I haven’t read the other series by this author because being a blogger I am just busy. All of my friends raved about it so when I was given the chance to read it, I jumped.
Jake is a yummy, hawt broken soul (that we love to read about don’t we ladies??). He is really lost in a state because he has these night mares and we don’t really know the why for them. He leaves his SAS and needs to stay busy so he gets the bodyguard job to keep his mind busy. This way he can’t think about or focus on his past.
Camille is the kiddo of a rich but not so good business man. She has grown up with wealth and doesn’t really know any other way. When her dad makes a deal that threatens his little girl, he hires the best body guard his money can buy. Now Jake sees Camille and is not at all in love with this rich princess however Camille was a hot and bothered mess around Jake. Jake is stunned stupid when he realizes that Camille is so much more then he originally assumed…you know what they say about assuming right? He sees her for a bright and independent woman. Camille begins to see Jake and is very interested in all there is to know about the man who is taking over her every thought.
