Harper is a strong independent woman with no need to rely on anyone, except of course her best friend. When her best friend decides to leave her and move in with his boyfriend, he moves someone new into the apartment. This may have been the beginning of the end for what Harper thought her life plan was to be. Knox came in and turned her world upside down. I loved the way the characters and their emotions came through in this book. They felt alive and tangible. The story took and unbelievable twist and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what the motive behind Knox’s motives were until near the end. I personally enjoyed the drama and suspense that this story contained. I personally would love to read more from this author. The book was well written and very entertaining.
