Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.
Taisha Demay, I am an Army Veteran, author and mother of two grown children and a whole host of animals. Whenever people ask me what I do, I tell them I write stories of acceptance, redemption and love. I don’t just write romance.
When you are writing, what are some go to’s that you needs? IE Foods to eat, noise level, place to sit.
I play the Weather Channel, and The ID Channel or a black and white movie. And sometimes I listen to music. A go-to snack is sea salt pretzel crackers and plain hummus.
What are you favorite things about attending signings?
Meeting my author idols, other book fans and making new connections and friends
What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?
Since I have practically met everyone I wanted to meet, including Stephen King, I would say, Lorann Dohnner.
When you are writing, do you have a consistent schedule where you write every day at the same time or are you a sit and go on different days to get it done kinda person?
There is no set time, I write the moment my characters start speaking which could be at 3 a.m. or twelve midnight.
What is your favorite memory so far as an author?
My favorite memory was my very first book signing as a published author. I was greener than new grass and learned so much from the veterans.
Do you have a book that is your most prized possession? What is it and why is it so amazing?
I would say I don’t. Because I see myself as an equal opportunity book lover. As my vast collection can attest.
