Serial killers versus serial killer in a hot and twisted novella about family games, true love, and competitive carnage by the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Ruinous Love Trilogy.
It’s the annual hunt for Sloane and her vigilante family of serial killers. Track the most cold-blooded psychos imaginable and take them down. This summer’s prey is Allan Munster, a churchgoing chicken farmer who slaughters more than fowl. The rules of the game: Divide into teams, devise a strategy, and make a move—the more cutthroat the better. May the best team win. The players are closing in. All eyes are on Munster. But there’s a hitch in the family sport this year. Someone might be watching them.
Brynne is a fan of velociraptors, the Alien movies (well, most of them), red wine, and wild adventures. She can relate nearly anything you say to a line from the movie Hot Fuzz. She has been trying unsuccessfully for years to convince her husband that they should acquire a pet mink to add to their menagerie of animals (what could possibly go wrong with that plan?!). When not busy writing, Brynne can be found with her husband and son on their family farm in NS, Canada, or enjoying her other passions which include riding horses, reading, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends around a raclette and a bottle of wine.
Quin Hunter likes the quiet life. He runs his gallery, forges famous art, and operates a fence where black market buyers get fakes and the real pieces get returned to their rightful owners. Nice and simple. He doesn’t do field work. But a call from his twin thrusts him into the action, and now he and his brothers are racing the clock to steal a painting from someone who never should have had it in the first place.
Dimitri Crysanthos is no stranger to mistakes. All he wanted to do was make life easier for his sister. Instead, he ended up making everything harder for both of them. With his life and his sister’s hanging in the balance, he has no choice but to do whatever one of the most ruthless men in Amsterdam tells him to do. All Dimitri wants is to stay alive…until a stranger changes everything. Now Dimitri craves something terrifying, something that will put him and his sister in even more danger—his freedom.
The stakes of the heist have changed, and Quin refuses to quit until Dimitri is safe for good. Can the ORCA team get the art and Quin’s fated mate out of Amsterdam, or are the odds too stacked against them?
Full Color is book three in the Organization for the Return of Criminals and Assets (ORCA) series, featuring an orca shifter art forger who isn’t keen on field work, a chameleon shifter with a lucrative secret talent, and a heist where the target is far more valuable than a stolen painting!

Who could possibly lose her job, apartment, and boyfriend in one day?
This girl.
I won’t lie. When my boyfriend took me out for a fancy-shmancy dinner, I was thinking jewelry not “please return your security deposit” the weekend I was moving in. Which, can we just talk about the fact I was going to move in with a long-term boyfriend who wanted a security deposit?
Instead, I got a lecture about not being able to pull my weight and a breakup. In public.
I’m over it. I’m over the good-paying job that kept me trapped in the wrong spot, the fear of moving on…and men. New rule: World Domination Without Men.
Period.
There’s only one thing slowing me down. That cop.
Yeah. Okay, so I may have accidentally broken some laws this weekend. Nothing big. But that hot cop has shown up everywhere. Now he’s living across the street from my new place and doing super hot cop things like cooking and salsa dancing.
I can’t help but wonder: Can I do the Single Girl Takes on the World thing and let Mr. Hottie Officer in or do I need to put him in the slammer of my big picture plan?
Now I just need to decide: Take over the world solo or risk another heartbreak with Officer Hottie?
I want to start by saying RomCom and sweeter romances are not typically my thing. However, I found these stories from Bria and fell in love with them. I also admit her narrator is on point. She makes me feel like “Hey that totally sounds like me and my friend’s reactions” when she tells the story. She is the perfect voice for the women in the series. They are all kinda a fun hot mess if that is possible. LOL
Kasey’s entire world is falling apart. Her boyfriends dumps her…she loses her apartment…she loses her job….I mean what else could do wrong. Oh yeah having to deal with the police a few times in a 24 hour period. Until Kasey rolls into the Brew and John is there like a guardian angel to help her with a couple issues she fears for her current situation.
