Bantamweight (Hallow Brothers Book 5)

Abraham Hallow would do just about anything to get out from under his oldest brother, Josiah’s, thumb. That includes performing as the Luchador in the local semi-professional wrestling circuit. He gets more than he bargained for when he hooks up with a woman with multicolored hair. The draw to her is undeniable. He wakes up the following morning with the ancient mark of his ancestors, mating him to the mystery woman he met the night before.
It was a simple mission—find the infamous Hallow brothers, kill them, and bring back the amulet. Kai’s plans get derailed after one night of hot, crazy sex with a mask wrestler. When she finds out the wrestler was none other than Abraham Hallow, the youngest of the Hallow brothers, she is exiled from the mermaid kingdom. Yet the orders from her king still stand. Can she deny her ever-growing love for Abraham, or will she fulfill her duties of killing him?

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

OH my Abe here is another Hallow to love and the next one to feel the pull. Abe is the baby. I’m telling you at 21 years old he has had enough of all the baby of the family jabs. They taunt him, baby him, keep things from him and refuse to let him fight like the other brothers. So if they won’t let him fight he will go out on his own and keep that a secret from his family. If they cannot keep things from him he will keep things from them.

Kai has been owned all her life and she is darn tired of it. She is ordered to find the Hollow brothers kill them and return the Heka and amulet to her boss.  But when she is drawn to the masked fighter she soon realizes how that one time changed her life.

Kia is finally free and does not want to be owned by anyone. In her mind the mating mark means she is no longer free but now owned by Abe. She fights the mating pull.  It is up to Abe to show Kia what it means to be a part of a family and that he just wants to take care of her and protect her not own her. He started to show her that when he bought something to help her even though he caught hell from his brothers.

We learned so much more in this book.  There are so many other beings that we are being introduced to in this series. WOW the plot that carries over threw all these books keeps getting better and better. We are aware of more enemies and allies. I’m so interested in knowing more about Zeke. I’m thinking he may be my wolf.
