#WOTR #REVIEW – Crash and Burn (The Witness Series Book 6) by: H. D’ Agostino

Crash and Burn (Witness, #6)

Detective Mark Colby is used to being in charge whether it’s on the job, or in the bedroom. He knows the rules and follows them to the letter, that is until she steps into his station.

Detective Antonia Rossi has always had to fight her way to the top. Being the police commissioner’s daughter in a male dominated profession has always come at a price. When she’s assigned as Mark’s new partner, she knows she’s in for a fight. Mark’s reputation for dominance proceeds him, and he makes no effort to hide it.

Can duty override desire, or will it end in a fiery crash of wills? Sometimes the crash is worth the burn.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Mark, Mark, Mark what can I say. Mark and Amber have been together for a while and lets just say they are comfortable, argumentative yes, but their relationship has seem to come to a stalemate. Mark being the one to “fix” things decided why not get married. *shakes head* Just keep watching it is 100% a train wreck ready to happen.

Toni is Marks new partner and has always had to be better than the one before and the ones after because of who she was. She is sexy, strong, determined, and does not back down. Toni is going to give Mark a run for his money.
With the train wreck I mentioned above that happened between Mark and Amber. Mark finds himself playing along with Toni when she asks him to do her a favor. OH my she has no idea what she is in for that day. How can two individuals who are dominate as these two make this work? Someone has to submit at some point but who?
Mark turned out to be one hot sexy man. The connection Mark and Toni have is electric. I loved when these tow got together but when he had to interact with her family that was the best.
I love this series and cannot wait for the next one. It will be tough to read but so ready to hear Jenni’s story next.
