Author Bio:

A lifelong lover of words and reading, Savannah Verte hasn’t quite figured out what she wants to write when she grows up. Born and raised in the upper Midwest, Savannah’s gypsy spirit and never quit attitude keep her busy and seldom idle. For so many reasons, Savannah considers herself a ‘Contemporary Vagabond’ when it comes to writing and hopes that others find her diverse offerings as enjoyable to read as they are to write.

As the primary owner and driving force behind Eclectic Bard Books she considers herself immensely fortunate to see writing from varied perspectives as she endeavors to publish the authors rostered there. Working with other writers, Savannah gets to expand her horizons every day as someone brings a new idea to the table and the brainstorming begins. There is something addictive about the creative process for her and helping other authors embrace their dreams make hers a reality daily.

That’s the official Savannah, the unofficial version is just a girl who loves experiencing life with every twist and turn it takes. When she was born, she had such fine, light hair that her mother used to tape bows to her head so people would know she was a girl. She’s had a host of crazy unrelated jobs- everything from cake decorator, dry cleaner, and insurance agent to Emergency Room assistant, bartender, crime lab tech and bouncer. Savannah loves air hockey but completely sucks at it. She loves good jazz, good scotch, and antiques but also old rock, a quiet tea, and a tidy home. She’s completely technology impaired and can get it after she’s broken the computer or done it ass-backwards a few times… Thank Gods that there are some amazing meme creators that let her pilfer images or she’d be lost. Lime green is her color, the rhinoceros is her logo & philosophy, and she’s completely mad about seeing new authors try.

#Review #TwinsieForTheDayJordan – Eternal illusion By: KS Haigwood

Eternal Illusion (Eternal Island #3)

Eternal Island weaves its magical enchantments into every one of its people’s hearts. No one, human or immortal, is immune to the fiery touch of love, But trouble begins to brew anew when, with the last arrival, a malignant entity also makes it onto the island. Seeking to settle an old score first, he relies on dark magic in his pursuit to rule the world.
Manipulative and possessing qualities that make him hard to identify, let alone defeat, he can only be sensed by one person. Katrista’s dreams hold the key, but will anyone believe her, or will they allow an illusion to destroy them all?

Review by Jordan

What a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I loved the ending but was constantly torn over my feelings towards some of the characters and their actions. Will made a huge impression with the lengths he went to in order to get Becky’s attention. The story kept me hooked and constantly on edge. And what is to become of poor Embyr? Maybe someday the author will let us into her mind and give us more answers. Only time will tell!

“Far from crazy, but equally as far from normal. There are voices in my head and I occasionally talk to them.” – Kristie Haigwood

K. S. Haigwood is the author of the Save My Soul, Eternal Island and Moonrising series. By day, she is a CNC Machinist, but by night and weekend, she saves the world or destroys it in a single bound, depending on what mood she is in and if she has had her coffee. In addition to being an award winner for the ‘Life Changing Read Award’, she has also been nominated twice for Best Indie Book 2016 in the Paranormal category.

Characterization is one of K.S. Haigwood’s strongest points. You can understand each characters’ predicaments and you can almost foresee their reactions. But. There’s always a but, with this author, because Haigwood can deliver enough twists and turns to turn a tornado on its head. Just as you think you’ve figured where the story is going next, she’s duped you again.

The whole of her novels are littered with good chuckle moments, and even in the darkest hour, the thinnest hint of a silver lining is still visible among the clouds.

Shock therapy for body and soul, delivered at a hundred miles an hour with the humor and charisma of a trendsetter, Haigwood is certain to be hailed the new wonder-drug to cure all ills.

Parker lost it all four years ago. Angry at the world, he’s become an asshole—a bitter shell of the man his family once loved. A recluse, he is now forced to leave his sanctuary in the Florida Keys and become an active member of the real estate developer community he now dominates.
Problem is—he’s all alone and needs a buffer. Someone to draw attention away from him.
“I bought you to be my whore.”

