#REVIEW – Four Crows by Lily White

“You’ll have to forgive me, Darlin’, for all the unforgiveable things I’m about to do…”

Loyalty is never easy – especially when you’re forced to choose between family and the man you would do anything to possess…

Born into a world that no child should endure, Magpie “Maggie” Crow is doted on by her loving father and over protective brothers. As much as she loves them, she fears them, especially when she learns secrets they’ve kept hidden.

Elliot McLaughlin joined the U.S. Marine Corps right out of high school to provide for his wife and son. He’d never intended to become a father so young, but was willing to do what it took to give his family everything they needed.

After Elliot’s family goes missing, he returns from war to an empty home. Obsessed with discovering who took his family, he investigates their disappearance and plots his revenge.

Passion brings Maggie and Elliot together. Obsession pushes them apart. As a bitter battle begins between Elliot and the Crows, Maggie’s heart hangs in the balance.

Twinsie Jo’s Review:

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author for review and critique.

I’m a huge fan of Lily and her writing but this book blew me out of the water. It gave me all the feels and left me begging for more all throughout the book. I couldn’t read each page fast enough to find out what happened next. Although this book has a love story in it, the dark and twisted side of Lily’s writing is smack dab in the middle and it makes me love it even more.

Lily takes us on a wild ride filled with love, desperation and revenge.

Without giving too much away because honestly, you should just read this book and experience it for your self, I’ll say that Elliott and Maggie are two of my favourite characters out of Lily’s books. Elliott is broken, looking to seek revenge to those who wronged him. And Maggie? Poor poor Maggie. She’s caught in the middle of a very dangerous and twisted game.

I can’t say enough on how much I loved this story. I can’t wait for more from Lily.

I give this book a million dark delicious stars.
