This book is about Samantha who meets and starts representing a client named Ryan. She feels a chemistry but thinks it is in her head until she sees him again. When she asks him out to celebrate a mini-victory, the two combust.

After a night of fun Samantha begins to realize she made a huge mistake because she broke ethics rules and can be disbarred. The two have words and stop seeing each other. When Samantha is thinking no one will discover her mistake of judgement, everything comes crashing down.
The story is pretty straight and narrow. You can kinda of see what is going to happen until the last chapters of the book when we get a little twist thrown in. I was like WHOOO DIDN’T SEE THAT.

I liked the story and it has an easy flow about it. If you are fan of her rockers but want to try something different, give it a try.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Holy shit balls!! This book….Jesus!!  Each book gets better and better.  Each book blows me outta the water with the twists and turns.  Each book makes me fall more and more in love with the characters.

When I read book 2, I was sobbing and so emotional because The Seer was violated.  We watched her struggle to get back to where her and Raider were.  So starting this book, I was instantly taken back when we knew Charles was being brought to the pack for Pack Justice.  I was just as worried as Theo about how we felt.  I mean do we want to see him?  Do we want to hide?  Do we want to talk to him?  Do we want to ignore him and not give him out time of day since he took so much of our time during and after the assault??  Seeing Theo realize her inner strength and value to the pack was amazing.  But seeing her mate, Raider Black at her side no matter what….dreamy sigh!!

Dude Theo is a bad ass chick when the Lady (The Pack Goddess) isn’t “with” her but when the Lady shows up…ya’ll I was not ready for the scene.  I was totally for everything that went down in that scene!!   I was so happy and damn proud our girl got HERSELF back.  Our girl was able to let everyone know how formattable she was.  Don’t get me started on how Theo handles Sophia…GROWL!!!

Raider is the most amazing character EVAH!!  I mean his love is fierce and he will do anything for his mate.  His secret surprise for Theo made my heart so weepy.  That fact he loves everything about her no matter that she is a human….swoon!!

The official mating ceremony was a bit of a shock for me as much as it was for Theo.  She was a bit nervous about being on display with the pack and the visiting dignitaries.  However, I was not expecting all that happened to happen.  I am stunned and looking forward to what happened and what that means for Theo, Raid, and The Lady.   But I really wanna know WTF is up Onyx’s ass because that fool is gonna meet an untimely death is my prediction.

Seeing Theo bond with Lore, Issa, Asher, Basil, and the MacGregor Family made me so happy.  But I gotta say I am on pins and needles for Lore and Bayla next book.  I can’t wait for that love story at all.

Holy hawt stuff.  This was my first book by Derek and now I will make sure It is not the last.

I love love love novellas for the quick story you get when you have a couple hours to spare for some reading.  When I saw this book offered by Booksprout, I jumped.

This book is about Tara who is going to take her bestie out for a night away from her Douchey boyfriend. When Tara is running late, she decided a little speeding won’t hurt anyone right??  WRONG!!  She soon meets Officer’s Austin Harris and Tyler Malone.  Office Malone is not having it, but Officer Harris realizes this was the dream girl from high school.  After some chatting and an exchange of numbers, Tara leave to get her friend.

After a disastrous night with her bestie, Tara finds herself in the company Austin and Tyler.   Some drinks and fun games quickly turn into some naughty fun for all involved.  *Wink wink*

I really liked the story and that there was not an insta-love but there was a definite connection/chemistry between Tara and Austin.  I would definitely read more if there was a story for their continued story

Mythology nerd here.  I was mega pumped to read this story because who does not know the love story of Persephone and Hades??

I loved the twist of the story that Demeter, Persephone’s mom, is a politician because weren’t all the mythological Gods essentially politicians???  She hides her daughter away in a mental institution when she is on tour for the Presidential campaign.  She is also a super awesome mom….said no one ever in this book!!

Hades or Ash, is a super great doctor who is flummoxed as to why this patient is constantly locked up with no read diagnosis.  He is also stunned stupid that this patient is also the hottie he picked up at the bar last night for some hot car sex action….whoops!!  That is getting really close and personal with your patients!!!

The couple keep building the chemistry before they erupt, and Ash is fully invested in helping his patient out of the hospital.  A few twists and turns later, and we see Demeter doing her best to derail the couple.  We get a visit from Zeus and well its good to see he is still cheating on his wife Hera….again Mythology you make me so happy!!

