Mistress Sammie is who this book is about and boy did it blow my mind grapes! This series never fails to make me weepy and Jacob’s had me putting my device down just a couple chapters in to get a hold of myself.
Mistress Sammie is the bartender and and one of the club’s resident Dommes, I like to call her the velvet lined iron Domme, as she can be hard when she needs to be but does it with a beautiful softness.

As she is remembering her past and breaking down I had no choice but to go down that spiral with her, that is how good Jacob’s is at pulling at emotions. Max does not let her hide behind the walls that she has built though, he doesn’t just use a wreaking ball to get them down either. He helps her tear them down herself one by one and allows the true her to shine through.
Not only does Club Genesis see the birth of a new woman and relationship but, it has to deal with ex member Master Kerr that breaks in and steals the member’s info to try and start a club of his own. Which leads to a a group from the club infiltrating and rescuing Subs that he has beaten.
I always think that the newest Club Genesis book can’t top the previous, then I start the newest and i am just as blown away. I also thought that Daddy Drake and Trevor’s book was my favorite, but this one may have just changed my mind.
