I grabbed this book off Amazon because it was free and I had finished a shifter serial from the author.  I found out that a lot of her characters from her many stories all kind of mingle in nd out so I was excited to give it a try PLUS SHIFTERS make my heart happy.

This is about a group of Dire Wolves that are essentially the hunters/cleaners of the NALB community.  If there is a problem, they are the go to guys.   When President Blaze (from the serial I read) contacts Bez to save an Omega that has been kidnapped.  He jumps.   It seems Omega’s are from the Dire line of Wolves.

When Bez shows up there is a slight problem…there are 2 Omegas, Angelita and Sariel.  He can only take the younger one but he can’t leave the other because welllllll…she is his mate.  Bez doesn’t listen to his head but his heart and it says MINE so Sariel is also grabbed.

The story is all about the two of them dealing with this instant bond/Mating haze.  Bez isn’t such a people person and welllllll, he is screwing up right and left!!  Sariel, God bless her, isn’t afraid even though she should be and soon has this giant MAN eating out of her hand.

The action between Bez and the bad guys was intense.  The chemistry between Sariel and Bez is yummy and thick.  I literally have book downloaded and ready to start tonight!

Returning to the Sutter family is like returning home. Seeing Emma all grown up is wonderful.

Coming homework the summer after being away at school Emma is hiding a lot from her family and when she does tell them she doesn’t tell them everything about why she came home. No one knows the whole truth but her. She doesn’t expect to find the boy of her teenage dreams has come back to town and is all grown up and looking yummy. She wasn’t looking for love, but that is what she found.

Brock wasn’t looking to find someone, he especially wasn’t looking to start dating Emma Sutter. He remembers her as a teen, and now that she is all grown up she just……….. D’Agostino never fails to make me cry, even if she isn’t trying too. Emma and Brock are hot and sweet rolled into one. Nick and Leah are everything they were in their story, but better as parents. When Emma has to explain the real reason she came home for the summer, her parents are unbelievably supportive of her and Brock shows what a true man is by listening and following his heart.

When she goes back to school will they be able to make a long distance relationship work? Are her parents still going to support their relationship or will her dad make it so hard for Brock that he has to quit his job? I’m not telling!!!! However, I will tell you this; if you’ve never read The Shattered Series, which is about Emma’s parents, you can totally read this book. It’s the start of a totally new series and you will not be lost. Im looking forward to the next book and I hope that Mel puts Aaron in his place.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

This book pics right up after Mara is kidnapped by bad villain, Bryant.  Bryant knows something about Mara’s abilities that even Mara doesn’t know she has.  Seems grandpa was hiding some stuff from her.  Ian is going crazy because he didn’t make Mara his mate when he had the chance and believe me is he kicking himself now for being the gentleman!!  He and his rag tag team of friends and frenemies go looking for Mara to save, uncover what she is, plus try to keep it under wraps that Ian is the new alpha of his bear pack.

I love that in every series of Alyssa’s we see characters from her other series.  I loved seeing Casey and Toby and hearing about Vera and Jared.  I love that Bryant is still a bad guy from the first paranormal series Alyssa put 5 years ago until now.

What I wish was different was the fact that it seems like Mara and Ian were apart for so much of the story.  The plot was engaging but I miss my 2 characters being together trying to figure stuff out together.
