One Last Time
I fell in love at seventeen with a girl I thought would someday be my forever. We made plans, only hers didn’t include me. I didn’t think walking away from us would be so easy for her, but it was.
Now she’s back. The problem… I’m still in love with her, and I’m going to prove that we were meant to be if it’s the last thing I do.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I was so excited to read Micha’s book.  I absolutely fell in love with him in Just One More.  He had me cracking up.

Micha was head over heals for Savannah from the first time he saw her at school.  He is so sweet to her and tries to reassure her he is interested in no one but her. I enjoyed seeing the playful side of these two when they are at the cabin. Things are going great with these two but when Micha’s future plans and Savannah’s future plans don’t go down the same path thing end badly. Savannah went back to Utah for collage and Micha’s future was there on the farm. Micha was broken when Savannah made the decision to leave him to chase her dreams and not give things between them a chance.  He refused to open up to and let anyone in again and became a major playboy.

Years later when Savannah moves back to town she realizes quickly the neither she nor Micha are the same people they were when they were kids. She doesn’t think Micha seems to be the kind of guy to settle down anymore. She wants stability in her life now. She has had some hard times since she left Micha. Micha on the other hand didn’t take long to realize what he wanted and pursue what he wanted hard. Can Micha get Savannah to take down her walls and let him in to her life and let him take on some of her burdens?  I love how patient Micha is with Savannah giving her what she needs from him even if she doesn’t realize she needs it.

A few of my favorite quotes:

“I’ll go, but,” he paused by the door “you should know that I’m not going to stop trying. You and me, we’re gonna happen, and there’s not much you can do to stop it.”

“First off, I don’t demand anything from a woman. I give her what she wants willingly. If we were together, I’d be taking care of just as many chores as you. Marriage is a partnership. We’d both benefit, and you’d be treated like a queen.”

I knew that my night would be filled with dreams of the future I once wanted. All those dreams I had for Savannah and I all those years ago were finally coming true, I just needed to get her on board now.
