Sweet Baby Jesus have I been waiting for this book…sorry but after 3person encounter scene in book one I was SOLD!! I needed his book and dang if Sawyer didn’t make us wait and want for him. He has been a mystery. I have waited to see who his heart would fall for and man was it worth the wait. *Sigh*
Bridger owns the salon and seems aloof and shut down emotionally but we have seen, in the afore mentioned scene, how he is caring and concerned. He didn’t want to hurt his friend or take for granted the situation. He really is a good guy but he is just guarded because of what happened to him as a child.
Now our girl….I am really not wanting to tell who because its kinda a secret…I mean Sawyer didn’t tell in the blurb so I am going to call her Miss M. She has a not so understanding family and they pretty much cut her off after some normal teenage type stuff. She is left with no other choice and decided to be a side old lady to a not so great guy. When situation arise, our girl runs. Bridger is there to help her even though he doesn’t know her. The two are such kindred spirits. Both are broken and both are wanting to be loved unconditionally.
For real though…the chemistry of this book….top notch. I was buzzing right along with the characters. I was dying for them both to jump in and take a risk for love!!