Kasey meets a great cast of characters like Jessa, Ben, Hailey, Dean and Max….grumpy Max. Max who has seen her in her undies. Max, who is so alpha, he can’t help himself. Max who is also scared to death of sweet Jenna. Those were the best convos!!! LOL Jenna is a sweet evil thing.
Max has seen enough to know Kasey is not the girl for him. She IS the definition of Hot Mess Express and yet he can’t stay away. He is drawn to her with every encounter which makes him so mad at himself. Yet he still makes her dinner and takes her to the movies. Also seeing a jealous Max was kinda fun!!
Kasey refused to look at the reasons why Max does the things he does for her. Until all of a sudden, she can see him for him and that sends her over the edge (due to a couple extra drinks the bartender gave her) into confused heart land.
These two cracked me up. They both are so stubborn to see what could be because they both are NOT into the other for XYZ issues.

Love can be murder, especially when your ex is a serial killer. Don’t miss this spicy new romantic suspense by New York Times, USA Today, and Audible best-selling author Kylie Scott!
Nothing prepared Sidney Walsh for the social awkwardness of having unknowingly dated an infamous killer. She’s doing her best to move on after her ex got dragged off to jail. If only online amateur investigators, his creepy fans and a particularly belligerent cop would leave her alone. Her personal life might be quiet, what with having few friends and the neighbors wanting nothing to do with her. But at least it’s safe. That is until tattooed chef and all-round thirst trap, Noah, moves in next door.
Now Sidney is being asked on dates for the first time in forever, and feeling a dangerous mix of soul-deep connection and red-hot desire. But the darkest moments of her life come crashing back when her ex decides he has unfinished business…her. Will she and Noah make it out alive, and can their love withstand the nightmare of her past?
Addian Hevir doesn’t want a mate, he needs one…to save his clan, and himself before the beast within consumes what’s left of his humanity. As a berserker, it’s only a matter of time before one, or both happen. Time is perilously short.
Fynn Barrow has had more than her share of Mr. Wrongs. A strong, independent Mer-woman, she’s not going to be content with just any man. She needs to be wanted by one who can meet her challenges in return. She’s not interested in playing the damsel in distress, or the dutiful housewife, to anyone.
Gerri confidently pairs them, but it only takes one meeting for them both to have doubts. Can two dominant personalities find the balance to come together before others interfere and send one to their death, and the other back to square one? Or, will it take the imminent threat to drive them where they need to be?
I have had the pleasure of knowing this author for a few years and was like I NEED TO READ HER…so I scrolled through her Goodreads list of books and this book just jumped out at me. I love Paranormal and I Love Shifters sooooo yup I one clicked it and jumped in. I sat on my butt and devoured the book in one sitting.
I have not read a mermaid book, so I was excited to read about Flynn and the Lore in regard to mermaids. I have read about a Berserker or two in paranormal books previously but something about Addain I liked. I think the initial dinner failure was so awkward that I loved it…weird right??? Who loves to read that? Oh, just me!! LOL
Like Addain I think Mermaids are cute little sea creatures but hearing all about Mermaids and then seeing them in action…YIKES New found respect. Flynn is a bad a$$ Lady who will protect what is hers and Addain is ALL Hers!!
Berserkers are pretty intense people. Addain is not initially attracted to Flynn until he sees Her strength and command in situations. Then he realized that maybe, just maybe, this mermaid can handle him and his clan. Ya see, Addian needs to find a mate and find one soon or he will lose his clan to people trying to overthrow him. The couple meet through a specialized dating match maker for paranormal beings.
The reading of their journey to them meeting, getting to know one another, mating and then protecting Addains station in the clan is a quick read but I really did enjoy it. I would love to see Fil get a book because I feel as though she will be a riot!!
A lifelong lover of words and reading, Savannah Verte hasn’t quite figured out what she wants to write when she grows up. Born and raised in the upper Midwest, Savannah’s gypsy spirit and never quit attitude keep her busy and seldom idle. For so many reasons, Savannah considers herself a ‘Contemporary Vagabond’ when it comes to writing and hopes that others find her diverse offerings as enjoyable to read as they are to write.
