#Review #MC – Shade’s Lady by Joanna Wylde

Shade's Lady (Reapers MC, #6.5)

New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde returns to the world of the Reapers Motorcycle Club…

Looking back, none of this would’ve happened if I hadn’t dropped my phone in the toilet. I mean, I could’ve walked away from him if I’d had it with me.

Or maybe not.

Maybe it was all over the first time he saw me, and he would’ve found another way. Probably—if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that Shade always gets what he wants, and apparently he wanted me.

Right from the first.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Oh boy…I loves my MC books and this series has never let me down. I was super excited to read about Shade, The National President, because if the regular presidents are alpha and brooding what the heck is the National President going to be like. He totally did not let me down!
Mandy is a down on her luck waitress at the local small town dive bar. She is currently not dating but dating a member of the Reapers MC Support club. Rebel is a total worthless POS but she is all about a good time plus not falling in love. Love is bad. Love is very bad!
Shade has watched Mandy forever and it is making him mental to see her with the dip Rebel. When he and Mandy are thrown together we find out exactly how bad of a guy Rebel is…..smh…..
The chemistry is great between Shade and Mandy. I loved watching her give him grief and not “fall in line” like all the other club girls do. She will not be just another girl. Shade is going nuts. What about her is so special? He has no idea but he can’t get her out of his head. He hates and loves this woman because she actually tells him what to do annnnnnd no one tells him what to do but the fact that he does what she says = hilarious!!!
I love the man that Shade is. He is who he is. He is outlaw but he lives and dies by his code. I love the support he gives Mandy and how he realizes early on he should tread lightly with her. I love love love the banter but man the final scene……yeah ugh……the breakfast line…….yeah it was a good one!!!
