OMG these ladies kill me.  There books always make me laugh out loud with the characters along with fan myself from the heat.  Even though this book travels back in time for Orla and Jethro, I still got everything I knew I would love about the characters.

We have met and loved Jethro and Orla in all of the books in the series so it made my heart happy so full to see their love story unfold even as untraditional as it was.  Orla had nothing and she meets Jethro in a personals ad oooorrrrr so she thinks and that is how this story begins.  Orla showing up to meet her farmer hubby to find out he is not the one who proposed but his mother is??  LOL I mean I was dying at the banter between our city girl and her broody bachelor.  Jethro and his super alpha dominant ways with Orla and her failed cooking…Snickers……Yes this book has an insta love element but ya know what, I loved it!!  I loved seeing these too and seeing their love unfold..LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!

If you love the series, like I do, you need this book in your life. PERIOD.  Orla is a scream at 20 as she is at 70.  Jethro corrupted her in the best of ways as she corrupted him too.

“Oh, just rip the bandage off, Lydia,” Nellie ordered, interrupting Jethro as she bustled over to where they all stood together. “Jethro, meet your future wife,” the waitress decreed, flapping a hand at where Orla stood, nose to chest with him. “Take a minute and let this settle in your bones, boy. Never have I been given such a look inside a submissive’s mind before now. Jenna Jacob does an outstanding  job of creating characters that you can relate to and come to call friends.

Dr.  Sam Brooks and Nurse Allisinda (Cin) Noland work together but also have a steamy relationship. Once her best friend, Liz, lets it slip that Sam is a Dom, Cin must decide what her next move is… learn to be the submissive he needs or walk away. Cin has to look deep into herself to decide who she is and if she can leave all preconceived notions behind so she can keep what she wants most, Sam.

The book sucks you in from the beginning and grabs a hold of you, letting go too soon. Lucikly, you never quite let go of these characters and see them throughout this amazing series.

This review is for Fiona Archer’s novella.

Oh do I love Fiona’s brooding and alpha males.  Aiden did not disappoint.  I will say I wish that Aiden and Mercy had been given a full novel because I think I could have fallen more in love with him then I did.

This is a great romantic suspense novel with a hint of some BDSM elements.  Aiden is undercover looking for a bad kid who caused another student to overdose when he sees Miss Jones.  She is the English teacher AKA The football coach’s nemesis.

Aiden and Mercy soon start a world wind courtship while Aiden is also trying to find out who the bad guy is.  The plot twist for who is involved was great and I sure didn’t see it coming.  The ending scene banter had me laughing and sad there wasn’t more!!  If you haven’t read any of Fiona’s other works this book will give you a good glimpse into her writing style but lemme tell ya…you need to buy a full book because as good as this book was……her full novels are WAY better!!!

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

I loved the first book in the series but if you haven’t read it no worries.  However ,in the first book, we meet Mark and know that he is dangerously close to becoming a feral grizzly. I really loved his grumpy demeanor and was excited to read his story.  I wanted to know how he would be ”saved”.

The story starts out GREAT…Mark on the edge of never coming back when he answers his door stark naked to see HER.  The girl that he has loved and feared since he was 16, Julie.  Julie is not a shifter or from his community but his grizzly has known she was the one for him.

I loved the banter between the two.  Julie perceives his lack of attention to him just being mean when in fact he was scared to death of how she made him feel. I loved how sweet and open Mark was with Julie and how he can get her to be super aggressive when she needs him.

I have to say I am a huge fan of the series and think each book gets better. I CAN NOT WAIT for Alan’s story.  I fee so bad for what happened to him plus the rejection he feels from the one he loves and his grizzly pack.

You have no idea how happy I was to see more of Sir and Brie. The wedding is over and now Thane has a whirlwind honeymoon full of surprises set for his Tia.

I have so many favorite scenes in this book one of which occurred on a train and another on a night boat ride. Can you see what I mean when I say they went on a whirlwind trip? Plus a bonus was being able to see a few of my favorites like Rytsar and Master Anderson.

Red Phoenix does a great job of keeping flipping the pages needing to know what will happen next. She also has a way of tossing in twists that twist my heart into a pretzel. The ending of this on has me in tears and in shock. I kept trying to turn more pages thinking if I kept trying more would appear. My heart is just a mess right now. I so excited and will have to patiently wait for A Cowboy’s Heart.

OH Thane and Brie.  It seems like the wedding was eons ago.  I have been a very impatient subbie wanting to know about our honeymoon with Master.  Of course the honeymoon was everything a girl could have dreamed of.  Our couple were loving and bonding and exploring their commitment pluuuus hoping to put a lil baby Thane in Brie’s belly made this a great and sweet read….now don’t go thinking Red turned the heat down because she soooooo didn’t but the novel was just SWEET.  All of us Brie lovers know how long we have waited for this moment…this time….THIS COUPLE to be married and together in this blissful state.  The book made my heart sooo full and it made me fall in love with Thane all over again.  Each gesture, kindness, naughtiness and look given to Brie by him *Dreamy Sigh*

We got to see our old favorites and celebrate with them over the couple and their nuptials.  I gotta tell ya, much like Brie, I was super excited over the gift our favorite Russian Dom gave the couple and my reaction was the same as her after opening and realizing she has to wait to use it…OH DANG!!!

The last couple of chapters were tough…a lot of stuff happens that can tear our happy couple apart.  I was so confused much like Brie. Could Thane have done something that will forever ruin their happiness or is there an evil person who is giving our couple a hard time all because of greed.

Typical Red fashion the story ends with us going NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  we need another chapter, hell even just one more paragraph…forget it……. just a sentence!!!  What an Evil Mistress she really is!!! J
