I bought this book and this is my honest opinion

Essie left her old life in the middle of the night and moved to Chicago never looking back. A year later her new job had her forced to go back to find out what was happening to all these female werewolves that kept going missing. So she found herself taking her gay best friend vampyre back to her hometown to kill these bad guys and try not to run into the alpha who also happens to be her ex. Will she be able to get the job done without any trouble or will she find herself in her exs bed before she leaves town again. This book was amazing so funny especially when you put a guy vampyre and an older granny wolf together its bound to be hilarious and it was definitely a great read.

I bought this book and this my honest opinion

Martin only had one thing on his mind the hunt and the kill, finding women who were married and wanting to cheat on their husbands. He despises those times of woman who did that, ever since  he was a child. Jo was a go forth til the case was solved but with everything in her life crashing and being forced to take vacation time she just wants to do what  she has to do and get the bad guy, especially after getting the call that a woman was found dead in a hotel room. The only real question is will she catch him or will Martin continue to kill to scratch his itch. This was an ok thriller very predictable in my opinion but still made you want to keep reading

Hello! I’m Jennifer Daniels, author of the Opalla Series. I live in Upstate, NY with my husband and son. I grew up in the great Adirondack Mountains. Writing was never on my radar. I always enjoyed writing essay’s in school, but to write a complete book, never! I went on to school and became a nurse. I was also on our local volunteer fire and rescue department. I wish no harm to anyone but I must admit, I’m a bit of a trauma junkie.

Life can be complicated for me as I have an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis or often referred to as AS. It’s an arthritis that effects your sacroiliac (SI) joints. Your SI joints are located at the base of your spine, in short it causes havoc on your life. It’s a disease that there is no cure for. I was diagnosed in my mid-twenties and it has been an up and down battle.

About five years ago I had my second back surgery (with hardware placement) due to all the nerve damage in my right leg, I no longer work in healthcare. One night I was helping my son with his homework and I was having a hard time spelling words. My son told me he wanted to write a book, so we started his book, (that I promise we will finish). But after that day Opalla was born.

I purchased the audio book and ebook deal from Amazon.

SO I will admit, I haven’t read an MC book/series in along time.  When the genre blew up, this girl devoured allllll the books but lately I have just passed when offered books.  Well I have recently become obsessed with Michel’s library of books (Hello Two Ink Minimum is amazing!!) and so I was like OK Lets Do IT!!  SO I grabbed the book and started listening…..FRIENDS!!!  YES!!!!  This book was everything I needed in a story.  Yes its an MC but those elements weren’t overpowered in the story??  Does that make sense.  Yes the club is there and club rules are visible but the characters took the story and my heart.

Josh/Red is a nomad and looking to go home because his father has passed away and his mom needed him at the family ranch.  While he is riding, he sees something in the desert and rushes to see who it is.   He can hear the wild animals getting closer, so he is worried.   What he sees hits him in the gut.  He is looking at a battered and essentially dead woman.

Nova/Roadkill thinks she is being lifted to heaven and is stunned when she opens her eyes in a room.  She is surrounded by strangers and these blue eyes that she remembered from when she was dying.  Nova has no idea what happened or even what her name is hence the club name of Roadkill.

The couple have a great natural building of chemistry.  Red wants to help her while also protect her.  The banter and seriousness of her attack forms a bond that neither is ready for and both try to push away.

Red is the first to realize he wants Nova forever but knows she is a mess and is probably not sure what the club life is like since she got some 2nd hand not particularly true information.

The couple go through a lot like moving to Montana to start a Steel MC Charter club, dealing with that past she had hidden away in her mind, solving some crimes against women, and falling in love.

Red is a no-nonsense guy.  He won’t fight his feelings and is doing everything he can for Nova to realize her place is with him.  Nova hasn’t ever had a real family or had people who generally cared for her, so this new “Family” is confusing and scary.  But Nova is a bad ass chick who embraces the title Property.

I am so excited to read the story of the rest of the characters.  I admit Baldy is the one I am more excited for because his character just screamed at me the most but knowing the next book is Cass, I am stoked!!

Michel Prince is an author who graduated with a bachelor degree in History and Political Science. Michel writes young adult and adult paranormal romance as well as contemporary romance.

With characters yelling “It’s my turn damn it!!!” She tries to explain to them that alas, she can only type a hundred and twenty words a minute and they will have wait their turn. She knows eventually they find their way out of her head and to her fingertips and she looks forward to sharing them with you.

When Michel can suppress the voices in her head she can be found at a scouting event or cheering for her son in a variety of sports. She would like to thank her family for always being in her corner and especially her husband for supporting her every dream and never letting her give up.

