I purchased this book from Amazon.

The authors emailed to ask if we could run a promotion for their books. I said sure.  I grabbed this one and sat down to read it.  I will say I really had no clue what I was in for, and to be honest, that was kind of refreshing. I will say this book had some heavy topics as the main character deals with abandonment and loss, but it was a good read.

Maisie is a great female complex character.  She is dealing with a lot on her plate, and her lack of independence from her father.  Oliver swoops in to connect with her, but Maisie is not in the headspace for the connection.  Grief can be a bitch, can’t it?

I did enjoy watching Maisie come around and address the issue that was keeping her from moving forward with her life and love.