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

What a F%^&ing A$$ I seemed to say to myself every other chapter!!  Yes I loved it but still hated him.  Hendrick Parker is the biggest jacka$$ I have ever read…LOL.  Yes you will hate him and some may not ever like him but his over the top behavior is what drew me to him.  Am I weird and twisted?  Prolly. I mean I love this author’s dark erotica sooo yeah #Glutton  So you have been warned….he  is not a very likeable guy.

Beau is the PERFECT match for Hendrick.  She is sassy.  She is fire.  She has to be to deal with him and his attitude.  The girl has me yelling #GirlPower at times because she is sooooo feisty!  Who doesn’t love that??  She tolerates A LOT from Hendrick because of her money issues and there were times I was like “GURL it isn’t worth all of this!” after using my voodoo doll on him for being such an epic DB!  Now I can’t hate him because I GET what he is doing and the why but still a few good placed nut kicks were called for many times in the book!

So if you are still interested in this book let me tell ya the sex scenes were AMAZING and the banter/chemistry between the two characters was so explosive.  I mean yeah!!  Look out because Hendrick might be an epic ass but the man is a hot ass!

Excerpt

ONE Hendrix

“I’m not hiring a whore,” I all but snarled, pissed at the idiot in front of me. I was tired and stressed; lacked the basic urge to be an understanding individual, much less give the asshole in front of me the benefit of doubt.

