So it’s been a year since the actions in book 2. Jaz’s friend Rachel has been having a dry spell in the man department since she caught her last boyfriend cheating on her and is feeling lonely.
Gareth is a alpha bear looking to find his mate before his birthday, he also has been trying do deal with the murmuring of Power Shift in his pack.
Rachel decides to use the shifter mating app to find a hook up, while Gareth decides to use it to help find his mate.
When they are matched they are attracted to each other right away.
Rachel tries to fight her growing feeling for Gareth, she doesn’t want to get hurt again, and Gareth knows from the moment that they meet that she is his mate.
It’s funny watching Rachel fight her feelings for the hunky bear and how Gareth tries to go slow so that he doesn’t scare off the lioness with the tower high walls.
Seeing that Power Shift is now growing and inserting itself into other species, makes me wonder who is really pulling the string of the movement. That they are not only concerned with the Lions staying within their species, but that they want bears to stay pure to bears and are willing to kill to make their point, is killing me!!
