Perfect for fans of Fourth Wing, Game of Thrones, and Handmaids, this stand-alone, steamy, fantasy romance about a human girl and a dominant, dangerous, Dragon Prince is impossible to put down.
Onya doesn’t believe in dragons…
Old lore says that powerful dragons once created Andlang, ruling over it for thousands and thousands of years until man’s greed and cruelty destroyed it all. The dragons are long dead and gone, and now, her world is suffering. Crops are failing, livestock is starving, and the population is dwindling, making fertile women a precious resource—more valuable than gold.
Onya doesn’t believe in fate either…
While her friends talk of marriage and having babies, she dreams of running away. Of a life without the burden of a husband or a child. Not even the Gods can save her when a royal carriage shows up at her homestead, taking her to the Great House of Kings, where she’ll be made a Lady and marry a nobleman—hoping she’ll birth a healthy child.
And it is her duty to comply…
Except, she’d rather be a servant for the rest of her life than an obedient wife and mother. Scheming of ways to escape, Onya creeps around the fortress, only to discover that the golden-eyed, dangerous, chained man in the dungeons has a different plan for her.
Because dragons, and fate, believe in Onya…

Review by Brandy
I received this book for an honest review.
Hey everyone, I hope you are doing well. I got distracted by the description of this new release and
thought I would give it a try. I’m here to tell you all about it.
Onya is a mix of resilient and naïve as hell. She’s had a bit of a rough time growing up but still has
an independent streak a mile wide that helps keep her going when times get even tougher. I
struggled just a smidge with how naïve she is when her home life is not presented as the greatest.
Usually, it seems when people have a rough home life, they have a better sense of self preservation.
You know those moments when you want to yell at a character in a book? I had a few of those with
Onya. Why girl? why? I almost started to wonder if she had a death wish for a moment. Onya is
pretty smart though and sees through most of the lies that other girls take almost as gospel and
stands up for herself which gets her into a lot of trouble with those in charge. She’s not willing to just
go along with what they want her to do which leads to some serious consequences.
The world building is good, and you learn some about their gods and some things about their
culture. It seems to be a Norse religion-based society but not exactly Viking. I am hopeful that if
there is a sequel, we will get more information to help expand on what this book shows us.
For the most part I felt this was a pretty good book. It is what I would call mature PG13 up until about
3/4 of the way through and then you get more adult content but it’s not extremely explicit either. So, if
that’s what you are looking for you are going to be a bit disappointed.
