Sam’s first day at Fallen Crest Public doesn’t go well. Some girls want to be her. Some girls want to destroy her. And some just don’t like her. All in all, despite being protected by Mason and Logan, it’s still only the strong survive. Sam will not only have to survive, she needs to learn how to conquer too, but there’s another battle growing. Things are about to come to a disastrous end between the towns, Roussou and Fallen Crest. Sam’s other main dilemma? Keeping Mason and Logan from getting arrested or hospitalized.

Twinsie Jo’s Review:

HOLY BALLS ON A CRACKER.

I don’t think I can love this series even more. Okay. I lied. This series is by far one of my favourites, if not THE favourite. With each book, I go in blind, not wanting to read the blurb for fear of getting spoilers. It’s been fun doing it this way.

This is the 3rd book in the series and I enjoyed reading Mason’s POV. I just love Samantha and I find myself wanting to be her friend. My heart breaks for her each time something tragic happens.

By the end of this book, I was yelling, demanding that what I thought happened didn’t actually happen. It’s been a long while since I’ve yelled at a book. Thank you, Tijan for that.

Mason and Sam have been through so much. With Logan included, these three can’t seem to catch a break. When a certain something goes down, the guys team up to bring down *shudder* Kate. I can’t stand her. By the end of the book, a part of me did feel sorry for her and I gained respect for Sam when she “saved” her.

Logan…oh Logan. A little secret is revealed by the end of the book and I totally knew it. Not because it was predictable but because I feel like I know Logan and know what he’s thinking. Lol. I can’t believe how much I’ve connected with these characters. I will be sad when the series ends but for now, I’m going to enjoy book 4.
