I was stuck in a dead-end job, with a creep of a boss and in the midst of a quarter-life crisis. So, when members of my former sorority initiated a resolution pact for the new year, I jumped right on that.
My resolution was to break out of the shackles of my boring and safe life and do something bold and daring. But I had no idea how to do that…until he came along.
As luck would have it, Nathaniel Leeds, a brilliant research scientist, was looking for a temporary assistant to help him collect and document data. The job itself didn’t sound all that exciting until I learned that it would involve a road trip.
And then I met my new boss.
And Lord help me, my handsome, Brainiac boss made me hotter than the jungles of Costa Rica.
If I can survive this road trip with my heart intact, I’m resolving never to make another resolution for as long as I live.

So when she was talking to one of her former sisters she gave her the idea to go talk to her cousin who is a research scientist in need of an assistant. So Marin thought why not this is my year this is something I need to do, after the interview she found out she got the job on the spot but it wasn’t just for a road trip it was to go abroad to study the greenhouse effect with her new hunky good looking boss. One can only imagine what happens on the other side of the world with this sexy boss and being out in the wilderness.
Review by Twinsie Dee
Sierra Hill wrote her first full-length romance after a corporate acquisition led her to a stint of unemployment, offering her some quality writing time.
She loves writing about the fictional characters that live in her brain who constantly shout for their own love story to be told.
Sierra resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of twenty years and her long-haired, German Shepherd. She is currently working on her next book.
