Solis (Modern Descendants, #2)

Veva Matron is a feisty girl raging with suppressed anger and distrust of men.
Solis Cronus is a blindingly beautiful, Greek god of a guy, who likes to play women.

An electric hatred thunders through each of them about the other until one night, lightning strikes. A world of secrets reveals the destiny of two at odds with one another, and clouds the line between love and hate. Can a lively girl find calm in the stormy tension of a boy made of sunshine and sin?

The mythical tale of Zeus and Hera reignites in this modern interpretation of enemies to lovers. Full of flirty sexual angst and teasing temptation, Solis might be the one man who can extinguish Veva’s angry fire and ignite a different sort of flame: desire.

I received this book from the autor for an honest review.

Ok so Hades I fell in love with and didn’t think anyone could touch him annnd then I met Solis, AKA Son of Zeus and all time player struts by…uhm yeah I followed…LOL

So Veva (AKA Total snatch) is with Persephone after her heartbreak with Hades…sigh….that book…ok back on track.    Veva is not about to fall on love with a man annnnd then *Que the music* in rolls Solis….sin on a stick!!  This girl is not about to fall for some pretty boy player!!   (I love it when enemies fall in love with each other…HELLO Pride and Prejudice people!! )   The banter is always a fun part of the story as we watch these people unwillingly fall in love.

This couple’s love story is hawt and has this amazing chemistry and the burn ….let’s talk about the burn….it’s so slow and agonizing but yet soooo amazing!!  Yes people the slow burn of their story…EEEP.  I think that is a gift of LB’s.  She gives just enough tease and then runs away.

But yes this book will sit as a great read for me that is for sure.

Alter ego of L.B. Dunbar. A writer of mythical tales in the modern world.
