Kat Maxwell, seriously I cannot say enough.  I love her voice with this series. She is like coming home when I listen to Michel’s stories!! *Chef’s Kiss* She is the best!!

This series is an auto buy for me.  I may have gotten an ARC but I had my preorder already ready for release day.  If you are a fan of alpha men that melt for their women, this is a series for you!  But stay away from my man Baldy!  Got it!!!  Good.  Ok now let’s talk about this book.  I really didn’t know these characters as they were both side characters.  Doc has been around the MC fringes for a few book as she helps the Steels and their women with mental health.  Chief, however, is essentially a new character.  When we learn he knows Annie…I was like “Who is Annie????  Oh crap!!  Its CREAM!!!”  Yeah, I don’t know the real names but road names anymore!!  LOL

Ok so Doc is old buddies with Red.  They were like besties in medical school with huge amounts of resect for the other in their fields.  Red is who got Doc to help his MC with mental health needs.  When Doc is being stalked by an unknown killer, she runs to the MC for a wedding of one of her patients.

Chief …I kinda don’t want to ruin who he is because the story of how he knows Annie was pretty sweet.  But let’s just say he and Annie go WAY back. He comes to see his friend get married to some young punk plus meet her little man, Liam.  Annie and Chief catching up was hard at times given the history but also pretty special as he is embraced by Bounty.

Chief and Doc run into each other at the Roadside but don’t really get to talk until they are both at Maggie’s for breakfast the following morning.  The attraction on both sides is spectacular.  Chief is dealing with his past and Doc is worried about even having a future.

Chief deals with his past and once he realized Doc is someone he won’t let go of.  Doc’s stalker soon comes around putting Red and the guys on high alert.  Doc is so scared of losing Chief she is the one who pretty much claims him and names him.  (We all know once you been claimed you are no longer on the market.  LOL )

But I really enjoyed seeing Red a little more one on one.  We see him a lot in the books as he is the president but seeing him with Harlow…melts my heart.  Also seeing him with his friend to talk medical things over with since he can’t lean on my baby daddy, Baldy, for that was pretty good to see.  Learning more and more about him made my heart happy.

I absolutely LOVED this book and meeting some new prospects.  I also love what we learn about a few of the couples.  This family is growing more and more.

The Last Laugh, The Long Ranch book 3 by Michel Prince, narration by Mark Neely

I was given this audio book for an honest review by the author.

Mark’s voice was a great pick for Monty the main male character.  I thought he did a great job bringing the character to life.  I did think his was missing a bit when he voiced the female characters and at time he seemed rushed to deliver the dialogue.  I was however happy with the narration of the story at the end,

The love story in this book is Monty and Harper. I have not read the other 2 books in the story.  I didn’t seem lost or confused as the back story was told in away that gave me the information I needed for this story.  I will say it seems the OVER ALL ARK of the story is in all 3 books.  Like I said, I didn’t feel like /I missed anything but if you can’t stand to read out of ore you might want to start with #1.

Monty, Monty, Monty……he is the reformed town manwhore.  He likes the ladies, and the ladies like him.  LOL  The husbands however, are not fans of his…I mean I get it right???

Monty is looking to find the man who beat up a family member when he sees a beautiful woman on the beach.  A delicious one-night stand later and he sees her again, except this time he is in handcuffs annnnd not the fun kind.

Harper is a DA and she is DONE with her crooked boss and her POS ex-husband who doesn’t seem to understand he is an EX not current.  She goes to Mexico to get the guy she is after and BOOM meets Monty.

The couple keep “crashing” into each other.  Monty catches feelings and isn’t a fan of this.  He also isn’t a fan of just being “Man Meat” for his woman.  Harper is so confused by Monty, but she is not looking for love at all.  Been there , done that and still has the ring to prove it.

A few explosions, death threats, run in with ex’s and a terrible mother has this couple really struggling to be together.

I liked the couple and did enjoy the journey they took.  Chapter 12 had me laughing so hard annnnd then freaking out a bit!!

The audio book from this story was AMAZING!!   I have never heard a story from Savannah but LAWD will I look for more.  She brought this sexy hot story to life and added to it for sure.

