For some, suffering less is as close to being happy as they’ll ever get.
Alessa Dean is a girl who’s used to suffering.
She was someone’s daughter, sister, niece. She was whole… once.
Now, she’s got nothing left to lose and a choice to make that could change her life forever.
A choice given to her by three men who belong to the Wayward Kraken motorcycle club. Three men who give her a way out and a chance to start over.
Will she take that chance and possibly find the ability to not only love someone else once again, but to love herself?
And maybe, just maybe, suffer less…if only a little.
*This is a Dark Contemporary REVERSE HAREM Romance with moments that will make cringe, laugh, and sometimes cry.*
TRIGGER WARNING: This books contains themes some may find sensitive including: overdose, violence, and attempt of rape.
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Alessa…man her life is not awesome. Its full of everything bad and painful and you just feel for her and her struggles. When she can leave town with the Wayward Kraken MC she jumps. She doesn’t know what will happen, but she knows she will be living a new life from what she had in the town.
This story is not for the weak at heart. Its dark and deals with subject matter that not everyone wants to read. K.B. doesn’t shy away from the difficulty’s life can hand someone. She tackles subject matter like drug addiction, feeling not whole and wanting more than they have. The MC Brothers show Alessa that she too can be whole even with missing parts of herself. They give her love and most of all a family.
The story is not for the faint of heart but it is a great story to make your eyes leak and you cheering for the whole “love to conquer all” philosophy.