Jax, my closest friend since college, had caught me off guard—something that never happened these days.
Nothing surprised me anymore, not since that
night four years ago. The night my entire world stopped.
Fuck. Focus on the here and now.
“Why?” he asked, bringing me away from that dark
path filled with memories—moments frozen in time that never failed to haunt me.
“Answer me.”
The jerk sounded amused—a pit bull with a bone.
He wasn’t going to let it go.
Rubbing a hand down my face, I bit back a tired
groan. “No.”
Of all the moronic crap he could have spewed, I
had not been expecting this; for me to hire someone to play the role of my
girlfriend for the next few months.
“Think about it, Hendrix. It’s legal, safe…” he
ticked each reason off with his fingers “…and, she must sign an NDA to enter into this kind of an agreement. No one will know.”
Slamming back the shot of whiskey in my glass, I
leveled him with a glare. “Get the fuck out.”
“Speak up, man. Your staff went home.” Holding
his now-empty tumbler out in front of him, he twirled the glass atop my desk.
“There’s no one here to judge you. That prim and proper act you put on can be turned off.”
“Is all this a joke to you?” I hissed out from
between clenched teeth. “Am I your amusement for the evening?”
Come off it, Parker. I came here to see the asshole I know, my friend, not this…” he waved his hand
absentmindedly in my direction. “To be honest, I don’t even know who you are
anymore.”
“Then leave.”
“No. Enough with the hiding. Emptiness—”
I slammed my hand down; the cup of pens close to
me tipped over from the impact. “Don’t go there, Jax. Just get up and walk out.
Quit pushing.”
“Jesus, man, what the hell is holding you back? A
memory? Ghost?”
“Enough.”
“Dammit, Hendrix.” He pushed his chair back and
stood to pace the length of my office. Ran a hand roughly through his blonde
hair in agitation. “This…” he pointed a finger between us “… is an intervention. You’re young, successful, rich—own the real estate game in South Florida. Known as an asshole, a shark in the business arena, and that’s gained you quite a desired reputation.” Stopping by the window on the far right, Jax turned and glared. “You have that whole tall, dark, and handsome shit going on with your over six-foot-two stature and brooding charm. People respect you, but
fuck, man, that’s not enough when you’ve forgotten what it’s like to live.”
“I’m content enough.”
Jax scoffed at my response, his hands placed on
the window ledge in front of him. “Content is the equivalent of blah. My friend, you need to rediscover the feel of a woman beneath you. The passion.
The heat between her legs.”
Ignoring his spiel, I shut my laptop off and
stored it. “Still a no on hiring someone just to appease you.”
No matter how desperate I was to pull the
pressure off my persona.
No matter how long it’d been since I dipped my
dick into something tight…wet.
Smirk firmly in place, he walked back over and
grabbed the bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label on my desk. “Prude much, Parker?” He poured himself another fifth and then sipped slowly, all the while studying me with a cocked brow. “And I never once mentioned hiring a whore.”
Pushing my glass toward him, I sat back. “What’s
the difference? Both are paid to keep you company.”
“Sugar babies are where it’s at, my friend. A
mutual exchange of benefits.”
“Answer me this…” Jax nodded “…is money
exchanged?”
“It can be if—”
Holding a hand up, I halted his pathetic excuse.
“And you don’t call that prostitution?”
“Would you say my girlfriend Crystal is a
prostitute?” What would the young woman I met on his boat a few weeks back have to do with anything? “That she’s easy and out to make a quick buck?”
The hell?
“She’s…?” I asked, because Jesus. Was this man
really sitting here in my office telling me he had a live-in play toy? That he bought her? “What kind of barbaric shit is this? How could you do that? What if
word gets out, you idiot.”
“And if it did, so what? I’m not ashamed of her
or us.” His jaw was set tight, and his blue eyes dared me to say anything negative about her. Jax, my easygoing friend, was pissed. Fuming, if the way
his hands were clenched was anything to go by.
“I meant no offense to her, but couldn’t you meet
someone through a more traditional route? Someone who cares about more than just the zeros that decorate your bank balance?” This entire conversation was
giving me a headache, and I rubbed my temples. I was too tired to continue
trying to make sense of this confession.
“And I’ll counter that question with one of my
own.” My mouth opened to protest, but he shook his head before taking another sip of whiskey. His eyes were on mine, unwavering. Looking for something.
“Wouldn’t you rather meet someone and know their intentions up front? No games or playing pretend. A mutual and even exchange.”
Headache now pounding, I pushed back my seat as
if I were standing to leave. “Still not interested—”
Not taking the bait, Jax leaned over the table, a
mischievous look in his eye. “Then let me paint a better picture for you, Parker.” He was about to drop some knowledge on me, and I knew it. Should’ve
seen it coming for miles. “You have two months to find a date for the few events honoring your pompous ass this fall. And before you say that you’ll decline and
hide away on your boat in the Keys, it’s not going to happen. The mayor will not take no for an answer…he and his wife live for these events. To mingle with the rich and arrogant.”
“Would you stop worrying about my life? I’ll be
fine.” Absentmindedly, I ran my fingers across my short beard. My mind still reeled from his admission.
I’d spoken to Crystal that day and was impressed.
In school, and working toward her master’s in psychology, she seemed to have a good head on her shoulders.
Didn’t hurt one bit that the body attached to the
head was downright sexy.
His laughter pulled my attention away from the
memory of the tiny auburn-haired beauty in a bikini. “Admit it, Hendrix, you’recurious.” Tone smug, he had a gloating gleam in his eye.
“Not in the least.”
“So, if I informed you that the account was
already made and you have some hits, you wouldn’t care? I should just shut
everything down?”
My fists clenched in anger. “Are you serious? Do
you have any idea what that could do to my reputation—”
“Let me stop you right there.” Holding out a hand
toward me, Jax dug into his laptop bag on the chair beside him. From inside he pulled out a plain manila folder and pushed it across toward me. “This is all the information you’ll need: contract, company NDA that I signed for you,
health screening information, and what you’ll need to submit. Read it. Sleep on it. Check out the website and the girls’ files available for possible match.”
“I don’t have time for this.”
“Too late. It’s already done.”

#WOTR18 #NewRelease – Prefect Match by Alexis Alvarez

Title: Perfect Match
Author: Alexis Alvarez
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 6, 2017
Cover Artist: Jessica Hildreth
Cover Photographer: Wander Aguiar
Cover Model: Jacob Cooley

She’s the matchmaker…he’s her sexy client. What could go wrong?

