Poppy's Anthem

Heath
“I’m not an addict!” Rock legend, Wild’s life is falling apart. The problem with fame and fortune is that you can’t trust anyone. Everyone wants a piece of him. They’re all stalkers! He fantasizes about finding his Elevator Girl—that kiss! He’d love to run into her again, but he didn’t even get her name . . . life is full of regrets.
Poppy
Living a life so immersed in the world of reading and writing romance can be dangerous for a young woman, like the night Poppy Talbot allowed herself to believe in the happy endings all those romance novels promise. Her First Kiss, the guy she’s been dreaming about for seven years, amazingly stumbles into her life again, proving that fantasies can come true . . . but fantasies don’t break your heart.

ARC for an honest review.

Poppy was witty and entertaining. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from the story from Heath and Poppy’s unconventional first meeting to the surprise ending. The two characters come across with strong personalities and continuously fight to control the story’s progression. There was no way of knowing what direction this story would take with all of its twists and turns that kept me on my toes to the very last page. The whole story felt real. I could visualize it as if I were watching a movie. I don’t think I will be forgetting Heath or Poppy anytime soon. It was a great story with an unbelievable ending!

I have a new one coming out, March 16, 2017. It’s an action/adventure romance. Here’s the blurb:

My last project, Wet, was a genre jump for me.

My first, Jungle: The Whispering Ruins is a Young Adult, Action and Adventure-Sword and Sorcery story.

Wet, named for the tropical and scuba diving setting, is the journey of 2 broken people. Paul and Rhees unwittingly find that what’s damaged in the other, somehow has the power to heal what troubles their own souls.

I am touched to see the great reviews. Keep them coming, please. Wet is a 3 part series and is not a standalone–sorry. I know some people hate sequels but I never intended this story to grow to the proportions that it did, it just took on a life of it’s own.

Now that all the Wets are out, I’ve been working on the sequel to Jungle. I also have a Wet Part 4 in my mind, and a totally new book idea. Unfortunately, I’m a slow writer, but I’m aiming for a new release by December 2016. Fingers crossed!