My friend told me that I was missing out and she gifted me a copy of the book to read.

HOLY MOTHER OF HOTNESS!!  Uhm where have I been and why has someone kept the rock on my head for so long.  Knight is hot, alpha, naughty and just yum.

Knight is not a hero but an anti-hero.  I mean the guy is not a white picket fence kinda guy.  I mean he roughed up Anya’s landlord for not taking care of the apartment complex.  They weren’t even dating.  They jst met.  Now he isn’t the creep stalkery alpha’s you read about.  Actually he stayed as far away from her as he could get because she is so pure and he is not pure at all.  However, when she comes to his club and is getting harassed, he is no longer hiding but claiming Anya for own.

Anya is the girl who is beautiful but doesn’t think she is beautiful.  She is super low maintance and is the loyal to the end friend.  When her friend Sandrine (GRRR HATED HER FYI) drops her for “the one” she stumbles into Knights world.  She is whiplashed by his actions but she just kinds goes with it.  When the two start to date, she says no and he was like “well too bad because we are dating”.  I actually liked how he pushed himself into her life and made her realize that she is happier with him and he is too.

Man the stuff they go through is crazy.  I loved how no matter what Knight was honest with Anya.  She may not like what he has to say but he put it out there and never hid anything from her.  Anya was a calming balm to Knight.  She was able to tame him a bit while letting is stay HIM!!

I loved the story and ant wait to read more from the series.

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessories and she hadn’t taken her first breath!).

I was given this by the author for an honest review  

Waylynn is starting college in a new town and trying to be as normal as possible. She got the right combination of medication so that the voices will stop for the time being and she can be as normal as she can. But when she hears the voices that are normally in her head out loud, she starts to get a little freaked out but she isnt going to let that bother her too much. She’s just gotten out of the in-patient treatment center that her parents send her to when the voices get to strong because her medication isnt working again. But this time shes not going crazy the voices belong to faces and they are right in front of her. Maverick is the TA in Waylynn’s english class and they have a pull to each other that is very strange to her shes never felt anything like this before. But she also feels it for his brother too. She cant explain these feelings but she also don’t know what to do about it. None of them do, will they give into these feelings, with Waylynn telling them all about her past or will she keep it a secret. This book was so good a bit confusing to me in the beginning but then the pieces started to go together and I couldn’t put it down. Once again Albany proves why I love her and anticipate all of her words. 

Albany lives in Michigan where she’s happily married to her high school sweetheart. She spends most of her time juggling her four children’s extracurricular activities, with her nose stuck in a book. When not reading you can find her writing her very own book boyfriends. Albany’s passion is writing romance with real characters that are far from perfect, but always seem to find their own happily ever afters.

I purchased this audio book.

When your BFF reads a book and tells you that you have to read it because she knows you will like it. You do not ask questions you pick it up and listen to it.  She was so right I did enjoy this one not only was it a good story but the narrator took it to another level.  Hayden did a great job.

Bree just had a crappy day. Found her fiancé in bed with another woman so she decided to hit the bars with her BFF. I loved Denise and seeing her and Bree’s friendship. Bree ran into Jase at the bar and decides to have a one-night fling. The next night she is out the door and never plans on seeing him again.  When Jase wakes up and she is gone ticked him off. He thought they had something. When the stars line up Bree is brought back to Jase and he is going to hang on to her and not let her run again.

These two are amazing together. They both have their demons they are trying to forget but they keep working their way back. They each understand what the other is going through and knows what the other needs. I loved that Bree was just as tough as Jase. She is no weak female that needs Jase but strong enough to stand up to him.

I enjoyed this story so much I have to say the narration set this one apart from other audio books. I am excited to read more of this series.

I purchased this book and audio.

Again, I have to say the narration is A-MAZ-ING!!  I mean Hayden just blows me away with each book.  I absolutely love love love her ability to tell the story.

I am going to start by saying this series was absolute perfection.  I have called all the guys as mine to my blogging sister.  I can’t decide who I love most. I can’t decide which woman I want to be best friends with.  I can say that I most definitely will be relistening to this series time and time again.