As the primary owner and driving force behind Eclectic Bard Books she considers herself immensely fortunate to see writing from varied perspectives as she endeavors to publish the authors rostered there. Working with other writers, Savannah gets to expand her horizons every day as someone brings a new idea to the table and the brainstorming begins. There is something addictive about the creative process for her and helping other authors embrace their dreams make hers a reality daily.
That’s the official Savannah, the unofficial version is just this: a girl who loves experiencing life with every twist and turn it takes. When she was born, she had such fine, light hair that her mother used to tape bows to her head so people would know she was a girl. She’s had a host of crazy unrelated jobs- everything from cake decorator, dry cleaner, and insurance agent to Emergency Room assistant, bartender, crime lab tech and bouncer. Savannah loves air hockey but completely sucks at it. She loves good jazz, good scotch, and antiques but also old rock, a quiet tea, and a tidy home. She’s completely technology impaired and can get it after she’s broken the computer or done it ass-backwards a few times… Thank Gods that there are some amazing meme creators that let her pilfer images or she’d be lost. Lime green is her color, the rhinoceros is her logo & philosophy, and she’s completely mad about seeing new authors try.
An action-packed, second-chance rom-com about two rival spies who must join forces in order to stay alive, from New York Times bestselling author Ally Carter.
Ten years ago, they joined the CIA.
Six years ago, he left the game.
Five years ago, they fell in love.
One year ago, she ran out into the cold with absolutely no intention of ever coming back.
And two minutes ago, they woke up, bloody and bruised and handcuffed together in the dark.
They don’t know where they are. They don’t know how they got there. And they have absolutely no idea who is after them or what this nameless, faceless villain wants.
The only thing that’s clear is that, after ten years of covers and chemistry, secrets and lies, these two rival spies have been sucked into their greatest mission yet, and now they’re going to have to team up to stay alive. (If they don’t kill each other first.)
Ally Carter is the bestselling author of novels that have epitomized action-adventure YA romance for more than a decade. She is also the author of The Winterborne Home for Vengeance and Valor and The Winterborne Home for Mayhem and Mystery for younger readers; as well as DEAR ALLY, HOW DO YOU WRITE A BOOK–which Booklist describes as “What Stephen King did for adult writers in ON WRITING…Carter does for aspiring teen authors.”

Get a date for the big gala in four weeks when I thought I could go solo? Challenge, accepted.
Now to find a hot, interesting guy who will dress up for a gala. Last minute. Who doesn’t already have plans on the busiest date night of the year.
But, so far the best part of the search for a great date has been the cute café I found and the geeky-hot owner who keeps rescuing me from these crazy eLove.com dates.
This should be easy-peasy. The internet is the home of all your hopes and needs, right?
Spoiler Alert: it isn’t.
Between the bromance date and the crazed single dad who needs to hire a nanny and housekeeper, not get a date, I’m running out of options.
If only a certain cutey didn’t have a phone call with “sweetheart” every day.
The weirder things get, the more I think just going solo is very I Am Woman, blah blah blah. Forget about the fact that my heart keeps bringing me back to a certain café even when I don’t need to be there…I mean, my heart doesn’t always get what it wants, does it?
I have read a few really heavy and dark books lately. I needed something fun and light hearted. I needed something sweet and fun. I also needed something to spend my audio credit on….hence this book.
Guys, this book was everything I needed. It most definitely took me out of the dark stuff I have been reading into a fun and adorable happy story.
Sarah is in need of a date. Sarah is pushed into online dating due to a “friend” who makes she feel less then because she doesn’t have a boyfriend. The dates are an absolutely horror show to say in the least. She is meeting her dates at a coffee shop when she befriends the shop owner. Slowly they build a friendship when Sarah realizes, Holy crap I love John!
The story was adorable and sweet and I will be grabbing the 2nd one asap. The story was just sweet and funny and everything you need at times.
