Oh rockers are fun reads…..and this one was a great starter!!

This book is a quick peek into how famous rocker Jett meets and chases fashion photographer Presley.

They are both at a bar for the night, some funny banter and they are starting a “sex addiction” together…snickers……Jett is floored when he realizes that Presley has ZERO CLUE who he is.  This makes him really look at her and what he sees he likes.

He is after her 100% and even pulls a few “low blows” to ensure she will “go on a date with him.”  I loved the stuff he did and how she was so anti-dating a rocker buuuut given her history we understand why.

The end of the story is kind a cliffy but book  2 is out so you can run and download to see what happens after the bug confrontation occurs…..

OH MAN!! I loved Greer in the other series so I was super excited to see that she was going to get her own spin off series.

Greer is a tough as nails woman who is trying to make her own name for herself in spite of having the famous last name that she has.  She wakes up after a night of too much alcohol, hanging with her bestie to find out she followed her brothers play book and posted an Ad…..OMG the ad was classic and soooooo Geer!!  Now needless to say, big brother is not so pleased and neither is her law firm but Cav is very pleased to see his chance to claim his girl has arrived.

Cav let Greer walk 3 years ago and has regretted the decision ever since.  When he reads her ad, he goes and CLAIMS his girl.  Greer is stunned and yet happy to FINALLY have the man who broke her heart.  She will take him for however long he will stay, knowing in the end she will be destroyed.

When the couple get to spend time together in hiding, we get to see this chemistry but the past keeps coming back to haunt them. Greer needs to know WHY and Cav is not ready to tell her the TRUTH!!!  OMG the last chapter…….AHHHH…..WHAT!!  NO!!  And another NO!!  and GASP plus even a BUT BUT BUT!!!!!!  I need to know what happens!!

PS I totally didn’t even mention to you how stinking crazy hot the scenes between Greer and Cav are because HELLO it’s a Meghan book and if you love her then you totally already expect that right???  PERFECT!!

EEEP!!  Romeo!  I gotta tell ya I have been WAITING for his story.  When we got the backstory this summer about him and Lena….EEEPPPP….excited……Have I mentioned I kinda had a thing for Romeo???  I mean tall drink of alpha water, YES PLEASE!!!

So Romeo is Mr. Island.  He is not going to deal with his emotions.  He is just going to compartmentalize them and not think about them.  Thinking about stuff and processing grief just gets you weak, soft and dead.  He is loyal and is going to help his family but he is not going to make a family.  Families and woman are an extra dependent he doesn’t want or need in this Z world.

Lena is a beautiful woman who has been using her looks to get by in the Z world.  Unfortunately the alpha she is currently using for protection can’t seem to understand that it’s over.  Lena is kinda pathetic at times.  She is all weepy and cries but at the same time allows herself to be a victim.

When Lena’s group makes contact with Romeos group, he goes on a mission to find her because he feels bad that he didn’t protect her when the Z virus happened. Lena is super excited because her dream man is coming for her…..or is he????  Romeo needs to help Lena get safe because he feels bad about how everything went down.

When they reconnect there is a stress and confusion because he want her and she wants him but he doesn’t want the complication of a woman in his life….Lemme tell ya…DRAMA!!!  The push and pull between the two is crazy.  He is a mess and she is a mess.  There are times I wanted to throat punch both of them.  I was glad to have Felicia, Lex and Baby there to help the two of them find their way to each other.
