About the Author
Hi there – I’m a Coca-Cola addict. I love peanut m&ms to a fault, and I’m obsessed with Outlander (books and show). I write contemporary romance:#smalltownsweet, rock star romance, and MMA.
When and Why did you start to write?
I’ve always been a writer, on and off, in my life, but I really got started when I saw a man and his young daughter at a small town fair. He seemed like an interesting character and observing him built a story that wouldn’t let me go. I thought if I wrote it down, the story would go away, but another one started, then another, and another. Soon I had five books…and the rest is written history.
What authors do you always read or suggest to others?
River Savage. Meghan March. Jay Crownover. Those are my top ones lately. I also recommend B N Toler and Michelle Warren.
What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?
I was very shy writing sex scenes at first. I got over it. I write very linear – start to finish – and hardly right out of order scenes. I just think of my story in that manner – beginning to end – even if I know the end, I won’t write it out until I’m there. But that’s just me.
What are you working on now?
As I write this, I’m working on edits for Paradise Found: Cain and finalizing my return to the rock stars with an all girl string quartet that can rock it – the 4Gs series, book 1.
When writing are you a pantser or plotter?
Panster mostly, but I have become more of a plotter in the most disorganized outlines even known to womankind. I have to plot a little as I often write series and I hate when I read inconsistency, so I try to be a stickler in my own work for it.