Fia Martin has a tough job: Find the perfect woman for arrogant, handsome Dylan Chambers, before her rival can do it––on national television. If Dylan declares her the winner, Fia’s match-making business will skyrocket.

Dylan is picky. He’s smug. He reminds Fia that he doesn’t believe in true love. The dates she sets up for him end in complete disaster. And every time she tells him to behave, he flirts with her shamelessly.

A stolen kiss turns to a night of unbelievable passion and the best sex of her life…but Fia knows that Dylan’s not interested in more than a fling, because he’s still going on dates for the challenge like nothing happened.

When Dylan chooses her competitor’s company for his final dream date in Hawaii, to a woman who looks perfect on paper, Fia figures she can kiss the trophy goodbye. The problem is that she’s about to lose her heart, too…to the one man who’s completely unavailable.

“Well.” He cleared his throat. “So—why don’t you see what I wanted to show you.”
“Okay.” She felt a sudden anxiety. “Um, where is it?”
“Around the wall. Behind that partition. Go past the metal sculptures, and turn right.” He gestured, then stepped in behind her and flipped on the light. It took a while for the overhead fixtures to flash into life, as if the electrons were asleep, dusty, rusty like the sculptures. She could almost hear them sighing and complaining as they warmed up. Something hummed.
Confronted with the fact that she was about to see something dear to him, she felt unaccountably shy, and tried to hide it. “Is a clown going to pop out? Is it that kind of weird performance art? There better not be a clown.”
“There aren’t any clowns.” His voice was taut. He crossed his arms. “Go ahead, then, if you’re so eager.”
“Okay. I’m going.” She looked back at him once, then walked ahead.
She walked forward past the rusted metal amalgamations, meldings of gears and beam shards that did nothing for her but raise questions and disappointment.
When she turned the corner, she sucked in her breath, confronted with things so magnificent that she, at first, didn’t think they were real. A low metal table held a collection of orbs, some of glass, shining, other metal. Different sizes and shapes, some oblong, some spherical, they glowed with a presence, calling her forward. They were otherworldly, gorgeous, strange, and hypnotic. The colors! Such swirls and whorls, like each one was an entire planet, but also maybe something like a seed, a flower, an ocean.
“These—are yours?” They were like the things in his house, the ones she’d admired.
He came up behind her. “Yes.”
“Can I touch?” She felt the raw need to come closer. “God. These are amazing.”
“Every sculpture in here can be touched.”
She reached out to the closest orb. “Can I pick it up?”
“If you can lift it.” His voice held amusement.
She struggled in vain to pick up a large sphere, moved to a smaller, fist-sized one. It was surprisingly heavy, a bowling ball in her palm. “What’s this made of?”
“What’s it made of?” His voice held a smile. “My heart.” But despite the expression, his eyes were ferocious, serious, rapt, as he watched her touch.
She held the small one in both hands, pressed to her chest. “I want it. I want to own this. It’s beautiful.” She looked at it, moved it around to examine all the parts of it. “I don’t want to stop looking at it. I want to eat it. Absorb it. Have it in my house, so I can see it all the time.”
He gave a short laugh, and she could swear that her praise made some tension drain out of him. He looked looser, lighter, like a weight was lifted from him. “Don’t overdo it. Maybe you just like them because you hated Anthony’s stuff so much.”
She shook her head. “No. I could have walked past the Sistine Chapel and I’d still love these.” She put it down and stroked it. “It feels warm! Alive. Smooth. Tingly, sort of. How did you do that? And how do you make it shine?” She tilted her head. “I love the way they catch the light.”
“Secret of the trade,” he said, his voice low. “I’ll never tell.”
“I love them.” The words came all at once, in a rush, and it was true, and she knew it was true. These things, these spheres, they were singing to her, all of them, a wordless tune that hit her in her soul. She looked up and met his eyes. “I love them.” Her voice was hushed.
He smiled, and it lit up the harsh planes of his face, made his eyes glow. “So do I.”
