What an awesome surprise!!  I legit was clapping so hard when I got this ARC.  I love love love this addition to the series.  This book shows so much love and relationship growth from Sir and Brie but also from the entire gang.

First up, Rytsar is the best in this book and I so want this heart to be won by someone but at the same time selfish me wants him to stay with Brie and Sir.  I mean they are a hot threesome when they scene together.  But his and Samantha’s moment made my heart flutter.  Samantha needs to do some serious reflections about her life and choices.

Sir….he was so destroyed by the holiday but seeing him embrace the traditions again and even adding his family flair was perfect.  He truly is a generous Master to Brie but also to all the people he calls his family.

What???  Does Lea have a love interest??  Did we see a love connection in the making???  I mean I am ok with that and so can’t wait to read more of her and HIM!!!

Oh Mary, *Sigh* I love you and want you to figure your life out.

Brie and Hope are the heart of this book.  Hope is experiencing her family and all the love they have for each other.  Brie and her overwhelming love just shine in this book.  There are so many scenes where we see the old naïve sub but then to see her shining as a confident, married, collared sub.  It just makes me want to go back and reread the entire series again!!!

The short glimpses into the other Doms and Subs we have grown to love in the series made this holiday loving girl happy.  The Training Center scenes were the BEST.  Be ready for some hawt reads!!!

LAWD!!  Luther!!!  YES PLEASE and gimme more!!

This book has so much happening, so you better be ready because right when you THINK you know. You find out you are so wrong.

Much like alllllll of JM’s books there is a lot of sexy time happening but there is also lot of emotional chemistry bring built between Luther and his pet, Lexi.

Lexi has an idiot of a brother, Charlie, whose bad decisions push her into a corner.  She ends up joining a club to help repay his debt.  While working at the club, she is also spending time with Luther on the side…the same made who wants her brother dead.  Poor girl!  But the attraction she has to both Luther and her Club Master is CRAZY which totally confused our girl.  Too bad that isn’t the only confusion she will be having in this story.

There are so many plot twists and “Who the hell do you trust” questions in this story.  I mean I was messaging JM with guesses because I was so confused with who was good and who was bad but in a good way…OK SO I was wanting spoilers because the stress of not knowing was killing me!!!

I will say this is probably the very first book of hers where I was so in love with both men in Lexi’s life I wasn’t sure who I wanted her with PLUS the twist of Lexi’s life choices had me going “WHAT!!!” and “Oh SNAP!!”

Friends this book is intense.  You will need to sit and read it the entire day. You will not be able to stop because when I stopped to make lunch, I ended up burning it in the oven due to the fact I COULD NOT STOP READING!!!

SO yeah, if you are a fan of her books you will not be disappointed with Luther.  He is everything you love about her alphas and her anti-heroes.

Jane Charles. I live in the Midwest with my hubby who is a former marine and police officer. I wasn’t always a reader, but when I was sixteen and stuck in the car driving back from Florida, I started reading the romance my sister had brought on vacation and fell in love. When I’m not writing, I spend a lot of time at the local community theatres where I head up hair and makeup on an average of five to six shows a year. But my true theatre passion is directing and cannot wait for the next opportunity to sink my teeth into a script and watch characters come alive.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

My home office or out on the patio when the weather is nice, as in no snow or ice. Fall outside is my favorite. It’s not so much food that I need, but coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

First, meeting readers and second, spending time with authors that I only talk to through social media. It’s just really great to connect in person and not through a computer screen.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

If he were alive, Tom Clancy. Even though he doesn’t romances, his Jack Ryan series is a favorite.

Tammy Falkner. We’ve been critique partners, but we’ve never written together.

When you are writing, do you have a consistent schedule where you write every day at the same time or are you a sit and go on different days to get it done kinda person?

I like to write in bursts. I need total concentration, music, middle of the night or early morning. No set routine, but have a word count goal every day.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

Meeting my sexy, handsome narrator and spending the day with him in Nashville.

Do you have a book that is your most prized possession? What is it and why is it so amazing?

I own a couple of First Additions of Sir Richard Burton’s Arabian Knights. I’m a fan, and working on a historical book with him as the hero character (based on).

I love me some Zombie books.  They are the best. This series did not let me down.  I have previously read book 2 in the series so I was excited to jump into book 1.  Since this book was about a different cast of characters it didn’t matter the order to which you read but seeing as this book does explain the why of the outbreak, I would recommend reading it first.  The characters in this story will cross over into other books with the characters from the next books…did that make sense??  LOL

This book is about brothers, Zeke and Ty, with Zeke’s girlfriend Natalie rounding out the main characters.   The trio is watching the events of the flu epidemic followed by some dirty deeds with the cities drinking water.

The book is fast paced with lots of sext times in the reading as well.  It’s a short novella but you get to see the beginning of the what happened when the city went to hell very quickly during the 4th of July celebration!!

Zombies make my heart so happy. When my blog got a request to share this books release, I was super excited and reached out to ask for a review copy. OMG am I so happy I did. This book hits all my zombie book expectations…..Zombie encounters, feisty heroine, alpha hero, and plot twists and turns galore! Man was I loving it and unable to put it down!!!

Our heroine, Bailee, is alone after the world went to crap for a year exactly when she stumbles into the hands of the local military group (and uber alpha bossy Sawyer) during a failed scavenger mission. The men know a secret about Bailee, but Sawyer is kinda interested in our feisty girl and wont follow orders just yet to turn her over to the main operations.

We see a lot of push and pull between Saw and Bailee which creates a lot of chemistry!!! But what also is amazing to read, the ZOMBIE ATTACKS!! Yes folks there are a lot of zombies in the book and many different kinds of zombies….this totally made my heart happy. We’ve got slow zombies. We’ve got fast zombies. We’ve got tracker zombies!!? Yikes!!

The books momentum and flow were great for reading. I mean the group was always under attack or in conflict, so it was very fast paced, and action packed!!

Holy wild ride for us and Claire!!! SO this book ends and we are not sure who is staying in the final 2 guys or who is out…..I am kinda stunned actually by the 2 who remain and the one who was voted out because I SURE would have dumped one over the other.

Claire has a LOT happening in this book.  She goes on mini dates, a trip away date and 2 final dates while all wondering “WHAT IS GOING ON???” and “WHO WILL AMERICA PICK?”  I mean even I was stunned at who America was picking….

We learn a lot about our final two suiters…one thing for sure…neither can keep their pants up for long when Claire is around *Snickers* Ya’ll this is national TV!!!!??? Your mother is watching!!!

When the book is ending, Claire gets some “NEWS” and well, yeah, her opinion about things is soon twisted and leaves her feeling not so happy with the show.

I loved how we get to see the rational for the people who were cut when they were cut.  It made me and Claire understand the why for most everything.  Most of all, I loved the final scene!!!  I loved who she ended up with even if he wasn’t my 1st or 2nd pick!!  He was truly the BEST pick for Claire.

“Nobody puts Baby in a corner.” While you’re more likely to see Jade headbanging instead of Dirty Dancing, she—like Baby—won’t be put in a corner…or a box. So even though you can’t really stick her books in one genre, you could say she mostly writes steamy Contemporary Romance—and, while you’re at it, you’ll notice in her stories that Jade freaking loves Colorado, hard music, coffee, bad words, and CHOCOLATE!!! And so do her characters.

Oh, and there’s always a glimmer of hope…because if life doesn’t have that, what’s the damn point? (
