We are back at one of my favorite fictional places…..Club Genesis!!!!
Mercy O’Conner aka Symoné has been drawn to the beauty of the Dom/sub relationship for a while. She thought that she had found her Master that would teach her the ways of being a good sub. What she actually found was a master manipulator Davis Kerr otherwise known as Master Kerr.
In the last Doms of Genesis book he was kicked out of the club and tried to start his own by poaching members of Genesis, a few of the Masters and their subs went undercover to infiltrate it and actually ended up rescuing a few subs with Symoné being the main one who needed the help after Master Kerr continued to beat her bloody after she had used her safe word.
Now she must deal with Kerr coming threading and stalking her after she filed charges against him, charges that were thrown out.
Master Justice has been watching Symoné since she’s been coming to Genesis, watching because he knows if he got close enough to her to do the things he really wanted his heart couldn’t take it.
Master Justice is Judge Kellan Graham, after saving Mercy when Davis threatens her in the courthouse he gets closers than he intended.
Symoné knows Master Justice, well she knows of him from Genesis, she has been watching him as much as he has her. She thinks that he is the perfect Master to teach her the right way to connect with the submissive within her, however he refuses to and she can’t understand why, After all she just wants a Master of her own.
Symoné is the bratty sub that Master Justice likes, but she is also a threat to his heart and mind.
What happens next is a story of secrets, threats, and love. Will Kerr catch Mercy or will he continue to be one step ahead. Will Kellan give in to his desires? Will Symoné ever find a Master?

I received this book for an honest review.

I fall more and more in love with these Ruthless Rebels with every book.  I have been curious about Skinny and his twin TT. You know these two have not had the greatest time growing up but to hear Skinny’s story is heartbreaking.  My heart went out to Roelyn she found the good in her life only to have it walk away.

Roelyn and Skinny were the light to each other’s darkness but were torn apart when Skinny’s bond to his brother torn him away from Roelyn.  Ten years later the funeral of foster parents brought them full circle. Causing Skinny to see Roelyn again and he is determined to not let her go this time.

Roelyn is a caring and loving woman who is ready to junp in and help at any moment when needed. After she sees Skinny she doesn’t think her heart can survive being shattered by him.

I absolutely love this second chance story. The history that these two have is more than heartbreaking but was able to overcome most together. I loved seeing Skinny’s protective side come out when Roe finds herself in trouble.  Now that I know Skinny’s story I feel the need to know more of TT.

 

 

I received this book from the authors for an honest review.

OH Skinny!!  Man oh man.  I was a bit curious about you and your history but mothering really prepared me for all of it.  The life you lead and the support you had from Roe was the only thing good in your life other then your brother.  When you were forced to leave her, you lost a bit of yourself in the process.  10 years later you refuse to make the same mistake again.

Roe….your kind heart and willingness to help people is what drew you to Whitt/Skinny.  When he left you, you were so alone but forged on and made something of yourself.  When he returned it totally threw you for a loop.

The history of this couple and the why’s they were pulled apart were sad but the theme of family is strong in this book as in all the books by these two authors.  When fate gives them a chance to try and figure out a life, they are both so scared and unsure but once Roe’s life is in danger Whitt steps up and clams what is his and has been his for 10 years!

I loved the story but I really appreciated the set up for Schooled. I think TT’s story is going to be a tough one.  The guilt he carries is pretty dang heavy.

Absolutely love Firebloods!!!!! Such and intense story! It’s so captivating. I never got bored and was constantly trying to find the angle.

Jude has always felt a little off. A little crazy, but she has dealt with it. She is living and doing it the best she knows how. She has four best friends, two of which are guys. She has been best friends with the guys since they were very small. She has an undeniable attraction to Kane, and he with her, but she is adamant about it not going any further than friends as she does not want to ruin her friendship. Jude is working on a science project with her other friend, Frankie. The girls are looking into the existence of Firebloods. This is a race of people that have been injected with the blood of the mythical Phoenix. These characters are awesome! They are normal, everyday teenagers who are always into shenanigans. They are super easy to relate to and I see a little of myself in all of them. Firebloods is a completely different story than anything I have read before. I love this spin on the mythical story of the Phoenix. This is the “keep you on the edge of your seat” type of story. The story is full of twists and turns, trust and secrets, love and lies. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL!

For some reason, the first chapter I thought….oh man…not sure I’m going to like this.  Once Princess got out of jail and went about returning to her “former” life, everything change.  Man….hot, hot, hot….Cruz and Princess. Holy crap!  Two magnets that just draw themselves to each other.  Like Cooper, calling Princess Mommy was heartwarming. Just like Princess kept thinking, there was something more that caused Babs to hate her so much.  The story line to get there took some unexpected twists.  The “Bab’s insider” was not who I thought. WTH!!!??  Princess sure has the guts!  
I look forward to reading at GT and Casey’s relationship in #2.

The four close friends were talking and gossiping at the end of Tilda’s wedding to Lord Abercorn.  Giggles and happiness filled the room.  The girls decided that they had better go to bed and send Tilda to her wedding bed.  Before the girls got to their rooms, thud.  They looked to find their dear friend not moving at the bottom of the stairs dead.  Luci just knew it was the doing of Abercorn.  Ophelia, Luci, and Edith set out to prove it.  Edith was the snoopy, stalker.  To spy on Abercorn, she climbed the tree and found him with an unknown woman.  Edith feel from the tree and landed at the feet of Tristan Torrington.   Tristan got quite a show seeing the fair Edith with her dress over her head.  What a way to start a connection. Yes, sparks flew. 
The girls were determined to pin Tilda’s death on Abercorn.  They just knew he had something to do with her untimely passing.  The twist was Tristan’s ex-fiancé was his step-mother. Esme broke of their engagement and married his father.  Tristan only put up with being in his father’s house only to provide his two sisters with proper chaperoning to be introducted to society.  Horrible Esme was bragging about trying to get pregnant and they knew they would be moved to the country and not able to wed suitable men.
As time past, Edith kept after Abercorn and his actions.  In doing so, she would continue to “bump” into Triston.  Edith was losing her heart to Tristan.  He didn’t know it and thought he wouldn’t be acceptable given his past.  Tristan was losing his heart to Edith and risked his well being to save Edith when she came up missing.  The “bread crumb” trail was left by Edith’s abductor…..the evil Esme.  Of course our hero wins the heart and future of our heroine…our HEA.
I enjoyed the story line and wanted to find out how Abercorn was involved with Tilda’s death.  We still don’t know how he was involved…yet.  With the warped mind of Esme, could it have been her.  Luci is against men that treat women poorly.  Did something happen in her past to provide her with her thought process.  Will Luci’s open up to being able to find her HEA? Will Ophelia find hers?
