Any Given Lifetime had a very unique plot. I cannot say I’ve ever read anything quite like it. I realize this book is a work of fiction but it definitely left me thinking about the possibility of something like what happened to Neil, actually happening.

Neil and Joshua dated once upon a time but then there was a tragic accident and Neil did not survive.
Fast forward 20 years, Joshua is in his 40s now. He has loved and lost more than once. When a young scientist shows up in his life (one who shares an uncanny resemblance to his dead first love) Joshua thinks he might be losing his mind. I really can’t say I blamed him.

Any Given Lifetime is the first book I’ve read by Leta Blake. It is a story about love, loss, and then finding that love again in the next lifetime. Neil’s love for Joshua was unwavering. He dies, is born again, and remembers his love for Joshua from a past life. What then begins to unfold is one of the most epic love stories I have ever read. This was a beautiful, emotional, memorable read. I loved every single word. I will definitely be checking out her backlist!

Aidan is a recovering alcoholic suffering from PTSD after serving in the military. Rowan owns an antique store and dabbles in… other things, of which he is working on. They meet in a bar. That seems odd because Aiden is in recovery but you will soon find out the reason for this.

Oh lawd! First off, Rowan is flipping perfect. I love him. He is everything Aiden never knew he needed. He is dealing with his own stuff at the moment but the way he makes Aiden his priority so early on was just breathtaking, awe inspiring, all the adjectives that are synonymous with those words! Yeah, all those things. But the heart knows what the heart wants. Sometime it just takes a minute for the brain to catch up. I loved this book from the first page and the way J.M. Walker writes MM is also all those adjectives I mentioned above! This story gave me constant goosebumps.

Tempt Us is book 11 in the series. The final book in the series. I’m going to miss these kids. I’m going to miss looking forward to the next book in the series. But I know its time to move on. I feel like this series will be one I take with me and recommend to everyone forever. There’s something for every romance reader within the pages of these 11 books. You may even notice a familiar name mentioned A LOT in book 5. I would just like to point out that I have nothing to do with my evil namesake and her craziness. I wanted that villain to be tortured buuuut I digress. Lol…

I listen to this book in one day. It drew me in and I didn’t want to hit pause. I was looking for something different I am a shifter and MC gal I’m usually not a sports type girl but this one may have changed my mind.

Luke came from the wrong side of town but was able to rise above it and made something of his life. After his parents died he finds himself responsible for his 14 year old sister. A big change from what he was use to in his life. He is use to fast cars and easy women. He finds himself face to face with a feisty librarian when he forgets his sister at the library.

Violet is getting by day by day and paycheck to paycheck but she is doing well for herself. She befriends a 14 year old girl, Frankie, which comes by the library daily that she finds she has a lot in common with between books, music, and the loss of both their parents. Violet finds Luck is there to bail her out of trouble when her car breaks down and forced to spend time with him.

I loved the back and forth Violet had regarding the relationship with Luke. It felt real and could see this occur in life. Quite book girl finds herself in the fast and the furious world of a man and his car. You could not have two more opposites than Luke and Violet….Luke lives life by the seat of his pants and the faster the better….Violet likes quite time and to be alone. The side characters were great too. I want to find out so much more about them. My heart went out to Frankie for having to deal with her aunt and everything that her aunt put her through. I cannot wait to read Mitch’s story but the one I am really interested in is Kurt and Leelee. I loved Leelee from the moment she arrived at the races. I want a friend like her. I cannot wait to see how things go when these two go head to head.

Mary…girl your stories…what is in that head of yours???? I don’t know but keep with the crazy, fucked-up, sexy as sin, and delicious alpha stories you seem to come up with.

This story is about Clover who has had a wee bit of trauma in her life. She ran for fear of what might happen but now knows its time to return to face her past and help her pack. Her father, the pack alpha, always knew she would return and had 3 of the sexiest wolves ready to back her upon arrival. When Clover arrives with little Rosie everyone freaks and soon secrets begin to spill. Clover is now having to defend her pack from a rival while also slowing her libido down over these 3 sexy guards.

This is another solid story from Mary, and I would love to see more from Clover especially if they spill over into Ariel’s series like the Salt and Pepper Twins did in this novella!!

This book sat on my Kindle for almost a decade before I read it. It’s probably because of some sort of book fate. I feel like maybe I needed to be older and wiser to fully appreciate the story.

Nine Minutes is not a hearts and flowers love story. A 15 year old girl was abducted in the 1970s by a dangerous motorcycle gang. She became the leader Grizz’s obsession. Through out the book, as I learned more, I’m pretty sure I started to fall in love with Grizz! Okay, I know I did, but how could you not?! Grizz and his MC have a huge problem though- well besides the whole kidnapping of a minor- and its the tangled web of deceit he has managed to weave throughout his lifetime. There are so many secrets and lies and eventually those things have a way of catching up with us. 4 super creepy STARS

Dan Crawford is attending a 5 week college prep course at New Hampshire College. He will be staying in the Brookline building which is an old asylum the college turned into dorms. He is excited for the summer ahead of him and is looking forward to meeting new people. As his cab pulled up to the building he will be calling home for the next 5 weeks, something in Dan’s head whispered turn around now. Maybe Dan should have listened…

I cannot remember where I happened upon this book but the cover is fantasic and I wanted to read it immediately! I love diving into a well written YA thriller from time to time and the author did not disappoint. With new twists and turns on each page, I feel like I was freaking out almost as much as Dan and his friends as they tried to figure out and explain away the mysterious happenings and coincidences that quickly became impossible to ignore. Word of advice: if you are reading a physical copy of Asylum, have book 2 handy  because you are going to want it quicker than it can be delivered. Thank goodness the little book store near my house had a copy available.