Michel is a member of RWA Pro and Midwest Fiction Writers. In 2013 she was awarded Elite Status with Rebel Ink Press. She lives in the Twin Cities with her husband, son, and cat.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Ok so before I start my review, I am going to say Zombie books are my JAM!!!  I mean I love them and get excited when I see one because I LURVE ZOMBIES!!  So because I love this genre I am a bit picky and can tend to be a bit harsh on my reviews.  I want the book to take me away but also be realistic.  This book did an awesome job of both.  I was so impressed with this new to me author and her ability to craft a story that was believable.

Thea and her dad, along with Jason and a group of others have been hiding for years in an old prompt care building.  They are hiding from the dead AND the living.  The Moonlighters and the Knights her dad said are not groups to get involved with.

When tragedy strikes the group, Thea makes the bold and stupid decision to leave ALONE in search of medicine for one of her kids…her family….her reason for being.  She stumbles into the Knights “city” and everything changes for Thea.

Gunner is not happy his fortress has a weakness.  He also is not happy with the spitfire who keeps getting under his nerves.  When the two come to an agreement to help her people is when we meet the really bad people. The Moonlighters.  These are the people who you fear in this kind of world.  The take what isn’t yours kinda people.  The Knights and Thea soon become a team when the Moonlighters again cause strife for Thea and her family.

The story of Gunner and Thea falling in love but also respecting the hell out of each other and their opinions.  I mean he is this strong alpha but tells Thea she wreaks him at every turn because he can’t be without her.  Although he was a bit of a dick one morning with Jason…..REALLY Gunner…just pee on her already!!

The story is so fast paced.  I started reading and was like WTF I am at 50% in the blink of an eye!  The story of family and stress…so much stress in these worlds but also of finding someone who you can love with your entire soul.  Finding someone in this hella crazy world is something you can’t deny or refuse.

The side characters are amazing but Jason…my heart aches for him and Vi because she is hilarious, and I think maybe even a bit crazy.  I pictured Harley Quinn when I read her parts…LOL  do you understand now???

I cannot wait for book 2.  This story says its ends on cliffhanger, but I didn’t think it was terrible.  Its more of a natural, expected continuation to the story.  One I will definitely be reading in March when its released.

I freaking loved this tight ball of sexual tension relationship. Corbin is bound to get under more then Palmer’s skin, he wants all of her and little does he know she wants him too just as much but she’ll never let him know that. When a horrible accident happens sending Corbin into a spiral of drugs, drinking and falling into a black hole, Palmer is the only one who can pull him out of it and bring him back. When her past has the key to bringing him back, but it’s the one secret she isn’t ready to let out of the vault yet. These two are amazing and I just loved them so much.

C.A. Harms is an avid romance and mystery reader. She’s always had a love for books, getting lost in writing and storytelling even as a young girl. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories.

She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes…thankfully.

I was given this book and this is my honest opinion

Every relationship has its issues,  after always having a crush on each other since they were little and after a unforgettable night in Paris, Piper and Jaron. Once back home these two have a lot to figure out but the main thing is they are keeping Paris their secret something that no one can take away from them. Jaron and Piper will have to fight for everything they both know they want but know isnt good for either of them. This once again is a normal story yes it stirs up some emotions from the previous book but that isn’t going to be forgiven and J.M.  knows this just grab your tissues and let the tears flow for a minute and keep on reading. Your going to keep falling in love with these characters and this story.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

When I saw this book, I was curious for a couple of reasons. The first is I wanted to read a book from this author and jumping into series that are already out plus a few deep is hard to do. The other reason is HELLO SHIFTERS…..HELLO DRAGON SHIFTERS. To be honest, I have only read one other series about dragons. I loved the direction/spin she took with her series because it was very different from what I expected.
I will say the world building was slow and a time or two I was a little confused BUT stick with the story because after a while I couldn’t put the book down. I was dying to know about Raven and her dragon Gabriel. My favorite scene is when Gabriel admits how crazy he is for Raven…..this woman brought a powerful dragon to his knees…..sigh……..
The angst between the characters builds and it BURNS people…sooo burns!!! I was so ready, much like Raven, for when they did some “How you doing “ time *Wink wink* Their love story was very sweet and I enjoyed watching them fall for each other while also trying to protect the other.
The curse and the family fall out Gabriel has to over come was crazy intense. Poor guy has a crazy woman and crazy uncle after him!! I mean he can’t live anywhere without having threats to his life!
I am so looking forward to the next book and hanging with Gabriel and Raven again. I am sure Gabriel will be just as possessive over Raven with his brother which is hilarious BUT also trying to find their siblings will be good reads. I wonder how the family will react to the everything Gabriel has to warn them about in regards to their family!
