Shaw and Willow have quite a lot to overcome in this 2^nd story in their duet.  If you have not read book 1, then stop what you are reading and go buy it.  You need to read book 1 for book 2 to make any kinda sense.

Shaw is desperate to find a way to keep Willow and his sister given what he discovered in the last book.  He needs to keep his Goldilocks near because the news he was told will ruin her and them.  He needs to keep his sister safe because this news will run her sobriety.  She will be gone to him forever because there is no coming back from this!!

Willow knows something is up.  She fears her time with Shaw is drawing close since their contract is coming to a close but she can’t help how she feels.  When Willow opens up and finally tells her heart to Shaw…….AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…..my heart was breaking because we know all.  We know how desperate Shaw is to hear these words and how hearing these words is also killing him on the inside.

The outside world and outside forces AKA Reid, WooDoo eyes, etc do their part is causing drama for our couple.  They do damage to the couple but thankfully Noah is there to help them reset and move forward.  God, do I love me some Noah…yes please to a book for him and Sierra!!  That would be the best reading for sure.

This book was so full of complex emotions and love but backstabbing and denial that definitely cause issues for our couple!!

UGH THIS BOOK!!!!!!

Lick made me so mad that I wanted to throat punch him even though I understood his behavior and I knew what the problem was but still a throat punch was due.

Jenni, omg did I feel for her and want to be her all in the same breath…LOL  I mean his name is Lick for cryin’ out loud! *Wiggles eyes*  She was so sassy n totally pushed Lick in every direction.  Gotta love a strong female!!!

Torrie threated us that we will not love this book but he will redeem himself and man oh man was he right.  Lick had a lot to deal with and a lot to overcome but Sweet Baby Jesus did he take us on an amazing adventure.

If you are like me and thought Sin was amazing, well get ready to be blown away.  Lick knocks it so out of the park. I never imagined I would have felt the way I did throughout this book but I sure did.  I felt it and then some!

Holly crap…this was a great page turner for me.  First of all I don’t usually read anything that is scary but when it’s Bella Jewel I have to read it. If I thought 72 hours was dark and suspenseful wow did Bella crank it up a notch for The Watcher.

Marlie Jacobson was kidnapped and tortured several years ago. She was able to get away from her kidnapper.  Her mother capitalized on her nightmare and published a book tossing Marlie into the spotlight everywhere she went. Now her sister is missing only no one believes her when she says there is foul play involved.

Marlie hires Kenai Michelson a private investigator to help her find her sister. Even though he believes her sister is a runaway agrees to help find her.  To see Marlie and Kenai go on this cat vs mouse type of chase and see how they get to know each other was a great story.  Both have their past they are trying hard not to let the other in on. Marlie holds her past in and never truly told anyone what all she endured with The Watcher.

I loved Marlie she was a strong never give up type of woman. She was able to outsmart The Watcher overcome what she endured and was a stronger smarter woman for it. Kenai was so frustrating to me in the beginning I wasn’t sure if I was going to like him but in the end he won me over.  To see Kenai transform from the cold standoffish brooding man to one that was understanding and protective was amazing to see. This story took me on so may twist and turns just as you thought they were on to something there was something else that would be exposed that blew that thought out of the water. I have to say some of the scenes tested my gag reflexes and Marlie was a strong woman to be able to overcome all she endured.  All in all I have to say I cannot wait for another dark suspenseful mystery from Bella Jewel.

Matthew has been one of my favourite characters since I started writing the Control Series. I’m so happy that I’ve finally got to tell his story. I knew that this story would be darker than the rest and I so glad with the way it has turned it. It is a story of how darkness cannot be allowed to shape you, instead you must use it to allow you to find the light. I really hope you enjoy it.

“Too soon. But earlier you said you were going to take my virginity? What has changed?” There was an angry tone to her voice. She couldn’t understand why not more than half an hour ago he wanted to sleep with her but now he didn’t. Maybe she wasn’t what he wanted? But then the tent in his pants? It was probably just the flogging that turned him on, not Sonia herself. Matthew turned away towards the door.

“I’ll wait outside.”

Tears now stung her eyes, so much for trusting him. So much for thinking she was in love with him and he her. He was probably going to go and get sucked off by someone else while she got dressed. The absolute joy of her orgasm had faded and just left her with a sickness in her stomach. She rose from the bed and reached for her knickers.

“Don’t bother. I’ll get a taxi back. You go and get whatever it is you need from someone out there.”

He was often silent; it gave him an allure of mystery and also of power. Sonia had first met him when he had just finished a workout. He was wearing only a pair of shorts, he was muscular in all the right places, and even his shorts looked they could barely contain his statuesque thighs. His hair had been messed up by the towel he had been drying himself with. I received this book from the author for an honest review.

OMG She did it to me again!!  She shocked me with this book!!  I loved the darkness of the opening prologue and then the mystery that surrounded the story!!  The Who-Done-It was great and a great way to weave the story of Triston and Edith together.

The story begins with 4 friends giggling before their friend’s wedding night.  They were helping her gather the confidence she needed for her new husband.  When suddenly, she is found dead…the three ladies set after to catch her killer.

The story jumps forward and we meet Triston and his awesome dad…please read that with full sarcasm.  Triston sees a woman in the tree but what he really sees is her knickers and well that my friends makes him go and see who this woman is!!  The couple met up a few times and he learns about her through is younger sisters who are entering their 1^st season.

Edith is drawn to Triston because she thinks he may know something due to his association to their friend’s killer.  Each time they meet is more and more inappropriate then the last time.  When they kiss, well things get a little crazy because then Edith is taken and it’s up to Triston and the other friends to find her plus figure out WHO HAS HER!!!!

This book was a super-fast read.  The beginning of the book might be a bit slower than the last half but I think it’s because we are meeting all the suspects and other people of interest for the series.  I cannot wait to read Luci’s book because she is one tough cookie.  She will not fall easily and when she does look out because I think she is going to be not so happy about it!!
