EEEP!! I was so excited to start this book after finishing book 1. I was hoping it would be Christin’s book but loved Steph’s story. I was definitely shocked at her little secret.
Steph is one of Becca’s besties from book 1. She is the sweet, quiet friend Becca relies on. This book we find out that our sweet friend has some skeletons in her closet for sure. One night she is doing her thing when he sees a hottie lumberjack looking guy. She can tell he is different but that won’t get her to make a move. She just admires him and goes home…alone.
James is out with is annoying brothers when he sees this “Vixen”. He needs to know about her but can’t get to her. He is stunned and finds himself stalking that place to see if he can see her again. This is the first woman since………….welll…in a long time to make him for get his tragic past.
Steph’s day job gets her to work for a group of guys to update the company’s software and since she is the best around they hire her. Both James and Steph feel like they are drawn to the other but don’t realize the other from the first night.
When it all comes out…yikes it a mess. They both want more but can’t because they work together plus her secret and his secret cause more issues and drama.
I really liked the story and really hates James DB Brother Jacob. I loved the revenge scene. Cracked me up big time.
I would love to get a book about Joe and Simone because I think they would have a fun time getting together. They have a great chemistry for sure BUT I am dying for Christin and Jude…please please please get me a book with them!!!!