He stepped in and she felt the warmth of his body as he intruded into her personal space, and she leaned in just slightly, as if to encourage him to come further, to keep coming until they were only atoms apart. She smelled his faded cologne and his own masculine scent, mixed with the odor of paint and wood in the warehouse. She could see his tendons when he swallowed. His eyes were gorgeous.
“So we have something in common.” Her voice came out breathy and low.
“A miracle.” He smiled, and his dimple showed. She nearly melted. His face was so close! “Although I think we have more than a few things in common at this point, Fia.”
“I guess we do.” When he reached for her, she didn’t resist, and when he stood her in front of him and undressed her with his eyes first, before unzipping her dress and silently pulling it down the curves of her body, she acquiesced.
The only thing she said was, “Here?” glancing around the vast space, the corners dark and foreboding, as if strange things, colorful magical things might be hiding there, alert and untrustworthy. But the light in the center shone down like a spotlight, accentuating his features and making his eyes shine.
He nodded. “Right here.” He pointed to a chaise lounge under the lights, blue, velvety.
“It’s like we’re on a stage.” She felt as if they were in a strange theater.
“Nobody will watch. It’s just us.” His voice was low. He stripped off his shirt, took off his jeans and boxers. Nude, with the lighting creating highlights and shadows on his body, he looked mysterious, chiseled, a perfect Greek sculpture, each muscle just so, his face gorgeous and powerful.
She slid off her lacy thong and tossed it aside, and faced him, naked. The look in his eyes almost scared her; he was so fierce, so raw.
“You want to play by my rules again?” he murmured, walking around her. He picked up her hair and fisted it, then kissed her neck.
She shuddered at the touch of his lips. “Yes,” she whispered. She stood still, like a statue herself. She wondered if the lights flickered and gleamed on her skin like on his, whether he saw her like a living piece of art, too.
“You want me to be your master again, right here, right now?” His grip tightened on her hair, not painful, but she was definitely aware of his strength.
“Yes.”
At that, he snaked one arm around her flat stomach and pulled her against him. She sucked in a breath when she felt his hard cock pressing into the seam of her ass. With his other hand, he dropped her hair, letting it flow back over her shoulders, and gripped her neck, firmly but not too tightly, and pulled her into his head that way, too. They stood that way for a minute, just breathing, his hands hot on her throat and belly. His cock twitched and she pushed her buttocks back into his body, wanting more.
“Do you trust me?” His voice was low.
“Yes.”
“Completely?”
“Yes.” It was true.
“Good.” He released his grip. “Please go over to the chaise and lie down on your back. Close your eyes.”
She started to vibrate with excitement and felt moisture seep down her thighs. Just imagining what he was going to do, how he might tease her in terrible and delightful ways, made her body hum with eager anticipation.
She walked over, swaying her hips, and arranged herself as gracefully as possible. She shot one look at him before letting her lids shut: He was stalking toward her, that feral look, his body so strong and sexy—that was the last image she captured before she closed her eyes, and that picture stayed floating behind her eyelids, flickering in and out.
Her pulse accelerated as she heard him approach, and she flinched slightly when he touched her hair.
“Relax.” His voice held humor. “I’m not going to hurt you…yet.”
“Dylan?” She squeezed her eyes shut.

Love, hate, anger, and passion collide as the time comes, and the devil demands his due.
I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Oh sister wife!!  The things you do to me!!  The stories that you give me to read…..sigh….just yeah so amazing.

This series has improved me more and more as each book continues.  I most likely look forward to the next book in the series.  But we are not here to discuss Trapper and his hot mess…no ma’am.  We are here to discuss Deacon and Tempest. Holy crap these two!!!

Deacon feels he isn’t a good enough man for her.  He is a broken man who might have been great being the old “it” guy on the team and a former seal but now…he is nothing.

