A chance meeting brings Melissa and Tyler together when they both stop to help people involved in an accident during a storm. I loved when Melissa nicknamed Tyler “the handsome, bossy, good Samaritan”. As they wait out the storm at a hotel, Tyler and Melissa have a chance to get to know each other. When Tyler learns who Melissa really is, she expects him to run for the hills. Instead, she is surprised when he not only stays but doesn’t judge her for her past.

When Melissa finds herself in danger after an attack she calls Tyler. Tyler doesn’t hesitate and comes running to help her. I absolutely love that, despite Melissa’s past, the guys of Blade and Arrow and their women never hold it against her. They do whatever it takes to protect her and make sure she knows they want her there.

Both Melissa and Tyler have trauma they are working through and neither believes they could ever be loved. I enjoyed the watching these two help each other face their past and find their way toward each other.  Absolutely loved Tayer’s protectiveness over Melissa.  Seeing him defend her when a teammate questioned her was heartwarming.

I have to say the twists and turns in this story kept me fully invested and needing to know what was going to happen next. I also loved the ending of this story although it is hard to see a series end this was a great one.

These audio books are pulling me in and I cannot put this series down. Kat Maxwell did an amazing job these MC men and their women are so addicting.

Amelia was with Roger who was the provider and expected Amelia to know what he wanted when he wanted it. If she didn’t live up to his unsaid expectations, he would beat his expectations into her even tossed her downstairs. Amelia finds herself in the hospital almost losing her babies. When the cavalry arrived to help her get away from Roger.

Cass was sent to retrieve Amelia as a part of an underground railroad system to help women out of bad and deadly situations. Cass finds he is drawn to this beautiful pregnant woman. He wants nothing more than to provide his Lil’ Mama and her babies. Will Lil Mama decide to stay with the MC or will she continue her journey to gain freedom from violence for her and her babies. Amelia meets Cass sister Christy who has demons of her own. I enjoyed seeing this relationship grow as much as I did the one with Lil’ Mama and Cass.

Cass and Lil’ Mama’s relationship is slow but so good. But Cass has to show Lil’ Mama he is capable of a long-term relationship and can be a good dad to her babies. This series is turning into a favorite. Red and Roadkill was good and I enjoyed Cass and Lil’ Mama but next up is Hack. Oh man he captured my attention and do believe he will be my new BBF.

Michael Prince and Wrin McCabe are new to me authors and after listening to roadkill I will definitely be diving into more of this series. Tanner DeBruyne did a wonderful job of keeping me engaged in the story.

Josh Luke AKA red is on his way back home to help his mama out after the death of his father. he decided to take the deserted road and good thing for Nova he did. She was left in a ditch to die. Red was able to fix her up and in the process found he only wanted to protect her more.

Nova is struggling she cannot remember anything not even her name so in true MC fashion she earned her nickname Roadkill. Roadkill has to decide if she will act on her thoughts of running far from the MC or if she will stay and let Red in her heart.

Red is going back home and starting his own mc. Will trying to protect Roadkill, forming a new chapter and dealing with the stress accompanying being the president proved too much for Red. Red and roadkill go through so much on their journey but it makes them stronger and shows them if they can make it or not.

I’m excited to see where this series will go. Most MCs are already established this one we get to see it evolve from the beginning. There are so many characters I am interested in seeing what happens to them and see who will stay, who will go and who will join in the future. I have my eye on one guy right now Hack.

OH MAN!!  This book I have been waiting for!!  WE have seen Becky hiding something from all of us for the last few books.  I admit I was scared, but Teresa made us a promise about what it is not, so that helped relieve my mind a smidge.  But Teresa can also throw crazy curveballs, so I was still nervous.

HOLY HELL I was not expecting this twist and damn it, I was so for it.  I don’t want to spill the amazing storyline because if you love this series, you will wanna read it for yourself.  I will say I am so excited for where this will go and how it will affect all the mates, especially Lana!!!

I do love how Teresa keeps the series fresh and always has the world evolving to keep it interesting for all the long-time readers.

I am very interested in the new doctor and maybe a possible mate match coming in the future.  But my eyes are now on Blaze and Katerina.  I think she is the next Mates book, and her story will be pretty heavy.

Wow! 2 days ago I finished Chasing Riddick and I’m still not sure what to say. My feelings are such a juxtaposition. On the one hand, my heart is heavy af and I wonder how I am supposed to continue on after this traumatic work of fiction. On the other hand I’m at peace with things because NO WAY this story would have been half as good if not for the heart shattering moments that made it that much more addictive.
I went in with limited knowledge since I chose not to finish reading the blurb. I’m not sure if that made the angst worse or not but I do know I was stressed tf out while reading this book. With all of that being said, I will recommend Chasing Riddick to everyone. I’m also adding it to my yearly reread list.
