this was going to play out. There are so many twisting paths and huge decisions that they come across that makes even the strongest character question what’s right and wrong. This is a very emotional book. I was all over the place being happy, sad, hurt, confused….I even wanted to shake the author…a little bit, lol!
“Don’t worry. There it is again . I close my eyes, fighting back my tears. Everything I’ve ever known is slowly being swallowed up in this new life I’ve chosen. The future is more of a mystery than ever before. Dangers are everywhere from vicious storms to villains, and I am not to worry.”
“Some rules deserve to be broken, Ian. But think very carefully about which ones are worth it.”
“Death is everywhere; we can’t escape him. We can run away from the Village— run to the ends of the earth and jump off— and it will be he who waits with open arms to catch us every time. I am weary, so weary of watching him take us one by one. It is our true destiny, and there is no end in sight.”
There is a desperation with these characters that absolutely sucks you in and squeezes until the very end. And the cliffhanger…OH THE CLIFFHANGER! I meant what I said. I need to know what happens next!

I received a copy of the book for an honest review.
I have enjoyed River Savages MC books and was excited to read this one. I like when authors change genre to see how they change things up. River Savage has a way with writing sassy females and hot alpha males and this was no different.
Ask me what I know about Hetch…
Ask me what I know about Liberty…
I was laughing so hard when Hetch was listening to Liberty through the shared wall of their apartments. Then things got even better when they had a showdown over Hetch attempting to buy Liberty a drink one night at The Elephant. The moment Liberty put two and two together to realize exactly who Hetch was…PRICE LESS. I loved seeing Hetch take care of Liberty and cried when Liberty wouldn’t leave Hetch’s side. The scene with Liberty and Fox absolutely tore my heart apart. There were ups and downs I was laughing on minute, crying the next, trying to figure out what just happened and how were things going to play out gutted me. I loved watching Hetch bond with Mitch one of the boys from Boys Haven. To watch Hetch deal with all he had to in the past was heart wrenching. Loved the fact that Hetch thought he was helping and protecting Liberty when it was Liberty who was helping to save Hetch when he couldn’t even see what was happening right in front of his eyes. But the question is will their jobs tear them apart and can they survive? Needless to say I cannot wait for more of this series, I’m anxious to read Fox’s story next.
They say moments of clarity hit you hard. Like suddenly a deep understanding smacks you in the face. Your vision becomes unclouded, and a truth that’s been out of your reach rushes at you. It’s in that second your perception of reality becomes so clear you can’t begin to describe it.
Some call it beautiful, some say it can be saddening, some even compare it to the moment your drug of choice washes over you, offering a moment of escape.
I wish I could I say my moment of clarity is an epiphany or some kind of life-defining moment that showed me where my messed-up life is going.
No, my moment hits me as the first wave of the orgasm I’ve been chasing the last few minutes washes over me.
“Fuck, woman, wait for me this time.” His voice pulls me from my haze first, reminding me how messed up I am.
Heat covers my body, not from the life-altering orgasm, but from embarrassment.
Without thinking rationally, I throw my vibrator to the floor and freeze, afraid to move, as a low moan pauses on my lips. The thump of my beating heart, almost syncing in perfect rhythm to the throb drumming between my legs.
Jesus, please tell me he didn’t hear me.
“Don’t go shy on me now, babe.” He half chuckles, half growls, and even though there is a wall between us, the words wash over me; Goose bumps prickle my skin as if his warm breath whispered over me.
Shit.
Shit.
Shit.
Slowly, as if by some freak of nature, apartment nine can see me through the wall, I roll off the bed and find myself on all fours.
Really, Liberty?
Fully committed to my actions, I slowly army crawl my way to the nearest exit.
A strong tap on the wall halts my escape followed by, “You still there?” Another wave of humiliation crashes over me when I take stock of my predicament.
If I don’t get out of here fast, I’ll be drowning in so much embarrassment, nothing will resuscitate me.
Unable to form a coherent thought, and not willing to engage with the pervert, I continue to low crawl my way out of my bedroom and into my bathroom. Closing the door, I stand, and quickly walk to the shower. After turning the faucet on, I strip the rest of my clothes off, then step under the spray of the water.
Jesus, that was close.
I have no idea what I was thinking. In fact, I know I wasn’t. Which scares me even more.
I, Liberty Jenson, would never take risks like this. If asked what prompted this change in me, I’d answer with two things.
Apartment nine.
And a self-appointed sex sabbatical.
It all started when I moved into my new apartment. At first, I was excited, ready for a fresh start. After a messy break-up, which included dealing with a douche ex who didn’t know how to keep his dick in his pants, I needed a new place. Somewhere closer to town this time, secure, and most importantly, affordable. However, finding a place close to the city, which was secure enough to make me feel safe and would still leave me enough money left over from my program director’s wage, proved to be a feat. After searching for five weeks, I was about to give up, accept defeat and move in with my mom and dad again. I mean it wasn’t the worst thing that could happen to a single thirty-year-old woman.
Right?
Luckily for me, I didn’t have to resort to such desperate measures when this place came up two weeks ago. After a quick walk through, I fell in love with the two bedrooms, one bath, and open kitchen living area. I filled out the paperwork, paid my deposit, a month’s rent in advance, and moved in five days later.
Everything seemed perfect.
That was until I realized how paper-thin the walls were between apartments.
It started out subtle, a sneeze in the early evening on my first night here as I settled into bed. A soft murmur of a man’s voice the third night.
But then came the sex.
The hot, wild, filthy sex.
The fourth night in my new apartment, I was woken to the low moans of what I assumed to be a needy woman.
My face heats up remembering the screams, the grunts. The deep baritone of apartment nine’s voice as he told the ‘bitch’ to keep it quiet.
Unsure what to do, I laid silent, listening to my new neighbor fuck some lucky woman into submission.
I’m not going to lie; I wasn’t turned on by it. I was set alight.
I never thought I would be that kind of person, the kind who got off from listening in on someone get off, but something in the way he spoke to her, something in the way he spoke to all the other women since, stirred a new want in me. Soon I found myself seeking out my room for a chance to hear him.
It was wrong.
So wrong.
But it didn’t stop me from wanting it.
The screams.
The deep grunts of pleasure.
I wanted it all.
I wanted it to be me.
“I’m officially going to hell.” I groan under the water, trying to wash the stupidity off me. Stupid would be the nice way of calling me a fucking idiot. And an idiot is what I am. Especially after tonight.
Blurb:
Completely naked.
Austin Pepperdine took an instant shine to the pretty little maid who busted in on his nap. Temporarily taking over security at The Club for his ex-military buddy, he was exhausted most nights and often crashed in one of the empty rooms.
Which was how he wound up naked and pointing a gun at Dana.
Dana Dellaney had just been trying to do her job–and pulling the gun on her was a bit over the top. Granted, she may have overreacted as well, screaming bloody murder, but once Austin covered his shame (his rather impressive shame), she realized he meant no harm. The attraction was instant, and in a place like The Club, it was only time until they were both in that bed, naked.
Austin wasn’t the man she had started out looking for. But, with his kind disposition, disarming good looks and his witty intelligence, Austin might be the best thing for her and Lola.
After all, she was completely done with Ryan Dellaney.
Problem was–no one was sure that Ryan was done with his ex-wife.