I loved the story and look forward to more from the series because again…mythology nerd!!

You sucked me in from the beginning! The emotions felt by Bennett with her father, mother and her love of the sea were raw and real.  It would be years before Bennett would know the truth between her father and mother.  She never saw it coming. I love reading Aly’s books so when she asked if I would read this story about 3 best friends from high school who still are besties 1o years later, I jumped.  She said this wasn’t as much a romance story as a woman’s fiction because it’s the bond of the three ladies : Chloe, Suz, and Tara.

This story starts out with the ladies waiting on Chloe to meet up to start planning their reunion party.  When Chloe bumps into a nice-looking guy who says he wants to help out.  She has ZERO clue who he is and once she discovered it, she runs for the hills.

The story begins to unfold, and Gavin is the most likeable guy in the world.  I mean Tara and Suz love him but see his eyes are only on Chloe. We wonder what the heck is wrong with her and why does she freeze up around him????  As the story progresses and we see Chloe fighting this attraction to Gavin and then WHAMO it is thrown out there and we are stunned!! LEGIT STUNNED!!!  I mean what!!??  T hen when Gavin tells us more about his part in the twist, I loved him even more!!

The story unfolds more and more and we see Chloe and Gavin falling in love.  When we see Gavin trying to help a young girl we wonder about her and the connection they have.  As the story twists again, I had a WHAT!!!! Moment!!  I mean WHOOOOOOOA!  It was a take a breather moment.

Tara and Suz are an utter trip and we see their future HEAs in this story and I cant wait to see Tara and Damien because these two were hilarious!!  There were times in the story when my connection to Chloe was not great.  Actually, there were a few times when I down right didn’t like her as a character.  I felt at time she could be a bit wishy washy and push everyone away.  Gavin and her besties would kinda slap some sense back into her and make her realize what she was doing but I just got a little wary of it.  I am hoping in the following books, since she is in a stable relationship with Gavin, she will be more likeable and relaxed.

Aly Grady is New England born but for more than ten years has enjoyed living and raising her children in the Indianapolis area. Now I am going to start this review out by saying DUDE SCOTT….YUMMMM in so many way.  He is the “bad boy” or is he?  I mean he is the guy every woman wants but is he the player we think he is???  I llllllloved his character and the chemistry between Casey and him.

Casey….Ok so I understood Casey a lot in the book.  Being someone who is divorced I got why she shied away from a relationship right away and was more looking for a good time.  BUT there were times in the book when I wanted to straight punch her in the face and steal Scott away from her because she was an absolute idiot.

Now, are both of these characters flawed?  Yes.  Do they both have some past issues that cause problems for their current situation?? HELL Yes.  But haven’t we all done stupid crap and then wanted to kick our own ass in the end???  UHM YES!!

This story is about Casey, who just got divorced and came home due to lack of funds to live anywhere else. She meets Scott and the chemistry is instant.  We see them flirting and start to wonder if the line will ever get crossed.  Along the way, Casey befriends David, Scott’s cousin, but stays clear of Jim, Scott’s brother from another mother.  Casey also has to deal with the nosy ex sniffing around her and Scott’s blooming relationship and putting “thoughts” into her head.

We see the couple dealing with a lot of problems and sometimes they worked it out correctly and then times…well remember when I said I wanted to punch Casey????  Yeah that stuff happens.  But in the end these two need to decide if what they have is worth it all and worth the risks loving someone is.

Again, I am going to say, Scott is everything in this novel so be ready for him claim a spot in there along with other favorite guys in Jade’s catalog of men.

I purchased this book.

A couple authors I enjoy reading put out books for the Flirt Club through the year and when I saw this one I had to grab it.  I have been reading some looooong books and wanted something light and sexy.  This book hit the bill totally.

Leah started a new job when she meets Dr. Hottie #1 named Chris and Dr. Hottie #2 Brendan.  She is lusting over the guys when she sends her friend an email about said hotties.  Needless to say when the guys find this email she is floored.  Now Leah is thinking she is about to hit the unemployment line buuuut ……errrr….wait they are totally down with the fantasy playing out.  Holy hot mamma.

Now obviously there is some office drama happenings after things HAPPEN but the trio does a great job of setting everything and giving a great little happy ending for the reader.

Vivian Ward is a romance author from St. Louis, Missouri. She pens dark and dirty stories about alpha heroes and strong heroines with emotional HEAs.
