#Review #Rockers Fatal Temptations (Fatal Cross Live! Book 2) by Theresa Hissong

My life has meaning again. I’m clean and sober, no longer relying on the poison to keep me going night after night as I perform for thousands. I have everything that I’d dreamed about for years; an amazing band, number one songs, money, and great friends. But there was one thing missing…a woman to call my own.

Presley Pittman is the lead singer for Witch’s Spawn and the opening band on our current tour. I find myself intrigued by the beautiful woman and whatever it is that haunts her. There is something mysterious about her that I can’t put my finger on. It isn’t until I notice a scar on her lip that I ask her about her past. I don’t think I could have ever prepared myself for the pain of her confessions.

She has to grow to be able to live and I’m thankful that she lets me be the man to walk beside her on the road to finding herself. When a possible setback in my own life threatens to restore my demons, I have to make the decision to stay strong so that I can be the man that Presley needs, because her own demons aren’t too far behind…threatening to destroy everything she’s ever known about her past.

What can I say about Ace and Presley? They are AWESOME! Presley has dealt with a lot of crap in her life and Ace has himself where he wants to be, clean and sober. Seeing his band Mate Taylor find love shows that that it can happen. Ace has been drawn to Presley since she and her band started the tour with them.
Presley has major trust issues outside of her band mates, which is totally understandable, but there is something about Ace that makes her want to add him to her trust circle and be with him.
The way these two connect is awesome, she has become the only addiction that he needs and he has become her rock, her safe port in the storm.
I love when Hissong writes any of her rocker books, she has a way of making you feel like you are there on the road with them.
I can’t wait to read more of the band!!