Tempest is always doing.  She is doing for everyone but not for herself.  She has had such a hard life and thinks she might be safe but son learns that not everyone is really your friend.  Seems a foe has slipped in past her and so now she will learn more life lessons!!

These two at times needed a good gut punch or throat punch because they both pushed the other away.  Deacon with his I am not good enough and Tempest with her dang pride….gurl just take a helping hand every now and again!!

I did enjoy the story and the story that went along with.  We get to see more build up for Trapper and see more of our favorites returning to the series.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

This series is becoming one of my favorites. These men tug at my heart the things they have had to overcome and Deacon is no different.  Then there are the women in their life and Tempest is a strong willed hold no bar woman.

Gentry Deacon Hawkins had everything going his way he was the star athlete, Navy SEAL, Hero but then one mission gone wrong and he went to a dark place. The only thing he had left was his brothers, bike and open road….well and a woman named Tempest Adams. He sees his brothers settle down and even though he doesn’t have a desire to settle down well that is until this woman starts to change things for him.

Tempest Adams made a life for herself. She takes care of everyone helps anyone she can. Her family means everything to her and she will protect it with her life. When her life starts to fall apart Deacon is the one that is there to help her pick the pieces up. When her past encroaches on her present she needs to turn to someone. She is closed off and has done everything on her own so it is hard for her to open up and let Deacon in.

I absolutely loved these two they have a connection that only grows throughout the book. The little surprises Chelsea has in store in this book was great.  To see Deacon interact with Tempest’s family had my heart skipping a beat. I’m telling the emotions were front and center in this one it hit me on so many different levels. I have a feeling Trappers is going to tear my heart out and I cannot wait for his story.

One of my favorite lines:

“I am one of a kind and so are you. It’s not about who you look like, who you act like, but rather who you are when no one’s watching.”

Ramblings from Beneath the Sheets“This is a really fabulous addition to the MC series from Chelsea.”

Spunky-n-Sassy “This read was beautiful. So much passion and fight for life. A total must read.”

#WOTR18 #review #TwinsieForTheDayJordan – On the Plus Side by Alison Bliss

On the Plus Side (A Perfect Fit #2)

The second book in a laugh-out-loud new contemporary romance series from Alison Bliss!

Big girls don’t cry. They go after what they want.

Thanks to her bangin’ curves, Valerie Carmichael has always turned heads-with the exception of seriously sexy Logan Mathis. Just Valerie’s luck that the object of her lust-filled affection is also best friends with her overprotective brother. But Valerie’s determined to get Logan’s attention . . . even if it means telling a teeny little lie to get a job at his new bar.

Logan can’t remember a time when Valerie didn’t secretly fuel all his hottest fantasies. Now the curvaceous she-devil is working behind his bar, tempting him every damn night. It’s only when he finds Valerie’s naughty things-to-do list that Logan decides to break every rule in the book-by making each red-hot deed a reality.

No one warned them that they were going to fall this hard. And no one warned them that sometimes the smallest secrets can have the biggest consequences.

Review by Jordan

What a crazy story about childhood crushes! Who would think that Valerie’s childhood crush, Logan, could possibly be harboring feelings for her? Love can be a fickle thing, but Valerie’s brother can be a whole different obstacle if they choose to explore what this relationship could become. I love Valerie instantly when I began reading this story. I felt like her personality jumps off the pages and her charisma pulls you in. I could not put this book down. I was dragged in by each page I turned and I was dying to see if Logan and Valerie would truly have their happily ever after or not. Definitely two thumbs up and I can’t wait to see what else may be in store for these two.

As the youngest of five girls, Alison Bliss has never turned down a challenge…or been called by the right name. Her writing career may have started out as a dare by one of her sisters, but Alison hasn’t put her pen down since.

She grew up on a small island off the Texas Gulf Coast, where most of her childhood vacations consisted of camping or hunting trips to the deer lease. Although she’ll always be a Texan at heart, Alison currently resides in the Midwest with her Iowa farm-boy husband and their two sons. With so much testosterone in her home, it’s no wonder she writes “girl books.”