Oh Tim.  What a character he has been.  The police officer who has a heart of gold.  He loves his brother and now Bree.  We have seen him through the entire series, so I was pumped to see him get his HEA.  He is just the fun-loving guy and I always wondered WHY??  Why hasn’t he been snatched up?  ANNND Then we learn his story.  Poor dude.  Again, he has the purest heart of all and he has his heart destroyed by love.

Zoe is something.  She is a firecracker for sure.  I fell in love with her the first scene where she is so stubborn and tried to climb (unsuccessfully) through a window.  She is starting her life over after a divorce and career change.

When Tim sees Zoe stuck in the window the chemistry was born.  They both are attracted to the other but he is afraid to try and she is not making space for anyone right now.  The more time they spend together the more their chemistry is undeniable.

I was so happy listening to the story of her overcoming and learning to trust/lean on people while we see Tim learning to love/trust again.

I have to say I am broken hearted this is the last book in the series because it was just such a great series and I will definitely be reading more from the author in the future.

I purchased this book.

GUUUYS~This series!!!  I am in HEAVEN!!!  I will admit I am not a huge military reader, but these books got me in my feeeeeels!!!

Denise….We love her or I love her anyway. I mean she is the best.  Sorry but I have a huge girl crush and I want her to be my best friend.  I would say I would fight Bree, but I know what she can do with a rifle…so I will just share her!!!

Denise is selfless.  Denise is the most loyal person.  She is who you want in your corner.  But Denise is a MEEEESSSSS. Between getting her heart broken by Chris (accidently I admit) and the stuff with Sarah.  Girl is about to CRACK!!!  Well she does crack actually….and punches Chris ….LOL I did laugh pretty hard at that scene.

Chris is so mad when he finds out no one told Denise about his job.  He rushed home and finds out his new case is *Gulp* Denise’s cousin!!!  Yeah he is allll kinds of a mess but he knows he wont let her go again.

This book has A LOT going on.  Denise and Chris trying to get it together…mainly Denise because Chris is in it for the long haul except, he won’t do girls hair *Snicker*.  Denise figuring her life out now that she is a single mom of 2 kids.  She needs help but won’t ask for it at the shelter and just damn with her life!!!!

I am telling you.  I have book 3 ready to go.  Hayden’s narration is PERFECTION.  She gives the scenes the tension voice or comedic voice as written. I think her narration had made my enjoyment even better.  For real girl is amazing!!

I honestly am torn…do I love Jase or Chris more…its close but Jase may still be on the top…but its CLOSE!!!!

I purchased this book.

I will say if you haven’t read book one you probably need too.  I think you can read this book without reading book one but Denise is hella funny and you don’t want to miss her comedy.     I mean I had a bit of a girl crush on her TBH so this book and book made my heart happy.

I want to start by saying Hayden’s narration is *Chef’s kiss* amazing.  She does an amazing job with telling the story.  She is easily becoming a favorite voice for me.

Ok so we see Denise and Chris in book 1 but had no clue what was going on between the two of them under Bree and Jase’s noses. Granted Bree was being stalked but still….

Denise and Chris are hella funny together.  They both had some issues, but Chris is ready for a woman too settle down with.  He didn’t realize it until he sees Jase with Bree and until a certain female is giving him the slip.  Karma play boy!!!

Denise is frightened outta her mind with these feelings she is having for Chris.  No one gets her and he does, everyone pushes her and he doesn’t.  No one gives her comfort like Bree and yet she is leaning into his touch. FREAK OUT CITY!!!

Right when we think they are going to have a HEA we quickly realize there is a reason for book 2….OOOF Chris you are in big trouble but hopefully Denise wont be toooooo mad??? Oh dude you’re screwed because yeah she is going to lose it on you.

I purchased this audio book.

First up, I am a narration snob.  I admit it.  I am picky and picky and even picky about my voices.  Ya’ll Hayden’s voice was THE BEST!!   Seriously she brought the characters to life.  She read the snide comments that were written with just the right attitude and sass.    For real….In love I am with her narration.

