angies review

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

EEEP!!  Jay and Angel!!  In Stain we can see there is some strain to our couple but since the book was Asher and Meeka we didn’t get to know why?  Well this novella dives right into the couple and we discover A LOT about Jay we didn’t know before.  We get to see the stress and anxiety she is under all because of “Love”.  She has loved 2 men in her life….Tyler and Angel.  They can’t be more different in how they treat and care for Jay.  The comparison she does internally is messing with her mind.

Jay is also a hot mess over her perceived betrayal by Meeka, one of her trusted MC girls PLUS the damage that Vega did to her when she was taken.

This is a quick but deep look at the couple.  They have a lot of trauma to overcome and then deal with some exciting news for the future of the club and them!!

Melinda's Review

I received this book for an honest review.

This is a great addition to the King’s Harlots Series. While reading Stain we see a strain between Jay and Angel but never know what caused it. Well this book answers all those questions.

Jay is having a hard time forgiving Meeka and also trying to deal with her past demons. She is still trying to deal with what happened with Vega but what is really holding her back is comparing what she had with her ex, Tyler, and what she has with Angel. She loves Angel but will all of that in her head it is causing a strain between her and Angel. will she be able to overcome her past and move forward with Angel or will she run?

Angel as always refuses to let Jay lip away from him. he has a way of pulling her out of her darkness and into the light. however, can he pull her out of this darkness? Can Angel help her heal and get back to the Jay we knew and love.

I liked getting more of Jay and Angel. It was eyeopening to see into Jay’s past how hard it is for her to get over what she has been through. I was frustrated at her when dealing with Meeka. I enjoyed the surprise toward the end. I cannot wait for the next one to see how the King’s Harlots deal with things that are coming their way.