She’s an animal lover, a closet video game enthusiast, and believes the best way to know if someone is your soul mate is by canoeing with them because if you both make it back alive, it’s obviously meant to be. Alison’s an avid romance reader who enjoys penning the type of books she loves to read most: fun, steamy love stories with heart, heat, laughter, and usually a cowboy or two. As she calls it, “Romance…with a sense of humor.”

#Review – Character Flaws by Sierra Hill

Character Flaws

Joey:
They say you never get a second chance at a first impression. That is, unless you’re my gorgeous temporary neighbor.
My first impression of Theo Crawford was anything but wonderful. He was discourteous, anti-social, and a drunken mess.
My second impression wasn’t much better when he inconsiderately woke me on a Sunday morning.
But by my third impression, my views toward Theo began to soften. Maybe he isn’t as bad as he seems.
And now? Well, let’s just say my defective heart doesn’t care that he’s gay, because I’ve fallen for him.

Theo:
Wait, what? I’m not gay.
Where the hell did she get that impression?

I receive this book from the author for an honest review.

HILARIOUS!!  This book was a great and ideal read for me who was having heavy personal days!!  This book gave me that quick 5-minute breath away from my troubles!!

Theo and Joey have some great banter and the chemistry was amazing.  I mean I kept laughing and then just wishing for a kiss already!

Joey is a teacher who is not loving her life and career.  When her neighbor has someone move in Joey sighs inwardly that all the good ones are gay except……………………………

Theo moves in with his friend for a few months after a break up.  When he sees Joey he is all for hanging out with her to get to know her in a more “neighborly” way….LOL

There are some miscommunications and misunderstanding since ya know Joey thinks Theo is gay when he is sooooo not!!!   Seriously such great reading fun.

If you have read a Sierra book be ready to see a different style of writing from her!!

Sierra Hill wrote her first full-length romance after a corporate acquisition led her to a stint of unemployment, offering her some quality writing time.

She loves writing about the fictional characters that live in her brain who constantly shout for their own love story to be told.

Sierra resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of twenty years and her long-haired, German Shepherd. She is currently working on her next book.

Thanks for reading and reviewing her books. Keep the passion alive!

#Review #TwinsieForTheDayJordan – Good Side of Sin (Save My Soul #3) by K.S. Haigwood

Good Side of Sin (Save My Soul, #3)

Josselyn has just spent the last three months in intense Line of Defense training so she could join Malcolm’s search party. Little did she know the archangels had no intention of letting her bring back into Heaven an angel who had opened a portal between Heaven and Hell, at least not before saving God’s creations from the tight grasp of Lucifer first.
Three months have passed since the angel Rhyan released nine repented demons from Hell, and now innocent people are dying, but their souls are not going to Heaven. Josselyn’s mission is to find the demon responsible for stealing the souls and bring it to justice before Lucifer gains enough power to rise and claim Heaven and earth as his own.
Her whole world is shaken when she discovers what tool Lucifer is using to track down the one key to the release of his eternal damnation. Thoros is one half-souled immortal she prayed she would never see again. The ex-Prince of Lust had stolen her heart and crushed it with a cheeky smile. Now, not only is she being forced to put her damaged ego aside and face the only man that has ever hurt her, but she has to work with him in order to complete her assignment.
Is she strong enough to keep from falling in love with him again? Or is their love the only thing that can keep Lucifer from getting the one thing he wants most? Heaven.

Review by Jordan

What could possibly happen when an angel and a demon are soulmates? The over whelming turmoil that the characters are dragged through kept me completely hooked. I kept pulling for them to find a way to be together. You know what they say opposites attract, however these two are as opposite as can be! Where Josselyn is as pure as an angel can be, Thoros is well not, just as you would expect from an ex demon. The ups and downs and constant surprises are what pull you in to the story and don’t let you go. I didn’t want to put the book down in hopes of what would come next. I loved the story almost as much as I love Thoros.