I grabbed this book because I had audio credits to burn.  I admit I was shallow when I saw the cover.  Don’t judge we have all stopped for a pretty cover.  Anywho, I then read the blub and was like hrmmmmm lets give it a whirl.

I am so dang glad I did.  I was laughing so hard at scenes because Denise and Bree are totally me and my bestie.  I was also fanning myself because ….. JASE….MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Its gonna take a lot for me to dump him as my book boyfriend……for this series at least.  #BookWhore

I loved that fact this book was military but not so over my head military I was lost.  I loved that the characters all understand what it is like to return home after service trying to find a new normal after all they saw and witnessed while in service.  I loved the teasing of which branch you served in.  I loved the comradery they all had.

Jase and Bree meet at a bar.  Bree had just tossed her fiancé and his side piece out when she decided to drink her sorrows away with her bestie.  After an amazing night with Mr. Walking Orgasm she slips out the door.  Jase is not happy because he finally felt a connection.  He is going crazy and then she just shows up in his life again.  Mr. Super Alpha grabs her and won’t let her go.  Literally he grabbed her and it was hysterical!

I thought the story of the two of them dealing with falling in love and falling so fast was freaking them out.  I loved they knew what the other was dealing with.  I loved that Bree kicks Jase’s ass but Jase also is there to hold Bree when she falls apart.

The mystery of the story is that someone is harming people for hurting Bree.  I thought I knew the who and when we find out the why, it made my heart sad.  Menta Health is a serious issue and I loved how respectfully this was dealt with throughout the book.

I am super pumped for Denise and Chris.  This is going to be a crazy ride!

*Sobbing and whaling* Now I am caught up I must wait like everyone else who is addicted to this series *sobbing and whining* I hate waiting!!!!

Ok so I got my tantrum outta the way lets get to talking about Mountain and Nightingale.  I LOVED THEM SO MUCH.  Ok so I am sure that’s not gonna sell ya on the series so lets talk more…..I am a mega nerd.  I am a sci-fi chick so the sci-fi references made me giggle a lot in this book.  Again might not be the best seller but I tried!!  LOL

Mountain is a man of mystery.  I mean Jesus he is hot as EFF but we don’t really know much about his history.  All we know is he WAS associated with a bad group of bikers, but he walked when he realized they were not the group for him.  Since joining the Steels he finally found a family and is not so patiently waiting to be patched in.  When a run for fun turns into a nightmare, Mountain proves his worth once again to the club.

Amber is a single, divorced mom trying to do her best for her kids when she sees a bad accident happen.  The trauma nurse in her jumps up to help.  She is thankful for the assistance Mountain gave her kids during the drama of the day.  However, the little spark between the two and her need to nurture gave him a reason to see her again.

The courtship of Amber by Mountain is so slow burn and also absolutely delicious.  He knows her limits due to being a mom but goes out of his way to show her he cares for her kids as much as he is growing to care for her.

Amber is what I would guess anyone who is unsure of this new MC life would feel.  She has questions and concerns but her love of this man…this MOUNTAIN is growing so much faster than she can stop.

A little misunderstanding plus a very scary traumatic scene makes Amber question the loyalty of her man to her and her family. Amber’s dickhole ex-husband causes more drama for her and her new relationship with Bjorn but she just cant stop because for the first time EVER she feels seen, heard, and respected.

I have to say IF Baldy did not own my heart…I might be #TeamMountain.  He is the big, mean looking, scary muscle of the MC but his heart is a squishy teddy bear…errrr wookie….. for the woman and kids, he has fall in love with.

Michel Prince is an author who graduated with a bachelor degree in History and Political Science. Michel writes young adult and adult paranormal romance as well as contemporary romance.

With characters yelling “It’s my turn damn it!!!” She tries to explain to them that alas, she can only type a hundred and twenty words a minute and they will have wait their turn. She knows eventually they find their way out of her head and to her fingertips and she looks forward to sharing them with you.

When Michel can suppress the voices in her head she can be found at a scouting event or cheering for her son in a variety of sports. She would like to thank her family for always being in her corner and especially her husband for supporting her every dream and never letting her give up.
