#Review #AntiHero – PowerLess: Anti-Hero Game #3 by Chelsea Camaron and Ryan Michele

PowerLess: Anti-Hero Game (Power Chain Book 3)

Failure isn’t an option. Even for her.
She was beautiful.
It was dangerous.
She was fierce.
It made her a target.
She was loyal.
It would be her downfall.
I am Dane Anderson.
I’m powerless to my attraction to her, even if she’s my next job. As a hitman in an underworld she can only fear, I have a reputation to uphold.
She will learn, no matter how innocent she is, I never fail on a job …
Including her.

Goodreads

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Man Oh Man.  I have been waiting for Dane’s book…like WAITING!!!  He so did not disappoint.

We know the bothers :Dane, Pax, Garrett and Dane are not really good guys but they are good bad guys who do good…does that make sense?  Nope and yet we fall in love with them.  They are not “hearts and flowers” until they find that one special lady.  That one person who makes them want more…who makes them want to be more.  Dane so did not let me down in this department!!

Aspen is the best friend a girl could want until the day she does the wrong thing at the wrong time to help her friend.  Then she learns the hard way how life can be even crueler then she thought was possible.  When Aspen goes on the run, her besties boyfriend calls in a marker to have her killed…Que Dane our assassin!!

Friends, this story is amazing.  Seeing these two fight their connection and then give in each knowing more then they are letting on about themselves.  Each wanting to protect the other but not knowing how to do it without ruining what they are building…holy moly.  The deeper we see them falling the more anxiety I had over “how will this all fall apart”.  Then we start to sense something isn’t right…things are changing…the marker is being changed and we gotta know why????  HRMMM was all I kept saying.  When the secrets tumble out…I was like OH SNAP!!

I love love love me some Ellen Sue.  She is the perfect mother for these boys.  I love how she makes them see what they ware too afraid to admit.  I love how she takes the women under her wing and helps them understand what “her boys” are doing is for their benefit.

I will be so sad when the series comes to an end but I am so ready for Garretts book!

USA Today Bestselling Author Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming.

Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream; she realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice.

Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspired her ‘Daddy’s Girls’ series. Her love for reading has sparked a new love for writing and she currently has a few more projects in the works.

When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in.

She hates being serious and is still a big kid at heart. She is a small town country girl enjoying life and, Chelsea hopes that her readers remember not to take life too seriously and to embrace your inner five year old, because five year olds know how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to always have fun.
